Everyone here would know what a webtoon is. Which one's your favorite? Why? Has any of the webtoons that you read or had read once, ever made into an actual anime? What's your favorite genre? Are you a webtoon artist yourself? Or ever planning to be one?
Ive seen the ads but I can't say I ever got to reading them. Curious to see if others have though! Always up to read interesting web comics.
I've read a lot of Webtoons. They're pretty great. Uhhh, my favourite would have to be either UnOrdinary or something that Merryweatherey wrote/drew. Merryweatherey's webtoons are always pretty great, and UnOrdinary is great. Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is also nice, and Sweet Home was a nice read which spooked me a lot. I've also been reading God of Highschool, though I haven't caught up yet. In the Bleak Midwinter is also turning out pretty great. And Watermelon is nice. I'll stop with the favourites there, otherwise this post'll become pretty long. My favourite genre would probably have to be Fantasy or Comedy, but Action/Adventure is pretty great as well. I don't have the drawing skill to become a Webtoon artist, so that's a no.
I have little experience with webtoons, but me favourite so far is Hetalia; love how the creator made the countries' human personifications interact with each other~
Speaking of webtoons, my favorites three are Noblesse, Refund High School, and Emmy the Robot. Dunno why, but those three are fun to read.
When it comes down to webtoons Unordinary is one of the best ones I have read and I can easily recommend Dream Constellation on webtoons as well, especially for the good story so far. Now as far as being a writer I could do that but my skills in the drawing are sub par at best so as a hobby it's fine.
So far, my favorite webtoon has to be Sweet home. I enjoy thriller comics and if someone has a recommendation in that genre, please tell me.
Sooooo, Sweet Home just got a live action adaptation!! I've only watched two episodes so far, but I've to say it's amazing! I really recommend to watch it if you're looking for a new Netflix show to watch.
I was first introduced to Webtoon by my friend introducing me to A Budgie's Life! It's one of my all-time favourites. It's always nice to see some good ol' bird content out there. My favourite genre has to be comedy - I'm really not a fan of romance or over-the-top drama, especially when it gets too serious. Just Pancakes is probably among my favourite Webtoons - short summary: Wizard brothers who do magic and cooking (called foogic) and run a tavern get into shenanigans. The aforementioned A Budgie's Life is also great, and I particularly enjoyed AXED as well - although among all the comedy it's a little hard to keep up with the plot at times. Both AXED and A Budgie's Life ended, by the way.
I know my friend reads them, but I don't... I don't think it's a webtoon but I do remember reading a web comic one time about a cat named Katia (that's about all I remember of it)
I love webtoons, and 1 I used to read (But stopped ) has been made into a korean drama. 1 I didn't read but heard of is tower of god and a other one. As for reading, I read a bunch of them. My fluffy boyfriend See you in my 19th life The witch and the bull Mage and demon queen It's mine I love yoo My giant nerd boyfriend Hero killer (At the beginnign) My deepest secret The advanced player of the tutoral tower Micro hunter Clowns Joke Bloodrain Valravn (SHe is remaking this one) Stalker x Stalker (Short but fun) Boyfriend of the dead (Not update to read( Uriah He's harmless I swear (Done but so good) Sweet Home (That is the one from the Kdrama, I stopped reading but now I can't find where it is, once or twice a day to read the story now, no longer full free) My daughter is a zombie (Done but amazing) Let's play (Not yet continued) Play dead Bastard (Done and whoa) Killer preschooler (Confusing but great) Wake Me up (Been awhile since the update) so yeah I read a couple of them haha but all are very good
If you're into thriller/apocalyptic stories, there's this webtoon called Homesick. Might I add, the art is so good
One of my best friends sent me a few of them he thought I would like so sometime later today I am probably going to check them out.
