So as fortune has it I may be getting a 3DS (or a 2DS most likely) sooner than I thought. I've never used one but as far as I know to buy things from the shop you need to get credit on some sort of account with Nintendo. I may be wrong, if I am, please clarify for me. What I was wondering mainly was, does it require a credit card only, or can Pay-Pal be used?

Very good question. But I think you can only use Credit Cards to purchase points. You can also use Gift Cards from your local store too. I usually prefer that method over using my credit cards. I could be wrong, but I've never seen Pay Pal as a method of payment for anything. :(

Oh, gift cards, excellent. I didn't even consider they had those. I'll look into what sort of increments they come in. I mainly just want to get the Pokémon bank which is a very cheap annual fee, and possibly Dream Radar. Thanks.

Yeah, I always buy the gift cards. Pretty much any store that sells video games will have them.
