Ask a Metaphorical Duck Anything

Drawing. I do it obsessively when there's nothing to do and that's a lot of the time. The best time to do it is at school.

 

On paper, just normal pencil and paper. I really like using mechanical papers but I feel like wooden pencils just have an aesthetic to them when you look at it.
On digital I use PaintToolSAI (or just SAI for short). My favorite pen is probably the default marker or a modified pencil to look more like a pencil. I know there is a way to install more brushes but I still haven't figured it out yet. I'd really like to put things like tones in my sketches for fun...

 

Cha Siu Bao. My gramma makes them a lot and it's always so yummy when we get to eat them.
We don't usually make them ourselves, but when we make them ourselves we make it it's always the steamed version as seen in the image above.

The baked version as seen over in this image is the kind gramma usually makes. Both are super yummy! It's like, both sweet and savory and fluffy mianbao too!

first thing that came to mind is to voice over something of my own creation. Or if I ever built up the energy to make an animatic, I would cover the song with my own voice.

Not quite 100% sure what this means because niche is such a weird word for me. But if you’re asking about a comfort anime, Acchi Kochi and Pet Gril of Sakurasou.

 

At first it was gonna be Nirane (pronounce nigh-rain). But for some reason I just wasn’t happy. But I was at a loss. So I look toward my favorite characters. My hyperfixation at the time was fire emblem (yes I’m one of those people who actually like the games for what they are we do exist) and the divine dragon Tiki came to mind! So I put ‘Tiki’ at the beginning…. But I just wanted to get naming over with so I just threw ‘tak’ in at the end. Hence creating Tikitak! And it just stuck to this day.
