I really have no preference as to when the play happens, so long as I don't hijack the plot, and we finally see Maya achieve her dream of a lead role.

Haha! I haven't revealed it yet, but since you're asking... I did finish a sketch for it!

(BTW, his height does not account for any hair volume - that can add like 1-1.5 extra centimeters.)

It's still not colored (I swear I don't have a favourite child), but I imagine shades of chartreuse and lime, plus some black as either the jacket or the pants colors, maybe with some yellow accents. And if the outfit gives off more of a hip-hop rather than rock vibe, that's just what happens. I wanted to design something a fifteen-year-old guy would reasonably wear, and Tamal would feel most comfortable in something easy to move in, in case he comes across a routine requiring more athletic prowess.

As for where this comes from in-universe, I don't have a brand in particular, to be honest, just general vibes. Maybe Heavenly Phoenix for the hooded tank top, if not something he sourced from his own closet? There's a bit of a fire motif going on there. As for the jacket or jeans, I have no clue. (The sneakers are probably just something he owns.) But hey, it can just be brandless, or something new.

Hey, just to check in with everyone -
For the final verse (V7/Pre-chorus) do you think it would actually be better to have everyone share that section (sans Nora, who is descant-ing with the violin)? Or would y'all prefer it be Alex's solo?

 

I'd say it should be better off as an Alex solo, then everyone else (again, sans the descant-ing Nora) can join in the last chorus.

The decision is for arc reasons, just to clear that up haha. This concert might put some more introspective thoughts in Alex's mind.

I have some plans for both her and Tamal to maybe tap into or confront their own problems (those ones covered in the plot conflicts/embarrassing secrets), if that's okay with everyone? Maybe not quite overcoming them, either. Depends.
