Group RP Pokemon Legends: The Dragon Pearls and the White Ghost (IC thread)

Aaron and Taiko nod in understanding. They're ready for this quest. Shortly after, Taiko goes outside to check on Mosugaba, who is still afraid he'll accidentally hurt someone. [Mosugaba, we're going on a quest to find dragon pearls that are somewhere in Hisui. Don't worry about Golden Delphox. She's a human like Pearl Deerling. I don't know if she has a Delphox, but I'm sure it won't attack us,] Taiko assures the Mosunou. [Are you sure, Taiko? I don't want to hurt you, Belle, or Jun with my icy scales, and I'm worried that if there's a battle, my Blizzard attack will hit one of you,] says Mosugaba, trilling nervously.

 

While Nagisa's question was more about the less-than-noble sects out there, Sage Rowan's advice about the Guardian Spirits was much appreciated. It did go in line with Pearl Deerling's ki sensing earlier:

The brunet was about to say "Thank you" when his blonde comrade interjected, "How about those bad sects?"

Ah, right, Nagisa thought, then signed what Fumiko was about to ask, "Any particularly dangerous ones out there?"

Fumiko's Pokémon, meanwhile, decided to walk out because their fellow Pokémon had already done so.

Seems like Taiko's little chat with Mosugaba happened within Emina's earshot. The Frosmoth looked awfully nervous there. [At least you can direct your Blizzard, right?] Emina asked the Frost Moth Pokémon. [You should've seen me doing Blizzard. I missed my targets all the time,] she chimed in. But then...

[Did you actually sketch someone's Blizzard?] a certain Decidueye caught her off guard. [Welp, Skitty's outta bag,] the Smeargle sheepishly admitted. [I did overwrite it with something else tho.]

[Worrying about your Blizzard, eh?] Luchabull went up to Mosugaba in the meantime. [No worries. Even if you do attack us, we still have a trick called dodging, right?] he winked at the grass-types which was replied by Junaiper's nod in agreement.

 

[Thanks, everyone,] Mosugaba says. [I'll do my best to not hit you, even though Blizzard normally hits everyone.] He's feeling a bit better about himself and his abilities. He happily trills, laughing when Emina said she constantly missed her Blizzard attacks. [Sorry about that, Emina. I didn't mean to be rude. I just found the fact that you constantly missed a bit funny, and I apologize if you took offense,] the Mosunou says after correcting his rather rude behavior. [Did you train the accuracy before you overwrote it?] Taiko asks the Dōburu curiously.

 

[Nah. I'm good, really,] Emina brushed Mosugaba's apparent rudeness aside (pun not really intended). [Just not that patient with it,] she added. That's why I sketched Freeze-Dry over Blizzard back then.

 

(Shadow Star? Sounds familiar...)

After assuring Mosugaba, he and Taiko go back inside, only to hear Sage Rowan inform everyone about this 'Beguiling Star Sect'. Mai and Aaron nod in understanding. [Hai, Sage Nanakamado-sama!] Aaron says. "Sage Nanakamado-sama, what if they attack us instead of the other way around?" asks Mai, curious.

 

Now that Mosugaba and Taiko went back inside, the trio headed their own ways. Emina went to follow the Gekkou duo, Junaiper stealthily followed Emina from afar, and Luchabull went back inside (though the last one was at Junaiper's order as evidenced by a [Yes, sir!] from the Wrestling Pokémon).

The first thing Luchabull heard as soon as he went back inside was Sage Rowan warning everyone of the Beguiling Star Sect. That, and he heard his human responding to Mai with "Defend ourselves, duh!" Nagisa seemed to agree with Fumiko for this one but with his own way to express it: holding a paintbrush in one hand and his "combat canvas" (an empty scroll designed for a painter's battling prop) in another.

 

(That's very cool. I meant that the term "Shadow Star" seemed familiar to me because it's a vehicle in Kirby Air Ride.)

 

(Can you put that also in the OOC thread? Also, I do have a soft spot for Mars haha)

Kotone didn’t have the faintest idea that a long conversation was going on inside and that Makoto, bored, had walked back in to listen on what was going on. While Kotone and Belle waited outside, they had no idea a certain Smeargle was checking on them too.

As for Makoto, he quietly stood at the back, listening on details of the quest to information on the sect.

 

"I guess... that's all from me," Fumiko went business mode again. "Any other ques-- tions?" her voice trailed off upon noticing Luchabull and Makoto going back inside. Nagisa immediately shook his head and looked at whoever's present. Luchabull, meanwhile, tilted his head as he didn't even know what to ask.

“Oh, gomenasai,” Makoto apologized, noticing Fumiko’s surprised look. “No, I’m good. I’ll just brief Kotone when she gets back. Seems she out in her own world.”

And the said redhead was wondering where everyone was. It seemed she had quite forgotten that she was the only one (plus Belle) who stepped out and thought Makoto and the others were following her. Why, not even Makoto was around! Which sent her into a slight panic.

Whereas Belle was frantically trying to explain to Kotone that everyone was still inside.

[Seriously now,] Emina muttered to herself, then told Kotone with both Poke-talk and slowed down signing, [Everyone's still inside and you're missing out a lot of things.] I mean, the Smeargle could've painted her speeches, but she couldn't find any mediums where she could safely paint without having her "works" deemed as vandalism. Plus, all of the canvases were with Nagisa, so...

When Kotone caught wind that Emina was around and had laid out what had happened, she puffed her cheeks. "Seriously?! Why am I always the one left out?"

"It would be easier if you could sit still," Makoto muttered, surprising Kotone instantly. He reappeared back outside. "We're ready to head out." At first Kotone blushed, since Makoto caught her off guard. Now she jumped forward and hugged Makoto tightly.

"Mako! I've missed you!"

Makoto sighed, with his only reaction being "...", and Belle - thankful that Emina was around to save her breath - also sighed deeply.

 

Fumiko, Nagisa, and Luchabull went outside alongside Makoto after thanking Sage Rowan. While the Gekkou duo were having their own banter, Emina tackle-hugged her human right away. [Nii-chan, are we running outta canvas?] she squeaked. To Nagisa, it means that Emina couldn't find anywhere to paint without vandalizing wherever she's currently at. "Sorry!" the brunet mentally cursed himself for not realizing it sooner. "We're gonna go to Celebration Village. I'll get you a Smeargle-sized one there, okay?" he assured his Smeargle via sign, to which she nodded in response.

(That said, I believe we're all ready to move on.)
