    [background=transparent]A Reaper's Game[/background]

    [background=transparent]Of Stories and Background Information[/background]
    [background=transparent]Lilycove city, one of the most massive, if not the most massive, city in all of Hoenn. Trainers from around the world tend to gather here, either to launch themselves into the challenges of Hoenn, to sightsee, or to participate in the Contests. One attraction that many don't know about, however, is the [/background][background=transparent]Reaper's Game.[/background][background=transparent] To join the Reaper's Game, all participants meet an untimely death, and are chosen by the Reapers if they can play or not. Not every kid who dies young gets a second shot at life, so not only are the players carefully chosen, but they are forced to give up something of themselves, an [/background][background=transparent]Entry Fee[/background][background=transparent], that they value the most. [/background]

    [background=transparent]This game forces people to go beyond their walls and their comfort zones. Everyone who plays keeps only one member of their Pokémon team, but must team up with another Player. Each pair then runs through the Game for a week; the pair who racks up the most points by the end of the game is given a second chance at life, their entry fee restored, and their on their merry way in the land of the living. Those who are unfortunate enough to not get the most points are given an offer of becoming a Reaper, the ones who run the game. Reapers do try to erase players from existence, as that is how they live. If they run out of points, they in turn are erased. Reapers summon [/background][background=transparent]Noise[/background][background=transparent], which are Pokémon like creatures who go out and try and erase the players, since Reapers aren't allowed to directly interact with players. Though, on the seventh day, the [/background][background=transparent]Game Master[/background][background=transparent], the Reaper who is running the game for the week, as well as all other Reapers are given full ability to go out and attack.[/background]

    [background=transparent]Reapers treat players good, however. Sleep and hunger needs are completely frozen. Players temporarily "sleep" between missions. Missions are given out as text-like messages, sent out on any electronic that is well used in the Pokémon world (Pokegear, Pokenav, ect). These are sent out by the [/background][background=transparent]Game Master[/background][background=transparent], who decides every aspect of the Game during their week. They decide pretty much everything, from the players in their week to the missions to where Reapers are placed daily, to how many points each partnership has, anything that affects the game, the GM decides. The only thing they do not have influence over is who the Players partner with, and which Players survive from day to day. If a Player becomes a Reaper, they get their [/background][background=transparent]Entry Fee[/background][background=transparent] returned in partial. If your memories got taken away, you'll get back the most important, character defining ones, but not all the important or character defining ones.[/background]

    [background=transparent]One thing that all Players must understand, beyond the rules, is that they're [/background][background=transparent]dead.[/background][background=transparent] They can't talk to the living, can't interact with the living, they are stuck. They are stuck in a place called the Underground (UG), where the only ones who can even think of acknowledging them are other Players and the Reapers. Players who won the Game may think of the Game, but they cannot interact with the current Players. Reapers have this easier, however, as they can change their [/background][background=transparent]Frequency[/background][background=transparent], and change between the two realms. Reapers are required to report to the UG during Game Time, however.[/background]

    [background=transparent]You, either as a Player or a Reaper, are to take part in this week's Game. Good luck![/background]

    [background=transparent]Things to know for your Game Experience.[/background]

    [background=transparent]This Game takes place during one of the times of the year in which Lilycove is most populated by trainers, allowing for easy, not noticeable deaths.[/background]

    [background=transparent]Prior to death, many of the Players have seen a strange hooded man, either just seen him, talked to him, bumped into him; just in some way, shape, or form, noticed him. He is the GM for that person's Week, which everyone signing up will be in.[/background]

    [background=transparent]Players can have any sort of Pokémon with them, so long as it is not a legendary. Shinnies are extremely limited (I'm allowing one), however slight color changes are allowed. (Charizard is a darker color than sprite/artwork, but not black). Players' Pokémon are not Noise. They are regular Pokémon, allowed within the rules previously described.[/background]

    [background=transparent]Battles will be handled like double battles, both partners fighting whatever at a time. You are allowed to initiate your own Noise Battle, which are basically just like wild Pokémon battles, though with 1-5 Noise. Just about any common Pokémon can be found as noise; powerful ones only come from Reapers and can only be generated by the Reapers. Remember, your HP bar is tied to your Pokémon's, so when your Pokémon gets knocked out, you are too.[/background]

    [background=transparent]If this RP somehow gets to the end of the week and winners are picked, we'll start again with a clean slate, if there's enough interest. You can use your Reaper characters, but you'll need a new Player.[/background]

    [background=transparent]There will only be 1 GM (Me), 2 Officers [Positions filled!], 5 Harriers, and the rest are base Reapers. If you know about the game this is based off of, The World Ends With You, you're can be an Officer or a Harrier. If not, it's on a first come, first serve basis. Though, if you sign up later and know of the game even if the positions are filled, I'll extend the numbers and let you join as one if you want.[/background]

    [background=transparent]Questions Asked Frequently[/background]
    [background=transparent]Will Players fight each other?[/background]
    [background=transparent]No. Players don't fight each other. They form their partnerships, and then they can work in slightly larger groups. Though, the larger groups will not get the same point spread as a partnership would. If A, B, C, and D were all players, and A and B were a partnership and C and D were a partnership, and all four hang out together but A+B do most of the work, they'll get the most points.[/background]

    [background=transparent]What's this point thing?[/background]
    [background=transparent]Points are monitored by the GM. The better you do on a mission, the more points you get. Reapers lose points over time of not killing players. For this, feel free to make up NPC character to keep your Reaper going. Players get two special points, each one grants immunity to a knockout. Get knocked out three times, and you're done and your partner better hope to the all mighty GM that there's another solo player running around out there, or else they get erased too. Noise is the main why you lose points, while completing missions grants you points. You don't need to fully complete a mission to get points, but it'll get you the most. So if you tag along a partnership that does all the work and you snipe the final step, they'll get the most points, but you'll get some too.[/background]

    [background=transparent]How can I heal?[/background]
    [background=transparent]You'll heal automatically between missions. Items are not a thing, unless required by a mission, in which case you'll find them in a garbage can or something dumb like that. So be careful when you pick your battles, you never know how long a day will last, as it lasts as long as a mission lasts.[/background]

    [background=transparent]Can't I just buy things?[/background]
    [background=transparent]No. You cannot enter buildings unless they're specially marked for that mission. You'll know when you can go into a building, in which case you'll only be able to interact with a certain person who'll give you that item you need.[/background]

    [background=transparent]How do I get battles started?[/background]
    [background=transparent]Noise take a generic, floaty icon form. You see them since you're dead, and they tend to gather around living people full of ill-will and unhappiness. Pretty much just punch them or run into them, and the battle will take place. If you don't aggravate it, it won't touch you. Unless it's an aggressive one created by Reapers, then they're out for blood.[/background]

    [background=transparent]Is there any Reaper etiquette?[/background]
    [background=transparent]There's a few things of Reaper Etiquette. First off, Reapers can chill out and send out noise that goes to anyone. They can dog on certain players if they wish, but it's best to send out a wide net to catch the most fish. Noise is not invincible, and the strength of your noise depends on the ranking of a Reaper. Weaker Reapers will only be able to summon weaker Pokémon, while stronger Reapers are able to summon weak and strong Pokémon. Legendaries cannot be summoned, as different legendary lend their abilities to GM's. For you, as the Roleplayer, you can either roleplay out the daily life of a Noise created by your Reaper, or you can let the players go. Players, feel free to create NPC noise if you want, just remember that if you're injured, that injury carries over to when a Reaper finds you.[/background]
    [background=transparent]A note on the legendary/Reaper Relationship: Officer Reapers are given full use of Legendary Noise Forms. If you're a Reaper less than an Officer, then good luck on whatever non-legendary Pokémon you got as your Noise Form. Maybe one day you'll get a Legendary Noise form.[/background]

    [background=transparent]What exactly is Noise?[/background]
    [background=transparent]Noise is Pokémon that are styled the same fashion as the link above. They are Pokémon, but with their limbs being the same style. They attack just like normal Pokémon, though it may look more like noise attack (sprites can be seen in the link above.)[/background]
    [background=transparent]A Noise form of a Reaper is basically what they can turn into during battle. The Noise they summon have no affect on their form, and vice versa. Noise is affected by type advantages/disadvantages, and so are Reapers in Noise form. So, don't tell your Pokémon to use an Earthquake on a Pidgeotto Noise or a Tranquill Reaper![/background]

    [background=transparent]Entry fee in more detail?[/background]
    [background=transparent]Entry fees can be anything from ideas to physical things. There are two requirements to an Entry Fee, one is that it can't be Pokémon, the other is that the Entry fee must have some sort of character changing value. The point of the Game is to allow people to grow, and the game takes away what they hold on to the most, making them not grow.[/background]

    [background=transparent]Those Rules[/background]

    [background=transparent]*Don't Godmod[/background]
    [background=transparent]*Play nice [/background]
    [background=transparent]*LV rules apply[/background]
    [background=transparent]*Play within the rules you've been given, if something doesn't make sense, I don't bite, go right on ahead and ask. Better to ask and get it right than to not ask and make me bite.[/background]
    [background=transparent]*Every person must have at least one Player, no more than three, while they can have up to three Reapers.[/background]

    Walking, walking, walking. A bit of hovering, but mostly walking. Flickering between the UG and the Real Ground (RG). Doing the walking in both, but hovering only in the UG. Bandit was impatient. It was his Week to be GM, and the players weren't even gathered yet! If this is how his Game was going to start out, he feared it'd be for the worse. He pushed that back, and continued walking around. There was a fair amount of Player material around, he glanced around the people, trying to imagine which were going to be his Players. Artisan was grumbling at him, the old Manectric wasn't putting up with his Trainer's flickering and frantic moving about. No one has time for that. Bandit glanced back at his friend, then calmed himself. He can't get wired up, it was just the day before. He has been noticing deaths, and as soon as the next day begins, so will his game. It was just odd, normally players would be "sleeping" by now.

    That wasn't his concern. His concern was figuring out his missions.
    --------------------------------------------

    The next day came not fast enough for Bandit, and the players were gathered. All asleep around the main section of Lilycove, in easy access of each other. A buzzing noise should greet each of them when they wake.

    Morning,
    Find a Partner and meet at the Department Store. Your time is unlimited. Don't push it, or you will be erased by the Noise.
    The Reapers

    Bandit admired his message. It gave off a firm, curt, and lack of playing around tone, just what the players needed. Artisan agreed. And with that message sent, Bandit used his power and pretty much jolted the players awake, his game now beginning. He wondered how the other reapers were feeling, as this was just another chance for their lives to be expanded or shortened. He was pretty sure his fellow officers would only grow in age, but he wondered how many of the young Reapers wouldn't last to see the end of the week. Thinking of his fellow officers, he decided to go off and find them, with the idea that he was going to brief them, but with the intention of making fun of players.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    Urban slept. He didn't realize he was sleeping, but he was. He jolted awake, not sure how he got there. That's not what he remembered, and he definitely did not remember Saga being out with him. Stubborn Cubone, following him to..wherever he was now. It took him a moment to figure out he was in Lilycove, and he was whole and..alive? This was odd, he remembered not being alive. A jolt from his Pokédex got his mind off of that momentarily, and he read the message.Find a partner, huh? This is odd, but I guess I should play along. He got up off the pavement, then started talking to strangers, trying to ask them about this "partner" business. No one seemed to listen to him, no one paid him any mind. How could this be? Was it because he was dead, but not really? It must be that. He looked at Saga, who seemed just as confused as him. Wonderful. He started moving around, calling out, hopefully someone would hear him.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    Vardan woke up, feeling the buzzing of his Pokenav in his pocket. Groggily, he looked at it, reading a message. He pushed it away, sleep was more important and whoever was sending him dumb mail should find his fist in their face. But something made him look at it again. Was it really dumb mail? Last he remembered was a bad run in with a Sharpedo, not sleeping in the middle of a city. None of this was making sense. Not at all. He looked over, his Houndoom staring concernedly at him, suddenly dropping the look when their eyes met. The Pokémon returned to his jolly attitude, licking Vardan in the face to wake him up and get moving. Vardan stood up, and had an experience that was similar to Urban's, just with more attempts at grabbing the collars of the passerby's, all to no avail. He was just as confused, but was more angry. He stomped off, trying to find someone else who would have a clue on what was going on, the Houndoom prancing happily along.

    "Another week, another group of sorry suckers falling into the game. Come on Blaze get up. Clip, Quills, get up as well." Persephone had been awake for a while now. She was pondering going noise form and blasting her partner and their two Pokémon awake, but Blaze was finally starting to wake up, along with his Quilava, but her Cloyster wasn't getting up still.
    "Come on Sax, do you really need to call Quilava Quills? And what happened do me being called Bass?" Blaze pulled out his bass and started tuning it up.
    "I prefer calling you Blaze over Bass. I still don't get why you refused the job as an officer reaper, just to keep you're rank the same as you're nickname. You're a fool." Persephone whacked Blaze over the back of the head playfully, but he got knocked into the side of the still sleeping Cloyster's shell. "Oh crap, sorry Blaze."
    "That's ok, not like it's the first time you've done that to me. And besides, I did worse once." Blaze was talking about and incident that had occurred while they were still players in this sadistic game. The two were on top of the Lilycove Department Store and Blaze went to pat Persephone on the back as a job well done. He accidentaly hit a bit hard and almost knocked her of the top of the building. "Well, lets get this over with. What's the new GM's mission today?"

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Harrison woke up in the middle of the street, confused as to what had just happened. He was trying to remember what happened before. He remembered fixing up one of the computers in the Dept. store and then getting electrocuted. "So, I managed to survive that shock. Wait, why is no one noticing me, its like I'm invisible or something." Then he realised what he just said, "Wait, no one can see me. No one to tell me what to do. This is the best thing ever." Then he saw what looked like a very old school Pokegear lying on top of his Magnemite. "Well, let's check this thing out." He tried pulling the back off the crappy Pokegear, but he couldn't. "Well, this is weird. Ohh, there's a message on here." He read the message and thought to himself, <Screw that, I'll just go there myself, no partner.> He started walking towards the Department store when he was stopped by an invisible wall. <The hell?>

    Takashi let out a loud moan. "WHY MORNING ALREADY?" He cried out as his Pokédex rang with its Reapers message. Kimi nudged him to try and get him up.
    "Mmm.... Fine, Ki, I'll get up, just... 5 more minutes..."
    Kimi growled, making Takashi jump up.
    "Alright, alright, I'm up. What is it?" He asked as he pulled out his Pokédex.

    " 'Morning, Find a Partner and meet at the Department Store. Your time is unlimited. Don't push it, or you will be erased by the Noise. The Reapers'...? Who are The Reapers?" He asked Kimi. She replied with a shake of her head.
    "... Did this thing always get messages? ... And where are we anyway? ... Oh well... guess we should find this Department Store."
    Takashi started to wander the area, Kimi following, looking for the store.

    Kira looked into her mirror in the UG at her pale complexion. She carefully applied her dark make-up before starting on her hair. She brushed the dark, straight strands of her glossy hair. She divided her hair into two sections before pulling them up into long pigtails. Lastly, she put on her Officer hat. Today, Bandit was starting a new game as the Game Master. Kira was excited- it'd be her first game as an Officer! "Luure~" A soft voice cooed from behind her. It was Lumi, her Chandelure. He seemed to be as excited as his trainer. Kira giggled and blew him a kiss, before going to search for Bandit.

    She founded him wandering around the UG. She decided to sneak up on him. Tiptoeing behind him, she wrapped her arms around his neck and hopped on his back for a few seconds. "Hehe, boo! Did I scare you?~" Kira was such a naive girl. She'd known her fellow Reapers for a long time, but she was pretty sure she still annoyed them. She thought she was cutesy, but many others thought otherwise do to her childish actions. As she hopped off his back, she smiled. "Excited to be Game Master, Bandit?" She whined. "You're so lucky! I can't wait till its my turn." Lumi, her Chandelure, gave the Game Master a "Luuuure." meaning 'hello'.

    -----

    "Uungh.." Allison mumbled, waking slowly. She placed a slender hand on her forehead, her head throbbing. What happened? She thought. A gentle breeze blew past her, causing the grass around her to caress her skin. She sat up quickly, remembering her death. She'd fallen off the boat due to a Wailord smacking her boat, causing her to smack her head on a rock. So how was she there now? Then her Poketech lit up and started making all sorts of noises, startling her again. She pushed her chocolate brown hair out of her eyes, and looked at the message on her device.

    "Find a partner and meet at the department store?" She read the message over and over. What did that even mean? She stood, waving to nearby people. They ignored her-or..could they not see her? "...Drag?" A familiar voice flooded her ears, causing relief to wash over her. The young girl turned her head, tears of happiness in her blue eyes and she met the gentle brown ones of her Dragonite, Dennis.

    "Dennis!" She called, jumping and hugging him. "This is so strange, I thought I'd died- and these weird messages.." She trailed off. Dennis looked at her sadly with a nod. "Drag.." His soft yet sad brown eyes confirmed her fears. She WAS dead..but somehow..alive? In a way. Feeling as though going to the Department store as the message said was her only lead to finding out what was going on, she headed towards the store. As she made her way, she glanced at all of the passing people, in hopes that some of them to could see her. She had to find a partner for something, so there had to be some people that could see her.

    -----

    Eren awoke to the sound of his Poketech bleeping loudly, much to his annoyance. He glanced at its small screen, reading parts of the anonymous message aloud. "Meet at the department store with a partner." Eren was used to getting anonymous messages, since he was a thief. He often got them when a group of thieves were meeting to make a raid on some place. He just assumed this was one of those situations-not that he was dead.

    He stood, stretching, about to make his way to the store. A deep, familiar voice made him turn. "Lux.." Eren smirked, turning to pat his Luxray, Ezra, on the head. "Ezra, you know better than to sneak up on me like that." he said with a gentle tone. He patted his pockets, expecting to find the Pokeballs of his other Pokémon there. However, none were. Did he leave them at home? He'd have to go get them later. With a nod of his head to Ezra, the two made their way to the department store.

    Takashi slowly came to a shocking relization; NOONE COULD SEE HIM! "How are we supposed to find this place without help?!" He shouted from frustration. Before the sound waves could begin their venture, he was already sprinting around, poking everyone around, finding he couldnt even touch them. Frantic, he moved swiftly, continuing the process for what seemed like forever, until finally... :o "Solid? .... A PERSON!" He shouted, quickly picking up the young girl and swinging her around in a fit of joy.
    "Hello miss! Your the first person I've found that didnt turn out to be a hologram! Do you know where the department store is?!" He asked before Kimi caught up and growled at her overjoyed master, making him relize he should put the poor girl down.

    (Yes, he is rationalizing all this as holograms. :P)

    Allison kept looking at everyone around her as she walked, hoping someone would make eye contact with her. No one had yet. "Oh, Dennis.." she began to sniffle. She didn't like being dead! "No one can see us..I'm frightened.." her voice quivered. Her giant Dragonite went to comfort his trainer, but someone else's arms wrapped around her before his could.

    A cute white headed boy, who looked a few years older than her, had spoken to her excitedly as he hugged her tight. Allison couldn't help but jump, startled that someone could see her! "W-Waaaah!" She gave a feminine squeal, the tears she had been previously crying were flung from her long lashes and into the air around her as she was hugged. They glistened as they fell. Her huge blue eyes met his soft golden ones. "W-who are you?" She shrieked in her tiny feminine voice.

    A growl from the Umbreon beside the young man signaled him to put Allison down. He did, and she quickly stepped back and clung to the side of her Dragonite, Dennis, who was staring down at the boy hard. He was just as shocked as Allison was for someone to see them! Allison tried to recover from the hug as quick as she could, brushing her chocolate hair out of her face and wiping her eyes, and hoping to rub the blue from her cheeks as well. He'd asked where the department store was, so that must mean he had gotten the same message as her! "The d-department store? It's just down this way.." she pointed in the direction she was headed. "D-did you get a strange message, too?" She blushed, realizing she hadn't introduced herself. "I'm Allison.. you give nice hugs.."

    :o The boy blushed lightly, but with his personality, it passed quickly.
    "Thanks... Yeah, I did. Find a partner, find the store! You did too? Then I think I was right, this is some kind of multi-player VR game! They gave me a mission on my Pokédex... Guess it does that now! Not sure how I got into this place, but it should be fun!" He laughed, looking in the direction she said the store was in.
    "We should probably head over there now, we'll probably get a prize if we finish this first!" He moved to run there, then stoped and turned, giving a bow in appology.
    "Sorry, I nearly forgot, my name... My..." He stopped, moving from the bow to a sitting position. "My name is... Kimi, what was my name again?" He asked his Umbreon, who made her way over to his side and pulled the Pokédex from his side pouch.
    Takashi opens it up and looks through its personal data.
    "Ah!" He said shooting up onto his feet, returning to his bow.
    "I am Takashi Elm, at your service, Miss Allison"

    "Blaze, it seems we have two players forming a pact. Time to unlock the gate for those two and only them, unlike last time." Persephone was watching Allison and Takashi from the top of the Department store. "Wait, Blaze, where are you you fool."
    Blaze had gone to find Bandit and congratulate him on being this week's GM. He knew there was also a chance that they wouldn't see each other again though, since at the end of the week, all the players would have to defeat the GM, which sometimes ended with the GM not only getting defeated, but sometimes erased. He found both Bandit and Bandit and little Kira already chatting. "Hey guys, congrats on your title as this week's GM." He got up close to Bandit's ear so Kira didn't hear what her still young mind couldn't really understand. It was weird how she was 22 and she still had a younger, more innocent mind than both him and Persephone. "Let's hope you don't get erased at the end of the week like the previous GM. Sucks that we have to be attacked at the end of each week."
    Persephone came down to where Allison and Takashi were standing and started talking to the two of them. "Hello, I'm Persephone. Welcome to The Reaper's Game. Let's just say that this is not a game Takashi, and you don't want to die again. Take this Keypin, it will get you two through the wall between here and the Department store." She started walking away, but she turned around again to give the two a warning. "Oh, and if you see anyone with these black wings," she materialized her wings to show them," don't piss them off."

    Max had heard an annoying beeping coming from his Pokegear. He had been heavily asleep and didn't want to be disturbed. So he rolled to his side and tried his best to ignore it. However, this wasn't possible for his partner whom looked at the device with an annoyed and bitter glare. Angeline reached over to the device and examined it. Though, she couldn't really read what was on there, she turned to her sleeping Trainer. She prodded him with her foot but Max only swatted at her. Sighing the Xatu stood over him and squawked loudly in his ear.

    "AAAH!" He flailed as he rolled away from her. "What was that for? I was in the middle of a dream! I got myself some ice cream--huh?" His eyes fell onto his PokeGear. Max reached over and opened it up. "Morning. Find a Partner and meet at the Department Store. Your time is unlimited. Don't push it, or you will be erased by the Noise."

    Max looked up at his Xatu and tilted his head to the side a bit. "What's a noise?"

    Angeline shrugged and stood up. She glanced around and noticed the environment surrounding the two. It actually confused her. Max felt the same way as well. He wanted to know how they got there. He had asked Angeline but she only gave him a shrug. Max then figured she may have teleported him to a different area without knowing.

    "Well. . . I guess whatever happened, we should find ourselves a partner and the store." He patted his Pokémon on the back and the two of them started off to the Department store. For some reason, he didn't know where it actually was but something, like an inner compass, was telling him that he was heading in the right path.

    On their way there, they noticed someone else walking in the same path. Max decided to jog over to the male. Once he got close enough, he greeted Eren. "Hi! My name is Max. Are you heading to the department store?"

    Angeline strolled up to him and quietly stood by Max's side. She wanted to make sure he didn't do anything stupid. Like normal.

    ----

    Already wearing her Reaper gear, Tabitha had been sitting along the edge of a wall, meditating. Her mind had been rather conflicting for the past few moments. So instead of talking to people about it, she figured this would be the best way to deal with it. Relaxing the mind seemed ideal for her. Especially since she'd rather avoid talking to people anyways. As she did this, her Mismagius was silently floating by her side.

    "Magius. . ." Hocus said, she was growing bored with having to wait until her friend was done being a monk. She frowned at her for a brief moment before the young trainer spoke out.

    "Fine. I think I'm relaxed enough." Tabitha grumbled as she stood onto her feet, dusting off her pants. She turned to her ghostly companion and frowned. It was almost as if she understood what Hocus was trying to tell her. "Fine. I'll go find the other Reapers and see what they're doing or whatever." She waved on and started down the path. Tabitha normally wasn't moody like this, she was just trying to clear her mind better so she could focus. And Hocus had disturbed her.

    Hocus only sighed and floated after her, not wanting to stray too far from her friend. After all, it seemed as if Tabitha was the only one she had now.

    Tabitha and Hocus had eventually found Kira and the big GM. She crossed her arms as Hocus dove behind her back. "Tabitha and Hocus are present."

    As Hocus hid behind Tabitha's back she slowly poked her head out. She noticed the GM and then Kira. But when she recognized Lumi, Hocus excitedly popped out from behind Tabitha. She remembered Lumi! She was thrilled to see him there! "Magius!!!"

    "Takashi...Elm.." Allison murmured to herself. That named sounded so familiar! She gave a little feminine squeal. "Are you related to Professor Elm?!" She didn't know he had any relatives! She looked Takashi over. He was goofy-he'd forgotten his name! He was completely different than her, but she was drawn to him and his company. She glanced at her Poketech, rereading the message.

    "Find a partner.." She blushed, looking at Takashi, shy. "Takashi..will you be my partner-"

    The shy girl was cut off by a woman dressed in black appeared before them, explaining their situation. Apparently they were in some sort of game. Before Allison could even ask what the concept and goal of the game was, the woman, Persephone, had walked off, leaving them with a key and a warning about people with black wings-something that terrified Allison.

    Allison stared at the small key in her hand, and looked up to Takashi and Kimi, worry clear on her face. "Takashi..what kind of game is this? And people with black wings?" Her voice shook. She handed the golden-eyed boy the key, wanting him to make the next move.

    ---

    "Blazee, hi!" Kira called to the other Reaper. She gave him a wave and a giggle, and saw him whisper to Bandit. "Hey- what did you whisper to him? Aw, don't leave me out of the little secret!" she pouted. She hated secrets- but she also wasn't so great at keeping them. "And where's Persephone? Has she gone to talk to the players?"

    "Luuuure!!!" Lumi began to float around in excitement when Tabitha and her Mismagius, Hocus, appeared. Lumi and Hocus had always been good friends! He floated to the Mismagius, circling her with a smile on his face.

    "Tabitha!! Hi!" Kira called, excitement in her voice. "Are you excited to start the Game??"

    -----

    Eren turned when he heard someone speak to him. It was a blonde guy about his age with a Xatu with him. "Wha..you can see me?" He waved his hands in the guy's face. "Holy shit, you can! I've been walking around for awhile, and it's like no one can see me!" The guy introduced himself as max.

    The dark headed boy smiled and held out his hand. "I'm Eren. And yeah, I'm headed to the department store, too. Got a weird text saying to meet at the department store with a partner. I figure it's a bunch of thieves meeting up to raid the store or something." Eren just assumed Max was a thief too! "Anyways, you got a partner? If not, wanna team up?" With that, he started heading to the department store.

    Takashi took the key and looked it over.
    "I dunno. Whatd they mean 'Die again'?..."
    He slowly smiled. "I guess this is the game telling us we only get one life... And what the main enemys look like! Oh, we are so gonna win this game!" He said with a smile at his new partner. (And thats him agreeing to be partners:P)
    "Lets go, partner!" He said with a laugh, grabbbing the girls hand and running toward the store before she knew what was happening. Kimi simply shook her head and followed.

    "Mismagius!!" Hocus cheered excitedly as quickly floated over to Lumi. She had an ear-to-ear smile on her face as she danced around her friend. Hocus even gave him a quick hug, letting him know that she was happier than a Sunflora about seeing him again.

    Tabitha was startled by the sudden excitement between Lumi and Hocus. She watched the two ghost Pokémon happily dance about with one another. As cute as this was, she still could feel her heart beat like crazy from the sudden cheering. Her attention was grabbed when her name was called. Tabitha looked at Kira and smiled to her. "Hey there, Trouble." She then let out a hearty laugh. "Ah-hahaha! Of course! I may not be an officer, but I'm sure as hell going to have fun with this game we have here." She crossed her arms wearing a cheeky grin. The thought of bothering the players just seemed so much fun! Though she did wonder if Hocus felt the same way. Despite the two being good pals, both ghost and human seemed to have very different views.

    "What about you? You excited too?" She figured to ask.

    ---

    "Yes! I can see you. Why? Can you see me?!" He looked at his own hands. The slightly dimwitted side of Max was showing as he tried to peer through his arm. Angeline elbowed him and he glanced back to Eren. "Huh. That's so weird. Maybe people here are zombies or something. Though, I don't remember how I got here." He rubbed his nose sheepishly. "It's like I poofed here or something--with Angeline. I think she used Teleport and doesn't remember doing it."

    Angeline gave him a snort.

    As he shook Eren's hand he blinked. "You got a text message too?" He pulled out his PokeGear and showed him his message. It was the same thing! "Woah so weird. I wonder how they got my number? I bet that Picknicker girl gave my number out." He frowned. That chick was so annoying. Always running up to him and talking about how cute her stupid Rattata was. Then complain when she called him on accident. The girl was a ditz.

    "Maybe! We'll just have to figure it out. And uh--sure! We can be partners then. I don't have anyone else, other than Angeline here." He pointed to his Xatu before he followed after Eren. "I wonder what is going on at this Department store? Is it a give away!?"

    Angeline quietly followed behind her bumbling idiot of a trainer. She didn't mind it though. At least they weren't going to walk in silence which was often more than awkward. Though sometimes she wished he had more intelligent things to say.

    "So you have a Luxray? They're so cool looking!" Max said.

    Persephone finally caught up with the other reapers after giving the new partners their LV 1 Keypin. "So, how is everyone this week? Oh, Bandit, you're GM." Persephone was hoping none of them would ever be GM. Unlike most of the other reapers, she didn't want any of these three to be erased by the players, and being GM gave you an even higher chance of being erased than usual. "We've got a pact between two players, Allison and Takashi. One of them think this is a VR video game, it's hilarious." She was starting to pull out her saxophone when she got a message on her Pokegear "Pact between players Eren and Max." She started muttering to herself while handing her sax to Kira. "Don't break it Kira, or else." Then she went off to find the new pact.
    "Has anyone else noticed Sax behaving odd recently? She seems really annoyed recently." Blaze then spoke to Kira. "What I was saying to Bandit is kinda private. Nothing you and your kinda immature brain would get." Blaze pulled out his bass and started tuning it again, even though he had just tuned it about an hour ago. "I'm gonna go check the wall, see if any players are getting cocky and trying to get through the wall without a partner."

    Kira smiled at the two happy ghost-types who were excited to see one another. She figured the two had been friends before they were captured, and enjoyed being reunited along with their trainers. She patted Lumi's heated body and giggled. "Glad to see our Pokémon are excited too!" She knew they were probably more excited to see each other rather than the Game that was soon to begin.

    "Yeah, I'm pretty excited~" Kira cooed happily. "It'll be my first game as an Officer! I'm ready to prove that I'm good enough to hold this position!" The darkheaded girl said, beating her chest with one hand. She'd send out the best Noise, too!

    The Officer carefully held Persephone's instrument in her hand as if it were some magnificent jewel. No way she'd brake it! She put her hand on her head in salute. "Roger!" She said as Persephone walked away, telling Kira not to break her instrument- which she wouldn't. She huffed when Blaze commented on her brain. Yes she was naive- but she wasn't stupid! Blaze was always picking on her, it seemed.

    ----------

    "'Game'? 'Enemies'?" Allison said fearfully. What kind of sick game was this? Were they fighting for their lives here? "W-waaah!" Before she knew it, her newfound partner, Takashi was pulling her towards the department store by her hand. She wasn't used to the contact, so she blushed. She was happy the free-spirited boy was her partner, though. "C-come on Dennis!" She called to her Dragonite, seeing as Kimi had taken off beside Takashi.

    "Draaagonite!" He called, before flying behind them. How his small wings lifted his body, Allison didn't know! When the two made it to the wall, she stopped, taking the key from Takashi. "How does this work..?" She said in a small voice. She took the key and poked the forcefield-ish wall. Did it go in a certain spot?

    ------

    "I'd love it if it were a free give away! I need a new tv and some Pokeballs." Eren said as the two boys headed to the department store. He chuckled a bit whenever Max's Xatu would snort or something- she sure did have character. "Maybe the re-did the inside and its a reopening type thing and they're giving away food!" He said, noticing his stomach rumbling. Mmm, food.

    Eren chuckled and ran a hand through his dark hair when Max mentioned a picnicker girl giving out his number. "Never trust the picnickers! They'll give out your number so fast- and they like to gossip and exaggerate things. For the longest time, this picnic girl told everyone I was her boyfriend because I beat her in a battle and agreed to have lunch with her as payment for winning. It was annoying!" He sighed, remembering that girl. She was so annoying-and too young for him!

    "Huh?" He glanced at Ezra. "Oh, yeah, this is Ezra!" He patted the Luxray on the head, messing up it's dark and already disheveled looking fur. "Luxray!" Ezra said, a smile on its face as it dipped its head to Angeline and Max. "He's my best friend and trusty sidekick! He has great eyes." He looked to the Xatu. "What about your Xatu there?"

    As they two arrived at the department store, he saw a white-headed man and a brunette girl poking at..the air? It looked quite strange to Eren. He didn't call out to the two though, because he assumed they couldn't see him or Max. "I wonder why no one seems to be able to see us."

    Takashi started to bang on the invisible wall. "Someone programed this game wrong!" He yelled, instantly frustrated with the invisible wall.
    "This area is supposed to be in the game, isnt it?.... Unless... Maybe this is a test, and theres another way in!" He called happily as he moved randomly around the wall, poking and jabbing it for a way through.

    (Hey guys, sorry I have been away for a bit.)
    Harrison was banging against the wall when he saw to other people come by, one carrying a small pin with a key symbol painted on it. He went back to banging against the wall. Just then, a teenager with a blue jacket and navy blue jeans started coming towards the wall as well. He first saw the two partners and was about to help them when the boy looked over and saw him trying to force his way through the wall.

    -----------------------
    Blaze found the wall that had been put up earlier by either Persephone and Bandit to the Department Store. He saw a pact trying to figure out how to get through and one lone guy trying to get through on his own. <Well, I hate to have to do this, but this is what he gets for being antisocial.> Blaze approached Harrison. "One last chance, find a partner or be erased. Harrison seemed to jump when he realized someone could finally see him, but started blabbering on about how he doesn't need help. "I warned you mate. You're going to have to be erased." Blaze summoned a Mawile noise to attack Harrison. Since Harrison without a partner, the noise Pokémon went straight after him and erased him effortlessly since he couldn't fight back.
    Blaze erased his noise so it would attack anyone else and went over to the two players who were struggling with the gate. "Hey you two. I see you two have a pact. Shouldn't you have a keypin?" He saw it and realized it was probably defective. "Oh, Persephone. Everything you touch other than that saxophone of yours breaks. Here, I'll give you two a working keypin. Sorry about having to erase that guy just then, but that's what happens when you don't follow the GM's rules." Blaze was about to walk back the the reaper group when he remembered something he overheard Takashi saying. "Oh, and Takashi, my reaper partner may have already said this to you, but this is NOT a VR game, this is real."

    ----------------------------------------
    Persephone found the new pact that Eren and Max had formed and gone through the same thing that she had gone through with Takashi and Allison. She kind of rushed it to get back to her precious saxophone. She thought she might have been a bit hard on Kira. She did trust Kira, it was just that she was a bit jumpy whenever anyone else was holding it. Next to Blaze, her saxophone was the most important thing in he life. She started talking to the air, "And besides, we are a bit hard on Kira. Everything we say to her comes out degrading or absolutely rude." She decided to go apologize to Kira, and maybe let Kira play it for a bit. She could tell Kira liked that sax and maybe Persephone could buy Kira her own one one day.

    ((I apologize for not being on, had to go to my uncle's wedding, and where we went internet was 15$ a day, so no internet until now. This should have my characters caught up.))

    Bandit jumped a bit, confused as to how a player already found him out. He turned, ready to fight back, but it was just Kira. He gave her a smile, one of which she couldn't see due to the bandanna around his mouth, and loosened his stance considerably. "You know I don't get scared easily." He convinced himself that he was just surprised, never scared. He wasn't sure if he convinced his fellow Reaper of that, but to quickly change the subject, he picked up on the conversation she created. "Can't say much as of yet, only just got the Players awake. Rounding up you guys now so then we can see how they're doing. I'm pretty convinced that I'll get an interesting game out of them. Wanna go see if they're--Hey there Lumi--if they're Noise-food yet or not?" He greeted Lumi, while Ariston laid down at his trainer's feet. He nodded towards the other Reaper and her Pokémon, but not much else from the Pokémon.

    At this point, Blaze arrived, and Bandit nodded to him as well. "Morning Bass," he greeted, and turned serious with Blaze's quiet comment. "Yeah, not planning on getting erased by any of these kids. Walked around a bit before the game started, I got my doubts. The last GM was my partner 'n all, so I know exactly what mistakes she made." Tabitha arrived as well, making this Reaper finding thing easier than ever. Bandit picked up his voice again, now that it seemed most of them came to him. Ariston continued to lay at Bandit's feet, even though more of the Pokémon he knew got closer.

    Persephone also showed up, making this a party. "That's a new one, players usually come up with odd reasons, but a VR?" Bandit's smile returned, even though no one could see it. "Alright, we all know how the Game runs. Sent out the basic mission, no one's on a time limit today. If players get erased today, then oh well. I don't want a single one to make it past Day 5, to let you all know. Now, get back to wherever, I'll be around. Feel free to explain some things to these players, so they don't keep thinking it's a video game or something. Erase one or two to show them that they don't get to screw up."
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Vardan's Houndoom quickly picked up on someone yelling. Prancing off, the dog-like Pokémon stopped and greeted Urban, huffing and barking to make the guy stop yelling, as well as get his master's attention. Urban knelt down and started petting the Houndoom, who seemed extremely friendly and noisy. Vardan was still pretty damn angry, but his mood soared as soon as he saw that Urban paid attention to his idiot of a Pokémon. Walking over, he looked over Urban, not trusting that the kid could see him. He looked over at the younger kid's Cubone, then back to him. Urban stopped petting the Houndoom, and glanced up at Vardan.

    "Sorry, do you happen to know about.." he trailed off, Vardan heaving the kid up by his shirt collar and cutting him off. Glaring at him for a few moments, he put Urban down gently. Saga hit Vardan's leg a few times with her bone, trying to defend her trainer. Vardan glanced down at her, then back to Urban.

    "Okay, now that I know you're a real one," he gave the smaller kid his toothy smile. "You and I are gonna be partners or whatever, got it? Now, let's get going, we're gonna miss out on whatever's going on at the department. Also, his name's Charlie, and mine's Vardan. Who are the two of you?"

    "Real one? Anyways, I don't even know what's going on, and uh, I'm Urban, and my Cubone is Saga." Urban was shaken up a bit by being lifted up so easily, though he went along. He was slightly afraid of what this guy could do, so he went along. Picking up Saga, he looked all ready to go, and Vardan just ignored Urban's comment and went looking for the department store, not that he knew where it was. Charlie ran around, active as ever. After looking lost and running into a few dead ends, the two made it to a wall, where they watched someone get erased. Vardan scoffed it off, while Urban looked terrified. A person gone just like that? It was insane. Vardan looked over at him. "Hey, Aidan, what're you looking scared about? It's probably fake. Charlie, go an' get moving, quit standing there."

    "My name's not Aidan, but there's a wall or something there I think."

    "Whatever, there's nothing there, and I'll get to that department store." Vardan attempted to walk past the wall.

    The wall didn't let him past.

    She couldn't help but agree with Kira. The two ghost Pokémon certainly did seem ecstatic to meet one another again. Tabitha couldn't recall Hocus being so excited before. The ghost was always so mellow and never really made much noise. As the matter of fact, for the longest time she thought Hocus was mute. "Yeah. They certainly are." She then turned her attention to the others. "I suppose I am really excited for the beginning of the game too." Tabitha was actually really thrilled but she was trying to keep her cool and act like it wasn't a huge deal.

    Tabitha scowled at Blaze when he commented on Kira's brain. "Dude. No need to be rude to her. She's in the area, she's obviously going to hear you talk. So chill out. Geeze." She snorted at him. Tabitha didn't care what ranking Blaze was compared to her. She didn't take that sort of snarky attitude kindly. The girl crossed her arms tightly across her chest. "People are so rude."

    Hocus had drifted over to Tabitha and tried to make her giggle by creating a funny face. At first Tabitha just stared at her Mismagius without showing any emotion. But it couldn't last long as this made Hocus try harder. Tabitha then snorted and Hocus chimed as she had successfully made her partner laugh. "You got me. You cheeky ghost." She turned back to the others and stood there. She didn't really know what to do at this moment.

    -------

    "OOOO!!! I love food!" Max chimed happily as he day dreamed about delicious hamburgers and ice cream sundaes. All of them were floating in his vision and it made him drool a bit. "Delicious hamburger. . . " Though as wonderful as his imaginary food was, Angeline pecked at him and all the delicious bubbles filled with food vanished. He turned to her with a bitter look. "Thanks Angeline. Ruin my daydream."

    Angeline shrugged. She liked ruining his fun sometimes.

    "I know right?" He looked back to Eren. "Picknickers are evil. Geeze! That's crazy! I would have been annoyed too." Then Eren explained about Luxray being his trusty sidekick. Max couldn't help but smile at this. "That's awesome! It's always good to have a pair of good eyes. That helped me through a lot of bad situations. Haha!" Max elbowed Angeline who had elbowed him back. "Angeline isn't my first Pokémon but she's probably my most trustworthy. She's been with me through thick and thin! Though, at times she does a lot of smart choices which saved my butt in the end." He laughed. "I'm not overly bright--as my brother would say. Haha!"

    Angeline nodded to Ezra, greeting him. She then quickly nodded when Max admitted he wasn't overly bright. Angeline couldn't agree more with that statement. She had often wondered if he knocked his head against rocks one-too many times.

    Confusion took over Max's brain when Eren pointed out that they didn't see the two of them. He shrugged. "I don't know either. To be honest, it's beginning to make me think someone drugged me with invisibility potions or something. I'm not dead, am I?" He poked himself then turned to Angeline. She didn't seem like she knew the answer either.

    Allison squealed and hide behind Takashi as a darkly dressed man appeared, sending a Pokémon-like creature after a boy who had been near by. When the Pokémon attacked the young man, he just..disappeared. How did that happen? "T-Takashi, what happened to that guy?! He just disappeared!"

    The dark headed girl was startled yet again when the man in black appeared by them. Was he going to attack them too?! She clung to Dennis and feared the worst. However, the man offered them another key, saying the one that the dark-dressed woman had given them a defect. "Huh?" Allison called quietly, looking at the key in her hand. She turned her blue eyes to the mysterious figure once again. "G..M..?" She was so confused! "And he knew your name, Takashi! Do you know him??" She bubbled over with questions.

    She headed back over to the mysterious wall, placing the keypin against it. It opened, and she gasped. turning back to Takashi and the man.

    ----

    Kira pouted, seeing as she hadn't frightened Bandit as she'd hoped. Boo! Ah well, at least she could frighten some players later on, hehehe! She clapped excitedly when she saw Blaze erase a player! "Woah! Blaze has started erasing already!" Her eyes gleamed with excitement. She couldn't wait to whip up some strong Noise to attack some players! She snickered. "That poor guy should've found a partner.."

    Kira hugged Tabitha tightly when she stood up for her! "T-Thank you Tabitha, you're my best friend!" Tabitha always stood up for Kira and treated her fairly. When Kira first became a Reaper, she was very scared and depressed- unsure of what to do with herself, and if she would like being a Reaper,, destroying players with Noise. Tabitha quickly befriended her, and made her feel welcome in their strange world. She giggled with Hocus flew up and made a funny face at her trainer.

    ----

    Eren chuckled when Max said that Angeline made a lot of smart choices for him and kept him out of trouble. Ezra did that for him, too! Kept him out of trouble, that is. His eyesight was wonderful, and often kept Eren from walking into sticky situations. He patted his Luxray again. "Aren't Pokémon great? They keep me out of trouble, and really help out.." he trailed off, thinking about how he liked being around Pokémon more than people. Not that he minded human company, that is.

    He was just about to reply to Max's comment asking if they were dead, when a pretty young woman had approached the two, handing them an interesting key. She quickly said to use the key on the 'wall' at the department store, which would lead them to the game. They were to watch out for people to had black wings, or be terminated. Eren stood there, dazed and confused as the woman, Persephone, left. "I...uh..wha?" He looked at the key in his hands, then turned to the department store wall.

    "A secret wall..?"
