    :: This is a bit of an odd question even for me, but do you have a preference between iridescent incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs? and why?

    :: What incentives or reward systems tend to have the largest impact on you?

    :: What do you believe about the concept of 'beauty in simplicity'?

    Edit: Oops. Apparently I didn't remember the correct adjective.

    1: An odd question, maybe, but you'd be surprised how many people can get riled up about it. I won't go into detail here, but with some people you'd think they were getting worked up over child labor or religious murder. Also, do you mean incandescent? The kind that works by heating a metal filament? I don't know what an iridescent lightbulb it, but it does sound pretty cool.

    Anyhow, I generally prefer fluorescent bulbs. Other than the warm color of incandescent bulbs, they're just better in a lot of ways. They last longer, use less electricity, and create more light, all at a comparable price. It seems to be almost a landslide victory. LED bulbs, on the other hand, I do not like. Something about them makes my eyes ache, and that goes double for LED brake lights on cars. I really can't identify what it is, but it is so headache inducing I seriously can't stand it, even if they otherwise have all the other benefits of fluorescent bulbs on steroids. It's not worth the pain.

    2: Food, generally. I'll do almost anything if I'm compensated food, even if it's less than monetarily balanced. If you want my help moving house and offer me twenty bucks for your time, I might turn you down. Promise me pizza though, and I'll gladly eat four slices (a value of about 4-8 USD) and do all the unpaid labor you want. It's beyond hunger being the greatest motivator, there's just something about food that, to me, psychologically seems like a good wage for things done.

    3: I'm torn on that matter. I think where I'm drawing the line is this: utility. If it's something which I (or other humans) have to use or otherwise directly interact with, simplicity is beautiful. Easy comprehension and execution of a tactile or otherwise utilized medium is very important, to say the least. However, for things with which we do not directly interact? Complexity. Imagine if the sky (day or night) was always just a solid color, or if the surface of the earth was flat and featureless, or if any painting ever had no more than two objects (simple objects at that) put unto its surface; how utterly boring that would be.

    I think I may have just reached the root of my opinion here: if it's something that needs to be interacted with, keep it mundane, for simplicity promotes utility, which is beauteous in its own way. If it is something only to be observed, then let it grow to untold complexity, such that beauty may grow in the folds of its design.

    I prefer showers.
    A bath holds up all your filth,
    and you soak in it.

    ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~
    My third favorite(3)
    after human and wild(1) boar
    is the lowly snake.
    (changed if you pronounce
    the words "favorite" and "wild"
    with other meter)
    ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~

    I had a dog once,
    a small Scottish Terrier.
    Her name was Misty.
    ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~
    Mosquitoes love me,
    they feast upon my essence.
    I despise their kind.
    Bees will ignore me,
    I have never felt their sting.
    For that, I'm thankful.
    This phenomenon,
    the half of the world we see
    is part of life's charm.
    But the other half,
    the part we feel if not touch,
    is where I find joy.
    ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~
    Pizza is unique:
    it's universally good,
    thus can break the rules.
    Proper ettiquitte:
    Finger-food is good manners.
    Learn to eat, peasant.
    ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~
    As I weave these words,
    and as I learn this language,
    I see it always.
    But I am impressed,
    I found a rival in this art.
    For that I thank you.
    Very hot, not much to see,
    Make a new species,
    Described in twelve syllables?
    Difficult indeed.
    First choice goes like this:
    Small, fuzzy, with beady eyes
    Friendly to humans.
    The alternative:
    big, strong, unintelligent,
    and tastes delicious.
    Ahem - a snake is not lowly. But I see you like them! Hi-Five!
    Now onto the questions:
    - Do you grow vegetables?
    - Do you have a favourite Kid Icarus character?
    - What is your favourite rock formation?
    How long does it take for you to think of a haiku?
    Are you a poet but you didn't even know it?
    Sometimes it happens
    in the time it takes to talk.
    It's part of my brain.
    ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~

    I'm not a poet.
    I notice I speak haiku,
    without much effort.

    ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~
    That's open-ended.
    My interests are quite varied,
    I love everything.
    Like world culture,
    mostly with food and language,
    sometimes history.
    Video games too.
    Pokémon and Mega Man,
    plus The Elder Scrolls.
    Also sciences.
    Astronomy, chemistry,
    and biology.
    I love everything
    So many topics are cool.
    :: What's a sort of decision or similar object you can answer or respond to, that requires basically no thought on your part?
    :: Similarly, what's a kind of decision (or similar) you really have to think about before you answer?
    :: What would you say if, I answered questions one week, always in haiku?
    The kind you just asked.
    But I need more syllables,
    so I'll put some here.
    ~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~

    I premeditate.

    I think for most things.

    It's imitation:

    I accept the gift.

    On the other hand,
    everyone wants to be me.
    (I have such ego.)

    Honestly, I jest.
    You have the skill to answer,
    I think it's trés cool.

    It is worth noting,
    I don't know many questions.
    One of my drawbacks.
