Nuzlocke A Summer of Gold

Jumping into the Summer Scramble Nuzlocke. I don't know how far I'll end up going due to being in general bad at finishing nuzlokces, and having about a hundred other self impossed tasks, but points is points.

Rules (From the event)
- Catch the first pokémon you encounter on each route, if it faints you lose your encounter for that route
- Dupe clause is on, if you encounter a line you've already caught you get 3 attempts at finding a pokémon from a line you haven't caught yet, if you don't find one within 3 attempts you lose your encounter for that route
- If a pokémon faints in battle it is considered dead and must be released or boxed for the duration of the run
- Battle style is set, for games that do not have this option say no whenever asked if you want to switch out
- Items in battle are allowed
- Everyone on your team have to play a different game

Pretty basic start for Spencer. Picked Specter the cyndaquil (via random number) and did the intro stuff. I defeated my rival Luck pretty handily.
My first catch resulted in a failure, but I picked up Abyss the HootHoot on the next route. Gonna have to put some work into them to stay safe going forward.

Chapter 1- The First Badge

Having cleared the tutorial, it was time to prepare for the first gym. I caught Pokémon at all the nearby spots (except the Ruins of Alph). My poor rattata died in its first battle, so poor Skull contributed nothing. I was lucky to get a Geodude from the dark cave, which I planned to use on the gym.

Montage of training to get the Pokémon all to lvl 10, then a few more levels from climbing sprout tower, since I forgot you need to clear it before the gym.

The battles went quickly, Tombstone's rock throw pretty much wiped the whole gym.

After a victory at the first gym, Spencer heads sought through the forest and cave. Nothing to exciting. No Pokémon picked up in the cave because I could only find Pokémon I'd already caught.

Picked up a spearow on the otherside of the cave, and a slowpoke in the slowpoke well (who'd have guessed)

Specter took charge of the gym and took us easily to the gym leader.
Bugsy then proceeded to terrify me by throwing out a lvl 17 scythe to my lvl 15. It's quick attack nearly wrecked me. But with a few potions and some burn luck we cleared it, to discover that that was Bugsy's best mon.
