If this goes in the wrong place, sorry o.o"" But anyways, I was playing PMD: Gates to Infinity(Almost done with it now), which I must say has a great storyline and graphics for it are amazing. So, I kept thinking of how the 6th generation one would be like. What do you guys think? I think if they did what they did in Gates to Infinity, then I think it could turn out to be a great game.

To be honest, I have a feeling the PMD series might stop. After Gates to Infinity it was clear they weren't able to make a proper post game for it so I'm not sure how they would develop a newer game. After all, there's only so much you can do with the same repeated storyline, where as the main series at least has quite a few new elements and a whole new region to explore.

Personally I HOPE they stop making them, unless they redeem themselves with some super amazing one for 6th gen. Gates to Infiniy was very very lacking compared to Explorers of Sky (except for graphics), and if the 6th gen one is going to be as poopy, I personally won't buy it, and I don't even know if it'd be worth it to make another if it's going to be on the same level as Gates to Infinity. If they can make a great one for Gen 6, with MUCH more of a post game than Gates to Infinity, MUCH more Pokémon to recruit (you could recruit every single Pokémon in Explorers of Sky, so I'd expect at least close to that), and a beautiful storyline as all the games have had, then I'd be very very happy with another Mystery Dungeon. Explorers of Sky is my favorite game ever and seeing a Gen 6 Mystery Dungeon as vast and magical as that one would be just perfect.

If not... they should just stop. :\

I think a new PMD is possible since it seems that the game series appears to be doing, okay. I haven't played the newest PMD but from what I hear, it was too much talk and not enough action. And I am not sure how well it did compared to its predecessors. So, I am not putting money on the table and getting my hopes up for a possible new PMD. If they do make one, they probably need to review their previous games, see what was good and what was bad on it. Then improve on it. Maybe even bring in more Pokémon to choose from, rather than the starters.

But this is coming from a person who has only played only one PMD game (never finished it because I grew bored with it) and have only seen videos of the newest one. (which didn't impress me much either :c )

I hope the Mystery Dungeon series redeems itself after Gates to Infinity. I like the series, but Infinity really defeated the purpose, especially having such an op character pretty much from the start. I'm hoping that they make a Gen 6 mystery dungeon game, and a decent one with ever single Pokémon recruitable instead of mostly just the new Pokémon.

I just wonder how mega evolutions would work in the PMD series.

I agree with everything said here. I wasn't a fan of Gates to Infinity at all. The story line just wasn't as good to me. Other Mystery Dungeon games had more surprises, Gates to Infinity was much more predictable. It really took away from the game. If they were to make a new one that had amazing reviews, I'd still be skeptical on whether or not I should actually play.

I'm sure it will happen whether we like it or not. I'd say it's probably the best spinoff Pokémon game series.

I haven't played the latest and I'm a bit hesitant to do so, with all the talk of it lacking a lot compared to its predecessors. But I really really really LOVE the PMD spinoff so I really do hope they can make a new one with gen6. Sky was really the best. No doubt.
