Kirito explained that they were searching for the skull thieves hide out and that he couldnt remember which island it was. And if he coulr bring them there.
The sailor had no problem with Kirito’s request. As a reward for helping see his mother, he offered them the ride to the island where the Skulls were supposed based. But ironically the island also was home to a prosperous city in the Alora Islands. “Ooh, that sounds nice,” Evergreen said.
Evergreen was surprised. She thought it unexpected if Kirito to ask such. “Malie City has a very efficient guard system. The island kahuna, Nanu, was supposedly a head captain of some legion elsewhere. So it’s no wonder he can keep the Skulls from invading the city,” the sailor said. Then Evergreen remembered something. “Oh gosh, Erynn’s sick sister lives in Malie City! We have to get the medicine back in the shopping bag.”
Kirito blinked. It was most.obvious he forgot about that. "So seems we are also in a hurry" He thought about that leader fot a moment. "I need to protect Evergreen at all cost. " He thought
(Evergreen would be thrilled if she could read Kirito's thoughts right now) Evergreen looked carefully at Kirito. "You sure you're okay? We don't want to get seasick soon either." She could tell Kirito's thoughts were wandering off. The sailor led Kirito and Evergreen to the ship. Heahea City would be the only destination, which was the prosperous city on the island. And Malie City was on the other side.
(Haha im sure she would be) "No worries. The important part is to get the bag back. So we can go hom3" kirito answered. He did take a deep breath before going on the boat
"Y-yes, that's right." Evergreen put the six frozen flowers into her purse and took a seat on the boat. Soon enough the boat was making its way to Malie City. Even from the distance, one could tell that the city was a grand one, as if it was a gateway to the entire island.
Kirito had holding his breath for sometime, not to try to puke. He stood up holding him on the railing but gave a small smile seeing the city. ''This is something else.''
(I had my facts mixed up. There's only Malie City ) Even Evergreen was doing her best to hold onto her stomach but likewise smiled at seeing the city in the sunset. "It's pretty." By the time they arrived at Malie City, it was already well into the evening and shops had closed already. Only the cleric's home was still open, and so was the inn and the local restaurant.
*my post didnt show up. No clue why. Also no worries) Kirito was glad to find steady ground and looked around. "Wanna ambush them when they least expect" he asked evergreen even though he knew the answer
(Figured something was off) “But we don’t know where they are,” Evergreen said, holding to her purse. “Besides, isn’t it a little dangerous to head out in the dark?” Malie City certainly looked like Kanduin. It’s buildings were reminiscent of the ones they saw in their bigger adventure.
(Yeah maybe I click away to fast. No clue) Kirito sighed she had a point. They didnt knew where they were. Even though he didny care much for the danger part. "Fine what do you suggest"
(Ah... Perhaps) Evergreen dragged Kirito's arm. "First, you need a good night's rest so you can get your strength, and then we ask where the Skulls' hideout might be. Someone has to know, right?" She glanced into his eyes, the moonlight shining on her face.
Kirito felt a blush coming from his cheeks when he looked at her. "Fine whatever" as he turned his head. "Lets go find places to sleep
“H-hey, you can’t turn your head away like that!” Evergreen tried following Kirito’s gaze but failed. “S-so, what’s a good place to sleep around here? It looks just like Kanduin, this city.” She nervously played with the charm on her neck.
"Sure sure, let's go." Evergreen tugged on Kirito's arm and led him in search of the cleric. Most places in Malie City were still open and the cleric's home was no exception.
"Hello someone in here?" Kirito called out before the clerics home. Feeling like usual evergreen hanging on his arm
The cleric was a young man who looked older than Kirito, but only slightly. He was attending to a young woman who looked very sick. “Oh, hello there,” the cleric greeted Kirito and Evergreen. “Can I help you?” Evergreen hoped Kirito didn’t mind her clinging to his arm. Then again, Kirito hadn’t complained yet.
