Sporcle.com is a quiz website I like to visit occasionally during my spare time. I recently got into some of the Pokémon quizzes, particularly the ones where you name the monsters from each generation from memory. In this activity, I will be posting my scores periodically (or all at once if I want to). I would also like to see YOUR scores as well! Note: please do not look up Pokémon because that kind of ruins the fun :)

    Gen 1: https://www.sporcle.com/games/g/pokemon?sc=pokemon
    Gen 2: https://www.sporcle.com/games/g/pokemongen2?sc=pokemon
    Gen 3: https://www.sporcle.com/games/g/pokemongen3?sc=pokemon
    Gen 4: https://www.sporcle.com/games/g/pokemongen4?sc=pokemon
    Gen 5: https://www.sporcle.com/games/BluePikmin/pokemongen5?sc=pokemon

    Gen 7: https://www.sporcle.com/games/SparknightSyzygy/name-all-gen-vii-pokemon
    Gen 8: https://www.sporcle.com/games/SparknightSyzygy/can-you-name-the-generation-viii-pokmon

    My scores:
    Gen 1: 129/151
Gen 2: 60/100 (I was having a MASSIVELY hard time with this one)
    Gen 3: 94/135
    Gen 4: 82/107
    Gen 5: 120/156
    Gen 6: 53/72
    Gen 7: 49/88
Gen 8: 28/89 (I remember a lot of the designs but drew total blanks on the names)

Gen 1: I got 129/151! If I were only a bit faster I could've gotten higher, the other mons struck me at the end of the time limit-
Gen 2: 65/100. I don't remember my Gen 2 and it sHOWS. The less birds in there the less I can remember a generation...
Gen 3: 94/135. I went into this one confident. Did not turn out well. I didn't even remember one of my more liked ones... Sob.
    Gen 4: 70/107. Oh no.
Gen 5: 99/156. I went in feeling like I know this one better than at least my last three abysmal ones. That didn't pay out well. Worst part is I know most of the mons I didn't remember. Gahhh...
Gen 6: 57/72. Gen 6 was my first Pokémon gen. I went in thinking "I better be good at this". At least it was a good percentage, but I had previously remembered some of those other mons...
Gen 7: 59/88. One of the more memorable gens to me and my first gen after really knowing Pokémon. Am mad I forgot mons that I literally caught yesterday.
Gen 8: 63/89 Wasn't very familiar with this gen, there were some I acknowledge I would never have guessed, but I forgot quite a few that I really should know.
In conclusion, I have become what I sought to destroy, a Genwunner. Oh no.

It crashed and reloaded twice when I had around 5-6 minutes left. I got to around 110 of gen 1, and I was running low on steam. I'll update this later when I do the other ones

im only doing the ones from the generations i care about (plus a bonus round with my least fave Pokédex lineup)

    scores
hoenn: 119/135!! hoenn is my fave region so im not terribly upset

sinnoh: 83/107 not terrible?? tho i grew up with gen 4 so ouch

kalos: 52/72 okay but they didnt give me enough time on this one. shoutout to my brain thinking about all the Pokémon in the anime and me screaming "PEROREAM PEROREAM" when trying to remember what slurpuffs english name was. i did not remember in time but im giving it to myself anyway because i merely remembered the existence of slurpuff but was too dumb to remember its name. 53/72

AND JUST FOR FUN I DECIDED TO DO THE REGION WITH MY LEAST FAVE Pokédex!! unova gets a 77/156

    Aight, let's see....

Gen I: 150/151 (Forgot the Tongue)
Gen II: 95/100 (Couple of normies)
Gen III: 129/135 (Normies, clay dolls and a goblin)
Gen IV: 101/107 (Dang normies, cherries and a venus flytrap)
Gen V: 150/156 (Darn, so close)
Gen VI: 69/72 (Cthulu and Pikachu knockoff)
Gen VII: 85/88 (Sand and a cucumber)

All things considered, pretty damn solid.

Oh, geeze. I really sucked at this. I thought I'd start with gen 4, because that anime series is one of my absolute favorites, so I thought I might remember more.
    38%...how pathetic.
I tried gen 1, just to see how well I might do. 63%. Still kinda terrible. I could envision two Pokémon, but couldn't think of their names for the life of me. I remembered the names for three more Pokémon, but couldn't figure out how to spell them. I tried so many different ways.
