3DS themes

    from October and on we should all be able to install themes on our 3DS. Icon's will appear differently and a new background will be added. you will be able to buy themes in the E-store, the price have yet to be stated

    what are you guys thoughts on this?
    I think it's cool we can get themes but I think it sucks that we will have to pay for them. I would like it better if it could follow with your purchased game, but so far it doesn't sound like that would be the case

    Yaaay. Talk about coincidence. I was trying to find out just last week if I could somehow modify my 3DS to display cool themes. Luckily Nintendo's actually planning on doing it on their own. But yeah, it would still suck if we have to pay for them. I wouldn't mind if they were like 20 cents each though, cuz that's how much money I have left in my e-Shop balance xD

    if they were super cheap I wouldn't mind either, but my experience is that they usually ain't. ):

    Shame they don't offer a way to make your own. Like a piece of eShop software (even if it's a paid one!) that lets you create some...

    I really like the themes! I currently have the Pokémon Omega Ruby/ Alpha Sapphire theme installed. I love how it has custom music and the background somewhat changes as you move across your screen.
