Group RP The Deep Trenches RP Thread

“Do you have any leads regarding the whereabouts of the second orb?” The Princess asked, looking at Marina. “Even if it is just a small detail, it may be of help.”

Marina looked at everyone else, Marco giving her an approving nod. The girl then looked at the Princess. “When we purified the first river... the orb shot a ray of light towards... the east, if I remember correctly.”

“That must mean something,” Lady June said, looking at the Princess and the King. “Perhaps the clean lake of the duchy of Surilby can be of help? It is towards the east of Merlourn after all.”

 

“The trip to Surilby will definitely be dangerous,” the Princess spoke, “Traveling through the area by land will be difficult since we have the threat of thieves.”

Lady June then spoke, “I will be more than happy to send a group of knights and cavaliers to travel with you, your Highness.”

“That would be greatly appreciated,” the Princess said in turn. She then looked at the rest of the group. “If you do not mind, I would like for us to start traveling this afternoon, as soon as possible. I assume a part of the deal you had with the Duchess also involved cleaning the rivers that was pass by, and we certainly will pass by one.”

 

(No it's fine, I think it'd make better chances for Zaria and Marina to get closer.)

Marina looked at everyone else before looking at the Princess. "Like you, I don't want to waste any time, your Highness. I think we should get to work as soon as possible."

The Princess smiled. "Thank you for trusting us. Rest assured we'll do everything we can in order to keep you, your friends, and the orb safe."

As the meeting ended, the group returned to their chambers, waiting for the preparations for their journey to end. Marco kind of felt strange towards the Princess. She seemed oddly familiar for someone he hasn't met before.

 

Marina nodded at everyone’s concerns. “Yes, I understand that we don’t know much about them. But as the Princess spoke, I could feel her sincerity that she actually wants to change what their predecessors have done.”

She then sighed, “I know I probably shouldn’t be trusting others easily, but if they could really help us bring Atlantis back faster, then I’ll gladly work with all of them.”

 

"I agree, the sooner we get started the sooner we could set off for our next destination," Marco said. Truth be told, he was ready to go already, but with the preparations and everything, they had to wait.

 

Marina looked at Erik, "To be honest, I'd like to say I'm already aware of the dangers the waters have, but even I have no clue what we'll be facing in this new body of water."

"The waters containing monsters is already common knowledge - the thing is that we don't know what kind of monster it will be. Will it be a sea serpent like last time? I have no idea." There was clear uncertainty in her voice, but Marina tried to hide it.

Rigel knocked on the door, but before anyone could respnd, the Princess burst into the room, throwing the doors wide open. She looked at everyone, walking inside the room. Rigel stayed outside quietly, and the Princess began to speak. "The preparations have ended, but before we depart, I would like for you to formally introduce yourselves."

 

The Princess raised an eyebrow at Zaria's demand, but decided to play along anyway. "I am Margaret, Crown Princess of Invidia." She then fell into a curtsy, lifting up a part of her dresss. "It is a pleasure to meet all of you."

She then straightened herself up. "It would be nice if you could all start introducing yourselves."
