Kirito tried to search for words. Hw never row a boat and thinking about it he wasnt sure if he had the strength
By then, Evergreen had put her purse in the boat, stepped on, and invited Kirito to do the same. "I can help you row, you know," she offered.
''I can easily do it. '' Kirito said, as he sat next to her. ''You just relax.'' With the other man behind him on the otherside, he started to row. However Kiritio had more trouble and already was out of breath when he was not even 5 min on the way
Evergreen giggled. "You're such a gentleman! But you sure you don't need any help?" She placed her hands on Kirito's oar.
Watching him row like this amused Evergreen. He really wanted to impress everyone, didn't he? Even her. Still, Evergreen placed had hands on Kirito's and helped him out. "Seriously, you're rowing too hard! No wonder you're tired."
Kirito didnt say anything but did let her help. "You know you talk to an amazing dark.mage right" he said The owner chuckled. "Yes an amazing dark mage who cant row"
Evergreen rolled her eyes. "Amazing dark mage..." she muttered. "And you know you're talking to an amazing Gardevoir who can row." The boat continued its journey to the next island, with its largest community in sight; Kantai City. In a place like this, Evergreen wondered if the SBC did any trading here.
Kirito face went red and didnt say anything until they arrived. "Well mates. Seems we made it. There os a market place and a beautiful garden in the middle" the owner said. Still wearjng a big grin on his face
Having enjoyed the effect she had on Kirito, Evergreen grinned widely back at the boat owner and helped moor the boat. "Thanks for lending us your boat! And yes, we shall take a look at this garden. I look forward to that!" By the time Evergreen had picked up her purse from the boat, it was sunset.
She looked at him with a confused look. "Enjoy... What? Come on, we're travelling together in a land we've never been to before. There's lots to see." In her mind, Evergreen enjoyed it more or less because she got to spend more time with the dark mage.
"Yeah your right. Anyway wete to go now?" As hr gazed next to him he saw a big inn. (I might throw all the islands in a mix by accident. Im not sure what the second island had)
(I need to go back into the game and get familiar with the locations again too) Kantai City had the vibes of communities like in Kanduin. While there were basic areas like a marketplace and a cleric's home, there were also more specialised areas that were more exclusive to the city. Among these was Kantai City's research bloc, where sages were known to gather for meetings. Evergreen looked at the sunset, with her arms behind her back. "We should get some rest. I'm pretty tired from all that rowing." She looked at the big inn, known as the Tidal Song. "I guess we'll have to stay there."
Kirito slightly nodded, not that he wasn't tired. But looking at th ebig inn and thinking of the small amount of money he had inn his pocket made himm doubt if they could affort staying there.
Soon enough, Evergreen and Kirito had walked into the Tidal Song. For an inn, it certainly was different than other inns - it ranked among the best inns in the world and had participated in an inn competition, only to finish runner-up. It was clean and organised, and cost 8 gold per person per night. "I like this place..." Evergreen muttered. (Borrowed the award-winning thing from Dragon Quest)
(Cool I like the idea) "I agree but 8 gold per. " kirito checked his pockets findinf a mere 2 gold. "So what do you want to do?"
(Haha indeed. And the award is literally called the Inny in-game) Evergreen crossed her arms. "We could always sell some of the stuff we got... But then again, these people like to trade. Maybe we could exchange one of our items?" she sighed, not really wanting to give up some of the items. "Maybe they would like the potted plant?"
''Yes we could try that.'' he looked at the plant Evergreen hold, ''Maybe it is a rare plant, and they would let us stay at a lovely big room.'' he grinned
When Kirito said that along with the way he smiled, Evergreen's cheeks went red. She shook her head and walked into the Tidal Song. "I don't know whether to get my hopes up..." She sighed.
