I'm not really much of an artist, but on occasion I do some drawing or whatnot. I figured I might as well put my Pokémon related stuff here. Right now I only have one picture to put here, though. Spoiler: Pikachu Watercolor Be prepared for a lot of Pikachu on here. It's simple form makes it one of my favorite things to draw.
i was not expecting that lugia when i clicked on the spoiler. it made me laugh. but that pikachu is super cute!
I decided to draw a Wobbuffet today because I felt like it. Here you go. Spoiler: Wobbuffet I've also been experimenting with ways to color things digitally, so I've got a couple colored versions as well. Spoiler: Colorized Spoiler: Digital Redraw
After the resent discovery that the Bulbasaur evolution are toads, I decided to make recolored versions based off of my favorite kind of frog. But then I decided that the color scheme would work better on Greninja instead. Unfortunately, I didn't really have any sprites to work on for it, so I tried to recolor the official artwork instead. Hopefully it didn't turn out too bad. Spoiler: Red-Eyed Tree Greninja
I drew a Mew today, because I felt like it. The page felt kind of empty after drawing the Mew, so I added an abstract background to it to fill up space. After I finished, I decided to make a colorized version, which I decided to make a bit more stylized than the Wobbuffet. Spoiler: Sketch Spoiler: Colorized
I haven't really drawn anything lately, so here's a couple of quick sketches that I made in MS Paint a while ago because I felt like it. Spoiler: Mimikyu This is the Mimikyu that I'm currently using in my avatar. I drew it from memory and later realized that I forgot the eye holes, but just never bothered to go back and add them. Spoiler: Rotom I don't really have anything to say about this other than its a Rotom, also drawn from memory. Spoiler: Pikachu And here we have a Pikachu that I actually just made yesterday. As you can see, I made this one a lot smaller.
I decided to dig out a bunch of old fakemon sketches that I made when I was a kid. These are all from back when Gen 4 was still current (I think they were from between Platinum and HG/SS, but I'm not sure) and most of them aren't exactly good, but I still felt like sharing. Spoiler: Pages 1-5 Spoiler: Pages 6-10 Spoiler: Pages 11-15 Spoiler: Pages 16-18
I decided to start sketching copies of the artwork from Pokémon cards. The results actually turned out fairly nice, so I'm going to go ahead and share them. I don't really have any pictures of the original cards to share but I'll put the names of the cards along with the pictures. I'm also including both my original sketches and colored versions. Spoiler: Sableye (Ancient Origins 44) Spoiler: Deino (Dragons Exalted 93) Spoiler: Voltorb (Shining Legends 30) I might do more of these in the future, so feel free to leave any suggestions/requests for what cards I should draw. I also have a non-Pokémon drawing that I made which I don't really have anywhere else to share so I'll put it here even though this is a Pokémon themed gallery. Spoiler: Princess Zelda
I took a sculpture class not to long ago and made a lot of interesting stuff in it. I've been meaning to share some of my creations and have just now finally gotten around to it. Spoiler: Clay Flute Spoiler: Glass Coaster Spoiler: Glass Plate Spoiler: Glass-Cast Hand Spoiler: Bronze Goomba Spoiler: Skull
I'm pretty sure it is. We made our bronze sculptures by 3D printing models that we pulled off of a website were people can upload models for 3D printing, then used those plastic figures to make the casts to poor the bronze into. I'm pretty sure that the Goomba model I found and used was actually ripped from one of the games. I'm not really sure what caused that chunk from its torso and left foot to be missing, but I'm guessing there was an air bubble must have formed either when the plastic was melted out of the mold or when the mold was filled with bronze.
I drew this picture of Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening as a Great Lord a few weeks. The perspective on her right arm is off because I changed what direction her body was facing about halfway through drawing her by mistake. Other than that I feel like it turned out alright. I really need to start drawing more regularly so that I can actually start improving. I do like how the background turned out on this. Spoiler: Great Lord Lucina I just finished this drawing of Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy yesterday and feel that it turned out alright. I probably should have done a bit more shading, but too late now. I mean, I could go back and add more complex shading to the original drawing, re-scan it and then add color again, but I'm too lazy for that. Spoiler: Rosalina
Oh, wow. It's been almost exactly a year since I last added anything to this gallery. Unfortunately I haven't drawn much in the past year, and I think this is pretty much the only new thing I have: Spoiler: Ball Guy Returns Spoiler: Original Sketch Spoiler: Colored Ball Guy
Spoiler: Hatterene I actually drew this about the same time as the Ball Guy from my last post, but apparently forgot to scan it until after I worked on the next two drawings. Spoiler: Original Spoiler: Gardevoir I felt like drawing a Gardevoir. Not much else to say about this one. Spoiler: Original Spoiler: Charblasaur/OmegaPocketmon/OmniPocketmon I've been brainstorming this one for a while and finally got around to drawing it last week. My main source of inspiration was Omnimon/Omegamon from the Digimon franchise, which it is still heavily based off of in its final design, but reimagined as a fusion of the three fully-evolved Gen I starter Pokémon. I chose to have Venusaur as the right arm, Charizard as the body and Blastoise as the left arm so that they're actually in Pokédex order when you look at it from this angle. The diamond-pattern on the torso is based off of the similar pattern that Gigantamax Charizard has, and the blue color of the spikes are based off of Mega Charizard X. I also used the head designs of Mega Venasaur and Mega Blastoise as I felt that they fit the overall ascetic better than their non-Mega evolved heads would have. I'm actually pretty proud of how this turned out. Spoiler: Original Spoiler: Shaded Spoiler: Colored, no shading
I absolutely love the Omnipocketmon thing. It's great. I admit, when I first saw the design I was reminded of megazords from Power Rangers. After looking at the name though, I instantly saw the Omnimon inspiration. It made me smile.
I've decided to start drawing randomized Pokémon fusions to try and get in the habit of drawing regularly. Here's what I have so far. Spoiler: Speaper (Spearow+Wooper) Spoiler: Fearsire Spoiler: Digglybuff (Alolan Diglet+Igglybuff Spoiler: Dugglypuff (Alolan Dugtrio+Jigglypuff) Spoiler: Dugglytuff (Alolan Dugtrio+Wigglytuff)
