I write 5 chapter long books from time to time, and by the 3rd chapter I get this feeling that no-one will get the book, I'll look like a buffoon, now, this has happened to me before so it just makes me even more conscious and I never write it the same way again, I find it hard to write and I deviate, next thing I know, I'm writing a monotype post! Have you encountered this? if so, how have you dealt with it?

I'm not a particularly active writer, and even when I do write I only tend to do short pieces. Regardless, I'll try my hand at helping.
Maybe try planning each chapter before writting anything? That way you can have something exciting planned for later in the story that will keep you interested and hopefully keep your style steady. A technique professionally apparently use is not writing chronologically. Of course, this would interfere with updates of an ongoing story. You could finish writing the whole thing before posting to fix that problem, which would allow you to have consistent update times. You could work on your next piece while you're updating the previous one, keeping on top of everything.
If you read around you're sure to find something that will help you out! Good luck with it uvu

I plan out my ENTIRE BOOK most times, I found out that a good way to do it is to listen to a certain persuasive song that may or may not be off kid Icarus uprising (again)

Magnus' theme!! its an inspiring theme which has kept me going through the worst of it, although, your suggestion for keeping on top of it has worked out brilliantly, I'm really proud of the structure of my short story and you've helped me out with that, thank you!
