I've been playing a lot of Xenoblade DE for the past month and will probably start up NG+ soon. Also have been playing Fire Emblem Three Houses.
I’ve been switching back and forth between VA-11 Hall-A, Steins;Gate Elite, Chaos;Child, Persona 5 Royal, and Death Mark.
Just took over as part of a clan leader in an MMO I play a lot. Not sure how I really feel about it, but one thing is for sure, I'm playing that game a lot more now.
I’ve been playing a mobile rhythm game called Cytus II a lot more recently. I’ve been intent on getting a perfect score on a hard level for a few days and I finally did it!
I bounce around a lot. But the ones I play most are; Pokémon Shield, Just Shapes and Beats, and Destiny 2.
Yes. But no seriously, I play a lot of games. At the moment stuff I'm trying to focus on are Valkyria Chronicles, Lunar Knights, Super Paper Mario (Doing that for Game Clearing on Twitch), Titanfall 2, Mario Party 4, and whatever I feel like playing on the Sega Genesis Mini
I've been playing Fire Emblem: Three Hours for some time, with occasional play sessions with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Maker 2. Also have been playing Minecraft those past weeks.
I’ve been playing the various megaman x games that come with the legacy collections. And I’m clearly not good btw. XD
I'm currently alternating between the following: -Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade (true ending) -Ghost of Tsushima -Persona 4 Golden -Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) in pursuit of the platinum trophy (one trophy left!) -Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Megaman Legacy Collection Megaman X Legacy Collection Super Mario Maker 2 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ...With the latter two only being occasional, and the former two being games I just bought.
I’ve been playing The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky off and on. For anyone who doesn’t know, this is the first entry in a nine part JRPG series. Each game contributes to the same saga, making it impossible to even skip one part. As daunting as Trails is, I’m glad I gave it a chance. The magic system is unconventional and the localization is very well done.
I've been wanting to get into this franchise, so I'm glad to see support for it. I've been playing Super Mario Odyssey and Paper Mario: The Origami King, and am really enjoying both of them. Odyssey is great because I can take a quick break from work and grab a few moons; helps me focus better.
I've been playing Minecraft a lot lately, mostly vanilla but occasionally I'll fire up the Pixelmon Reforged mod pack.
Oh boy. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1): Been playing this on Twitch for Game Clearing. Its one of the de facto Metroidvanias, and just oozes detail and complexity, there's so much I could just mess around with in this game. Pokémon Colosseum (GCN): Playing on Twitch for a revisit. I missed when Pokémon could have a more serious tone, and felt like more of a challenge. Final Fantasy X (PS2): After getting over Tidus'....Tidusness, its honestly been a pleasant romp through this world and the whole sphere grid system for leveling up. Lunar Knights (DS): A strange mix of vampires, isometric camera, and action rpg gameplay, but honestly good. Has a great soundtrack too. Valkyria Chronicles (NS): Stuck in Chapter 8, but really enjoy the game. Difficulty is quite challenging but the visual style and complexity of its gameplay is very engaging
Despite my Switch sitting there, I felt compelled to revisit my old Wii U and play some unopened games I purchased for cheap that I had laying around. First off, Mighty No. 9. Yes, that one. Honestly, it isn't a bad reskinned Mega Man. It's a fairly solid game. Just wish it brought something more to the table than just more Mega Man. Then, Star Fox Zero. I can say everything I said about Mighty No. 9 to Mega Man as I can Star Fox Zero to Star Fox 64. I will say that the involvement with using the GamePad to aim and fire via motion controls is very interesting, but it's something that I'm going to have to get used to, for sure. And finally, packaged along with Star Fox Zero, you have Star Fox Guard. The best way to describe it is like this. It's Five Nights at Freddy's, with having to switch between different cameras to find the robots, but your cameras get guns and you get to shoot the robots. Makes it a really interesting tower defense game, and probably the superior game of the three I mentioned.
As for myself, I've been playing Arcaea for quite some time. Y'know, that one rhythm game I play along with my Pokemon X challenge run here. I sometimes play it just for fun, though.
I'm still playing my Wii U, and I decided to boot up one of the most unappreciated Lego games, in my opinion; Lego Dimensions. Honestly, despite the fact that this game is a product of the toys-to-life fad, this is one of my favorite games of all time. This is easily one of the most ambitious crossover games of all time, and one of the best crossovers in general honestly, and the writing is so on point that it is almost unreal. Plus, I love that you have to pause playing the game in order to put together another vehicle with physical Lego bricks, that you can then play with yourself in real life as well as in the game. It gives you a sense of satisfaction that is non-existent in most other toy-to-life games such as Skylanders. Also, this is the only game where you can have Wonder Woman going around Green Hill Zone while driving around in a DeLorean. If that doesn't sell you, I don't know what can.
