"Wing Attack!" yelled Emily, as the white bird soared in towards the Marshtomp. "Water Gun!" replied the other Trainer, whose Pokémon proceeded to disrupt Wingull's attack and send it off course. (I'll be gone for a long time after today, so apologies for that!)
Espeon had to dodge everytjme delcatty attacked. "We need an opening" Serena thought (Alriggti hope for a nice time
(Hi! Don’t mind me, just sneaking back in.) “An opening? I think I can do that! Supersonic!” countered Emily as her Wingull unleashed several circles of sound energy, piercing through the water and flying at the Marshtomp. Although it hit, Wingull’s attack was too weak to do any good damage.
"Espeon. Psywave" Espeon tried to attack again and finally hit the delcatty hurting jt badly (Heyy than)
“Nice job!” replied Emily. “Now, Water Gun!” Wingull let out a blast of water, super effective against the ground-type fish - albeit not very strong. It responded with a Water Gun of its own.
Espeon jumped back when the Delcatty wanted to attack again. She send another psywave and the Delcatty lay defeated next to his trainer. ''Great job Espeon.''S erena said happy
“Nice!” Emily’s Wingull used Water Gun after Water Gun, trying to stop the Marshtomp from being able to attack. Slowly, it began to lose HP.
“Water Gu-“ Emily was cut off by the Marshtomp unleashing a bright attack on Wingull, damaging it heavily. The other trainer grinned. “Bide is a very special move. Your Wingull is good as gone,” he smirked as the little bird fluttered to the ground.
“Good as gone? Huh, you’re cockier than I thought,” snapped Emily as the Marshtomp leered at her. As a last desperate tactic, she called for another Supersonic, then a Water Gun, hoping the final attack would be faster than its Bide.
The opposing Marshtomp released a Bide, stronger than ever before, but Emily yelled an incoherent command and colorful circles flew towards the Marshtomp, clashing with its attack and causing smoke to cover the arena. As it cleared, two Pokémon stood up for a moment or two, before both crashed to the floor. “Hmph. Type advantage,” muttered the boy as he brought the Marshtomp back into its ball. “Next! Show me your other Pokémon and explain why you started with something that’s just barely level 10 or so.”
Serena stood before Emily. ''She is just a beginner trainer. What do you expect.'' She crossed her arms. ''Even so, she still make up to a tie. So she isn't s bad at all.'' The boy who battled Serena rolled his eyes. ''Big mouth for a big girl.''
The other boy near him laughed. “You tell her! Now, Dustox! Go!” A lilac moth flew from the Pokéball he had flung. Emily gripped her own ball tightly. “Torchic! You can do this!”
“Start with Gust!” yelled the other Trainer as his Dustin began to blow powerful waves of wind at the little chick. Emily groaned, but held calm. “Sand-Attack!”
(im very sorry i forgot reply) Espeon had sat down and watched the battle. ''Use Ember soon'' Serena said or more screamed
The sand flew all over the arena, as bost Pokémon went hidden. From the back, a small blast of flame spurted out from the sand, then another, and another, until the sand cleared, the Dustox angrily using Poison Sting as Torchic skipped back and forth, dodging frantically.
