So, today, while my mom took one of our cats to the vet, I went into the Game Craze next door, and wandered in it for a bit. While I was there, I saw the most expensive game being sold I've ever seen. ....It was a normal cartridge of Superman 64 priced at $9999.99. Might of been priced at that to discourage people from buying it. I just laughed, and just kept wandering until my mom was done at the vet. What game have you saw being sold at ridiculous prices?
The most expensive game I've seen irl was a used copy of Xenogears for $175. As for online the highest I saw was $250 for Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. It's amazing how expensive niche JRPGs can become.
I just saw something on ebay the other day that outdid the last one I posted here in both price and hilarity. a $20,000 fangame on cartridge with it's own case. Said case was NSFW and so badly designed that it just made the already rediculous price tag more so
VR-CPR ($119.99) on steam is the most expensive game I have witnessed so far! I don't really browse too much but I was so shocked when I saw this price tag.
