A Very Merry Spriting Contest!​

Hello everyone! TheBlazingInfernape here, and with permission from @[member="ShiroKyun"], I am pleased and excited to announce that I will be hosting a spriting contest for this Christmas! My 1 year anniversary is Saturday and I feel like it'd be a cool idea to hold a contest of a form of art that I personally love doing. Plus I won the spriting challenge in October so I feel like I'd pass the torch for holding one.

The Contest.​

There are 25 categories (25 days of Christmas! LOLOLOLOL).​

There will be 10 Easy, 10 Medium and 5 Hard categories.​

You may only have one entry to a category, BUT you can change the entry at will.​

Rules:​

1. No copying of another persons sprite. This will lead to disqualification in the contest.​

2. You cannot use the same sprite in 2 categories. This will lead to disqualification as well.​

3. Make sure to have TONS OF FUN DOING THIS!​

The Categories:​

Easy (10)
Simple things that almost any spriter can do.
1. Create a self sprite (Scratch allowed)
2. Create a Christmas Fakemon sprite (Scratch allowed)
3. Make a Pokémon look festive (Scratch allowed)
4. Recolor a Pokémon sprite (Scratch not allowed)
5. Create an Ice type sprite (Scratch allowed)
6. Make a sprite of me! (Infernape must be used and Scratch is allowed)
7. Revamp an old Pokémon sprite (Gameboy Color Pokémon Sprites with updated colors of said Pokémon) (Scratch not allowed)
8. Fuse a Pokémon with Delibird (Scratch allowed)
9. Make a Pokémon look frozen (Scratch allowed)
10. Overshade a Pokémon.
Medium (10)
May require some skill as a spriter but not too much
11. Fuse your self sprite with my self sprite. (Must do Categories 1 and 6 to do and Scratch is allowed)
12. Make a Mega Evolution of your self sprite (Must do Category 1 to do and Scratch is allowed)
13. Make a Scratch sprite (Only Scratch)
14. Make a Mega Evolution of my self sprite. (Must do Category 6 and Scratch is allowed)
15. Devamp a Pokémon sprite (Make a Gen 3,4 or 5 Pokémon look like it's from a Gameboy Color Pokémon game) (Scratch is allowed)
16. Reposition a Pokémon's pose. (Scratch allowed)
17. Make a trainer sprite. (Scratch allowed)
18. Create an Ice type legendary Fakemon. (Scratch allowed)
19. Create a new Mega Evolution. (Scratch allowed)
20. Create a 3 line evolution for an Ice type Fakemon. (Scratch allowed)
Hard (5)
Advanced stuff that I probably couldn't do well.
21. Fuse your Mega Evolved self sprite with my Mega Evolved self sprite (Must do Categories 11 and 12 and Scratch is allowed)
22. Make a sprite using 15 Ice types. (No Scratch)
23. Make a God sprite. (Look at ArctusDragon's Youtube Channel for this, Basically it is fusing all Pokémon of a single type, all ice, dragon etc.) (Scratch Allowed)
24. Make a sprite of a fellow Valorian. (You need their permission first, You cannot do me and no scratch)
25. Make a mega evolution of your entry for Category 24. (Scratch allowed.)

Just forgot to put in the prizes XD. The winner of each category can request a sprite that is made by yours truly. It can be ANYTHING!

 

@[member="✯Ho-OhLugia✯"], NO GOD NO! You don't have to do all the categories! That is just silly and insane XD! Yes I will extend the due date to the 15th of January.
