On the off chance that you've never heard this term, pseudo legendary is the name fans have given to describe a specific kind of Pokémon that appears in every generation. These Pokémon, usually but not always dragon-types, are part of a three-stage line that can generally only be encountered in the later parts of the game and are strong enough to rival actual legendary Pokémon when they reach their final form. This exclusive club currently consists of Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, Metagross, Garchomp, Hydreigon, Goodra, Kommo-o and Dragapult. i don't know about this region much and what it's based off. but an idea of a pencil evoline popped into my head. it doesn't have to be the pseudo tho-

As for types I don't think we need to stick to dragons, not all pseudos were dragons (like your namesake). So all types welcome! Quote from the link above: "Different tribes have different names for it but it is supposed to have the head of a panther and the body of a dragon with scales and dagger like spine. It is supposed to guard the copper that is found in that area and if anyone tries to take away the copper as happened in the 1840’s they face a horrible death through accidents and sinking of ships." Some sort of big cat Pokémon that revolves around punishing thieves and perhaps avarice in general. I am imagining a dark navy fur with copper pipped paws. Perhaps Water/Steel?
enters the thread to throw a half baked concept doodle at u Spoiler not sure if this is a final evo?? it doesnt have a name either but its a Pokémon based on the underwater panther i guess...... sorry if it looks too cute im cursed with drawing things that are cute. i also semi based some of its design off of sirens..... now some world building because i love worldbuilding lol it guards the lake it lives in and aggressively attacks those it finds unwelcome and it can intimidate foes by flaring out the flexible scales on its back to look like wings, and the edges of its scales are sharper than knives. when dealing with thieves and those it protects its lake from, it will often wear mementos of its battles, and the Pokémon with the most mementos is considered the leader of the group. despite its dangerous reputation, it cares for those who use its lake for good and it uses its loud singing voice to guide ships to safety on foggy nights. it has vicious fights with other lake dwelling Pokémon like milotic and even gyarados
Oooh that would make for a perfect first stage I think. Perhaps these pre-evos would stalk the unwelcomed ships, flagging them to the big mama last stage for destruction. They would of course help themselves to scraps of loot either before or after it is sunk.
