Kirito nodded. ''Maybe for a boat ride, it would be good right?'' As he gazed around for any boats nearby
Because Marina Village was small, there were very few boats moored. There were fishing boats and the sailor who ferried Evergreen and Kirito was also still here. “Well... I was thinking we could transform a flower into something useful... and trade it for a ride,” Evergreen suggested.
Kirito nodded. "Yes we can give it a try" as he spot it the man from earlier. "Maybe we can ask there?"
"I guess so..." Evergreen said. There were a handful of shops, though not many, in Marina Village. One could change the flowers into a kind of perfume, another could extract the nectar from the flower to produce a kind of jam, and another could preserve the flower so it could become a permanent ornament.
"Um, sure let's do that." Evergreen clung to Kirito's arm. The ornament shop owner was capable of transforming flowers from the meadow into beautiful works of art. Whether it was taking the flower and permanently encasing its form so that it could become a beautiful houseplant, or create a kind of incense that was sure to bring a light aroma to any home and brighten anyone's day. And it smelled nice. "Hello there! How can I help you?" the shopkeeper greeted.
Kirito felt the gardevoir once again hanging on his arm. He sighed and went to the shop. "Hello. Can you make of this flower an ornament?" As he placed the flowers on the desk
The storekeeper took the flowers and examined them. “Ooh! Genuine flowers from the meadow?” he said. “I certainly can turn them into an ornament. I’ll just need to keep one in exchange.” He started his work, taking one of the flowers and froze it in place with a bit of equipment and a spell. The one flower he worked on had slowly solidified so that it would never fall apart. Evergreen watched. “It’s so pretty...” she said.
Kirito did pay close attention to what the man was doing. Somehow it seemed interesting to him. ''So what are you making?'' He wondered
"I'm freezing this flower to indefinitely preserve its form. You see the flower petals? They'll stay like that and won't lose its luster, and it sparkles now! It's ideal if you want to decorate your home or gifting it to a special someone," he replied. He used a tool to craft the flower carefully, and it was as hard as diamonds.
“It takes years of experience,” he replied. “Yes, it is hard. These flowers are a little fragile and will break if you don’t do it right.” He held up the flower to Evergreen who looked at closely.
''I see, well maybe I ever give it a try.'' Kirito replied as he yawned a little. ''When we are done, we can go find a boat.''
With her free hand, Evergreen gratefully took the flower and continued leaning on Kirito's shoulder. "This is really pretty, isn't it?" she said. "I'm sure you could do the same someday." The craftsman then went onto making more flowers. It took a little time but eventually he had a bunch made. They looked fragile, but even Evergreen knew they wouldn't break easily.
"If I ever feel like it" he said. Feeling evergreen clinging to his arm. "Shall we get going.? We need to find a boat for that bag of yours"
Evergreen took the flowers with her free hand again. They felt light but also very hard. “Yeah, let’s get going,” she said, continuing to lean on Kirito. She followed Kirito to the docks. Inventory 6x Frozen Flowers
He spot it the same boat guy from before. He wasnt sure if he was willing to help again and taking a detour to a different island. Kirito walked up to him making sure evergreen had let go of his arm. "Hey remember us" he smiled
“I do remember you two,” he replied, smiling. “Did you end up seeing my mother after all?” “We did.” Evergreen nodded. “She sends her regards.”
''And if you want to come more often.'' Kirito smiled. ''Anyhow, we wanted to ask you something.'' he continued making a more serious face.
