I didn't see any thread about posting about glitches that happened in video games. So I figured to make one.

    So about them accidental glitches?

What are the funniest accidental glitches you've encountered? How about an annoying glitch? Or maybe some glitch that left you sitting there, staring blankly at the screen because it was so dumb or random? Explain your amazing stories here! And it doesn't matter what system you played on.

I personally could name several accidental glitches.
But I'll do 3 so I don't kill people with my walls I tend to enjoy making.

    Most crazy glitch:

Starfox 64: A lot of people are shocked when I mention that I had a glitch in this game. It apparently has so very few glitches in it or is "near to perfect" or something. Anyways, I was playing on my n64 and was going through the level where the boss you fight; first sends out 2 random Joes that you have to kill before you actually battle him. Now, after you defeat each one, the game goes into this cutscene mode where Fox flies through the explosion. Unfortunately, my game had glitched on the second guy. And I had to manually fly the Arwing through the explosion.

    Sounds easy. Right?

NO. IT WAS NOT. The camera was placed at a rather odd angle. And every time I turned the Arwing, the camera would do this dramatic turn or twitch, making it hard for me to drive through the standing explosion bubble. It took me about an hour of determination to actually get this damn plane through the explosion. I finally did it and the game proceeded to play without any further interruptions. Unfortunately, I was unable to have this glitch happen again. :'C

    Most random glitch:

Sims 2: I had this computer that could barely play this game efficiently. But anyways, I had a family who just had a set of twins. Both parents had green stats, which means that they were perfectly happy and content. Healthy and well! But unfortunately, my computer decided to freak out, stall the game, and then all of a sudden my two parent sims were dropping dead onto the floor. Death came down and dialed his phone, sending the parents away. Now, Death is supposed to vanish after this whole thing. But he decided that this would be the perfect time to use the family's flat screened TV. So he walked over to the couch and sat down, watching TV. He stayed in the house for a long period of time too. As the kids continued to cry because of horrible stats, the social worker finally came in and took them away because their parents were being horrible parents by being randomly dead. Death eventually poofed.

    Best glitch ever:

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: Now, I don't know if it was because of the CD, the game being known for its constant glitching problems, or if my Game Cube was being a stubborn little troll. (because it was a little troll. I have several other stories about my Game Cube glitching.) But I had this one amazing glitch happen to me.

I was in the first level where you play as Tails. It's a simple level and I've gone through it over 500 times (literally with no exaggeration). But I had miss-stepped on a platform and got myself stuck. Being that I was playing on the hardest mission for that level, I then got ambushed by a bunch of robots and Tails fell through the ground. Vanishing into the black abyss. I lost a life. Big deal.

But when I respawned, I was in the final level on the final mission (which is; beat the level on hard mode), and on the final character to play as in that level. So, being rather shocked about no longer being Tails in one of my favorite levels, I decided "What the hell?" And just went through and defeated the level.

In the end, I had gotten two medals for completing the hard missions. Not really a bit deal or anything. But the thing is; in that game you cannot choose the missions you want to do. You have to do them in order. I needed the final mission on the Tails level but since I glitched, I ended up completing two missions on separate levels during one play through. And the final level, the one I ended on, I had only done the first mission (because that level is hard as hell DX). Now I have the first and very last missions complete on it. xD I'd post a pic of it for proof, but I'll do that later. :P

I remember when I played the Spongebob Movie game, there was a battle with Dennis on David Hasselhoff's back. I jumped far off of his shoulder and fell into the water. I just fell until I hit the bottom. I looked up and I saw the level high above me. It was weird. 0.o

    Haha. Glitches are great.

The one thing I really like about some glitches; is when your enemy gets stuck in the environment. I've had this happen a couple times in Skyrim, Neopets: Darkest Faerie, and Megaman Legends 1 & 2. I just stood there popping arrows/bullets/sword slashes at them. Making it an easy kill. Though sometimes it does take the fun out of the challenge haha.

I love that, too. XD We had that happen once and we called him Creampuff and he was our pet. Until somebody accidentally killed him. :c Now we call all AI fails "creampuffs", in his honor. You will live on in our hearts, forever, Creampuff!

Warriors Orochi 3, camera fail glitch.
Conquest of Kyushu, playing as Ryu Hayabusa, Suddenly the camera wouldn't follow me, just stayed in the same spot. If me and Shadowbrute hadn't been playing splitscreen co=op, the level would've been a complete train wreck. We quit after 3 minutes though,.

I was watching my uncle play the Witcher 2, my uncle suddenly gained god-like powers and nothing could damage him. I mean he had no vitality left but he was being hacked, slashed, burned, zapped and he would not die. To say the least he had a little fun with it, but went back to a time when he wasn't an undying Geralt.

Another one was when I was playing Skyrim and my Khajiit had no neck. No matter what I did she just had absolutely no neck and it was freaky.

I don't know what caused either of those glitches either.

Ah good ol' Skyrim. It's like the king of random glitches xD It really is. I have never played a game that has as many glitches as that game does.

This one time I was trying to get into the Wizard college and when I went through the first set of doors, (to get into the courtyard) I looked around and the castle was missing. Except for the door and a few floating candles. It was hilarious. The first thing that came to my head was "Look! I'm in Kingdom hearts! Where a random hanging door is just chilling there in sight!"

Later that day, I went to Dawnguard and I entered that castle. And when I walked around I went into this hallway which the game hadn't completely finish loading. The floor was gone and so were the walls. I walked to the edge and looked around the area. And when I did, it looked like the castle was floating in the sky because the ground all around me, was white puffy clouds and deep blue sky. I tried making it over but miscalculated my steps and ended up falling. As I fell, I looked up and saw the underside of the castle. It was pretty sweet! I ended up respawning back at the beginning of the castle and it still stayed there xD I had to actually leave the castle and re-enter it for it to load right haha.

On the side note of Skyrim. I was watching my dad play Grand Theft Auto V and he walked into this club. The game didn't load all the way so he was running around in a solid grey room with nothing in it, except for the door he had used. There was dance music playing in the background though. It was funny haha

Speaking of Skyrim, I had a weird glitch with my companion today. He got "killed" by an enemy, which will make them crouch down in pain and normally get back up again after a few seconds. But he didn't. I killed the enemy, watched m companion's health regenerate, but nope, still crouching. I ran off thinking he would follow, but he didn't. I made it to a house thinking entering the door and having him spawn in there with me would fix it, but nope. So I took the gear I gave him, and parted ways.

The fucker says "I'll go back home if you need me." and then, still stuck doubled over in pain, crawls to the door, leaves, and when I follow him out ever so slowly goes crawling off back home. Crawling at literally a snail's pace. He somehow got permanently crippled. Good luck getting home buddy. Godspeed.

I don't get many glitches, but there's one that I do know.

Playing Ratchet: Gladiator for PS2, got to a point on Planet Sarathos where I'm supposed to hack two security orbs to open a door. While you hack them, a horde of swarmers pop up and attack you, so by hacking only one you can get an infinite number on enemies, which means an infinite supply of bolts and experience. However it seemed that they sent out a Champion because in situations like these, the game spawns a single immortal enemy that isn't even affected by my attacks, causing me to run around and end the round so that I can just go on.

Wasn't really a glitch, but it was a pretty funny accident. I let my friend play on my Diablo 2 account way back in the day. First thing he does; takes my level 92 Necromancer on Battle.net, instead of clicking select character, clicks delete character. He absentmindedly pressed yes at the confirmation window.

    Hours of gameplay. Gone.
