A Wild Steven Appeared!

I think Steven is a really awesome character in general. I love seeing him around since he is really amazing in terms of skill and the amount of interaction with the plot! I think my favorite scene with him is when he's complaining about his dad embarrassing him.

 

Steven is the bomb! And the game constantly points it out which I find hilarious! I admit his increased involvement in ORAS was nice and fun as well as amusing as heck! My favourite part with him was when the grunt referred to him as a handsome specimen as well as the scene where you face him for battle as equals which is awesome and difficult for me since I didn't have a fire type Pokémon .

 

Steven appeared quite a few times throughout the game, unlike a few other Champions, which is certainly a good thing. He's a pretty interesting character, which also makes him a lot more likeable. He really is involved in the story, something that is very important for a major character like him. I'm glad they gave him this little more expanded role, it really makes him a great and worthy Pokémon Champion

 

It was pretty cool to interact with him more and learn more about his personality and likes. I was expecting him to play a bigger part given how popular he is and how he kept popping up in different games.

I think it's great, it's good that champions seem to actually be involved with their region haha, especially with Steven in the Delta Episode and stuff. I'm glad he pops up as much as he does!

 

I loved this so much! Steven was very bland in the original R/S/E so expanding his character was a much-needed addition. He really should've had a bigger role in the originals given that he was the champion. He has a more in-depth personality, too, which really does make a huge difference when you compare him to his third generation counterpart that really was as boring as a rock, lol.

My favorite scene is definitely his little freak-out when talking to his dad in the Delta episode though ee, loved seeing that side of him. Serious character having such a jokester dad calls for some awesome cutscenes~

 

I like Steven. Would I say he got a ton of development? Not really. Steven is still an incredibly bland character in my opinion, he just doesn't interest me at all. However, he is a silver haired dreamboat, no denying that.

 

Like Achromatic said: while Steven doesn't receive much development, if any, you can't help but like the guy. (Probably because he's a silver haired dreamboat. Let's admit it, he is a handsome. We're all thinking it.)
Nintendo should do this more with future Pokémon games, it's characters with more depth that stick with us, ie. N from the Black and White series.

Hands down my favourite scene has to be in the Delta episode when he gets embarrassed by his dad.

Just imagine a remake for the Sinnoh region with Cynthia though.

I was very happy to see Steven more often, even with the prior knowledge that he would be the Champion. He's static, sure, but a character doesn't have to be dynamic to be a good one

As for my little brother, though, Omega Ruby is his first Pokémon game; I can't wait to see how he reacts when he finds out Steven is the Champion.

 

He does make more appearances in the new games, which is awesome because he's one of my favorite characters through out the various games. Howeverrrr, I wouldn't really say that his character evolution is any higher because of it. Maybe that's because I've seen him in the anime, so to me what ORAS gave to him didn't really build him up much. Though, if you've never seen his episodes of the anime over the years, then I guess ORAS would be a step up for him, in comparison to the original games.

I do love that he's getting some cool scenes in both the new games and the mega evo anime, though. *^*

 

Steven is adorbs, ok~
I adore him, so it was amazing to see him more in action in before, and I knew this was coming, way back when the demo came out. Riding with him was about the best thing that the developers put in the game. The fainting fangirl levels around the world must have been very high.

 

Steven is one of my favorite Champions, at least design and team-wise. He didn't get a whole lot of development that wasn't there in previous games, but I still like his general attitude, and it's nice that he does appear more often. I loved the addition of the Southern Island where you battle alongside him, and the Delta Episode was awesome!
