Still sitting behind the others, he was forced to stop since the others were checking if it was safe to move out. "So... is it safe?" Chronos asked the others.
"Thank Arceus." Dani murmurs, "Again. Is there any way we can move a little faster? No pressure or anything."
Dani was right, they had to get moving. Their parents where god knows where, and they got to get moving before something happens. There was one problem though... "Umm, guys... Where exactly are we?" Chronos asked, looking around the room.
Following his gaze, Dani frowns, "I don't know." she admits, "Maybe another part of the base? But if that was the case, won't there be more guards here? Maybe it's another building entirely."
"Doubt it. If they have a tunnel connected to their base, then why would they connect it to another builing." Chronos pointed out. "Although, the posibility of this being another building is thill there. But maybe this is just anouther room?"
"Well whatever it is, we should keep moving." Dani says, nervously looking around, "I want to get as far away from those people as possible."
Serching around the room, Chronos spotted an iron door. It was big, and looked like it lead to somewhere important. Walking up to the door, he looked back at the others. "You guys ready?" He asked his companions.
(not gonna lie, I was expecting for someone else to open the door. I had no idea on what to make the next room.) Opening the door, Chronos braced himself for a bunch of guards to begin chasing them, but instead, he found a quiet and empty hallway. The hallway was dimly lit, and it was a straight forward path with a few door on the walls.
Dani follows behind, glancing behind them to make sure they weren't being followed. As far as she could see, the guards hadn't caught up to them.
Chronos followed Dani from behind, looking back every once in a while just to make sure they arent being followed. "So, where do you think these doors will lead?" Chronos asked the others.
"Since it looks like we're not being chased anymore." Dani says, "We might have time to explore to see where these doors lead."
