Mehealani didn't reply anymore, she felt it was important who she knew him, and didn't matter how others thought of him . ''Ii am sure your friend, is waiting for you. I have to go. Goodbye Evergreen.'' as she took a different turn and ran off
"Goodbye," Evergreen replied. Now back at Koniko Town, night had already fallen. Even though she had been away for a while, Evergreen wondered if Kirito had recovered by then.
Kirito sat on the bed with Pikachu on his lap eating rice. He was still a little pale but he was busy recovering. "So you do not know where evergreen is?" Kirito wondered. The cletic shook her head. When I camr back she was gone. He felt worried. When he had woken up and noticed evergreen wasnt there he tried to stand up and ran off to find her but with little effort. Finally he had given up with the hopes she would return
And indeed, Evergreen had returned to find Kirito sitting on the bed. "Kirito?" Evergreen said, finding him there. Upon seeing him, tears started forming in her eyes and she quickly sat beside Kirito to hug him. "You're safe..." she muttered.
Kirito was so surprised by the sudden hug. ''Where were you, yo u had me worried sick. '' he sighed, as he put his bowl away and hugged her back
"I... I'm so sorry," Evergreen replied, still fighting tears. "A lot happened today, but I'm so glad you're okay. It was so scary." Feeling Kirito hug her back made her relax, though she felt a little sorry she might have upset Kirito's meal.
The cleric chuckled as she sae what was going on. "Alright. Tomorrow you can leave but no battles or magic for sometime. You arent strong enough" Kirito wanted to protest. "And you troublemaker." The cleric said to evergreen. "You watch your man not to do it '
Evergreen quickly blushed, but only briefly. "My man...? I'll keep an eye on him. No problem." She finally let go of Kirito. "You should keep eating, Kirito. You need your strength," she said.
Kirito rolled his eyes and grabbed his bowl of rice back and continued eating. the cleric chuckled even though she knew it wasn't like that, due that Kirito explained it to her before hand. she still thought it was funny to see the Pokémon struggle like that. ''Anyway, shall I examine you as well/.?'' the cleric asked to evergreen
"Um, yes please. That would be great," Evergreen replied, cooling down. Sitting up, she put her hat and purse down, and placed the shopping bag extra close to her.
Kirito noticed the sudden extra care for the bag. "Whats with the sudden extra carefull with the bag" The cleric took her stuff and went over to evergreen to check her temperture and any hidden injuries. .. (I wasnt sure how to do kirito sentence )
Evergreen realised she hadn't told Kirito what had happened. As the cleric checked on her, she said, "Well you know. All our tradeable items are in here. It would be really bad if something happened to it, right?" Evergreen didn't know it, but she was anxious. (No worries. I understand)
''Yeah sure, I guess.'' Kirito still was confused what was going on. He sighed and gave the rest of his rice to Pikachu (Glad so, that happens if ya didnn't study in English nor if it is ya first language XD)
(You're doing fine already!) Evergreen nodded. She would have wanted to tell Kirito what had happened, but she supposed it could wait. She let the cleric finish her work first.
"Well outside from a few bruises you seem fine by me" the cleric said as she put away her stuff. "Just stay out of trouble from now on
"I will," Evergreen replied. "Thanks very much." Then she looked at Kirito. "We'll need to find some place to stay for the night. Any ideas? Preferably somewhere well inside the town..."
Kirito nodded as Pikachu sat on his shoulder. ''Sure, I am certain there is an inn close by.'' as he slightly yawned. ''Really after all the sleep I am still tired
Evergreen yawned too. She picked up the shopping bag. "I'm really sleepy too." She leaned on Kirito's other shoulder while walking. There was a modest inn near the seashore, and it made up a good part of Kiniko Town.
"We'll just have to see," Evergreen said. The inn was a modest one but it had its share of popularity. Being the closest to the seashore and also close to where the Kahuna Olivia operated a famous jewelry shop, and despite thieves prowling the town, people were smart enough to not mess with her.
