    Personality: To an observer, Smug is quiet, calm and ladylike. To those who know her, she is sharp-tongued, more stubborn than a bull but still ladylike. Though she seems quick to anger, she is even quicker to forgive.
    Except if you invade her privacy.
    Smug doesn't put much stock into small talk, though she can bluff and BS her way out of anything.
    Due to her stubborn nature, Smug is loyal to the end. She never gives up if she believes there is a chance. Give her reason enough, and she shows her true might. Smug is quite honest and morally straight, traits she claims cause her more trouble than anything else. But refuses to become anything else because they remain the last shreds of her childhood, after she blew up Leaf Palace. She is also borderline depressed and has suicidal tendencies (something that causes Grace grief). Though she ignores it and pretends she's normal. Despite her strengths, Smug is a coward, trying to duck out of the spotlight or hiding behind selfish reasoning.

    Specialties: Illusions, channeling ambient magic, antimage constructs, warding

    Powers: slight immunity from antimagic, ability to manipulate antimagic, siphoning and channeling ambient magic

    Weapons: MB (a magitech gun), bow when necessary.

    Appearance: Smug is a short girl, reaching about 5' 1"... standing on her tip-toes. She has long light brown/dark dishwater blonde hair and soft peach skin. She has chin length bangs that frame her face and part of her hair is pulled back into a fountain ponytail, held up a pink bow. She has light grey-blue eyes and wears reading glasses.
    Smug wears a pink camisole with a black shrug, black leggings that reach just past her knees, black and white ankle boots, white lace gloves and a pearl necklace.

    Pokémon: Grace the Gardevoir and Bubbles the Hydreigon.

    Special Equipment: MB, a magitech gun that can switch between shooting bullets and magic bolts.

    Background: When she was 13, Smug was taken away from her home world and thrown into a strange land, filled with strange people and forced to be the hero of a strange war due to a misinterpreted prophecy.
    She gave them the middle finger and left, as soon as she could. Angered, they began to hunt her down and Smug was forced to defend herself by creating a spell that was later named "Walpurgisnacht" after an anime character. Casting the spell nearly killed Smug, but she was luckily found by a pair of mercenaries named Jill and John.
    Seeing her might, they asked her to help their people... who turned out to be the enemies of the people who stole her away, the W'sins.
    Fueled by anger, Smug (re)created a weapon of immense power... Antimagic and it's more potent form; antimage.
    The victory quickly began hollow for Smug when she realized how many innocents she had killed with her weapon. So she destroyed all knowledge of the weapon and swore that she would never react in anger.

    Years passed as Smug began to explore the multiverse and began to forgive herself. The once strong desire to return home dimmed as she began to explore and understand new cultures, learning more magic and gaining new knowledge. It was shortly before she found the City-State of Lake Valor, or LV City as it is more commonly called, that she discovered her potential as a Benevolent Mage and how to wield that power.
    Since coming to LV City, she lived a quiet life until the beloved announcer was taken and she was thrown into the life-long struggle of good vs evil.

    Background: Janet was raised on the streets from a young age, where she discovered her ability to convince people to do what she wanted. When she was 14, Janet was hired to kill Citamorcha. She nearly succeeded, though she was thwarted, accidently by Bob. Thinking quickly, Janet put Citamorcha under her influence, so he wouldn't kill her but instead induct her into the group. After a year, she began to be groomed for the position of the next Citamorcha.

    Other: Janet is part demon, so she has a "get out of death free" card, doing so will make her full demon. The only reason Janet isn't actively trying to conquer LV City is because she's too smart to get on the heroes' bad side. Or so she wants to appear.

    Personality: Bob is a gentle soul, who cares deeply for his loved ones. If his life had taken a different path, he would have been a hero. Though, he is more than willing to get his hands dirty to help his loved ones.
    Under Janet's influence and power, Bob became borderline amoral and willing to do anything for his goals. Not caring what price he has to pay to achieve them.

    Appearance: Bob is shorter than Janet by a few inches, about 5'9''. He cuts a rather intimidating figure, being quite buff. He keeps his ginger hair in a short ponytail and has piercing hazel eyes.

    Background: Bob was born to an abusive home, but when he was still young, his family was killed during a gang squabble. He ran away and was found by a grunt of Citamorcha's, who recruited him.
    Bob rose through the ranks and became the youngest general when he accidentally thwarted an assassination attempt.
    He was later ordered to train the would be assassin, a tween named Janet.
    Despite her unyielding personality, he began to see her a little sister.

    Personality: Ashlee can be very shy when meeting new people. However once she gets to know them, she'll be a different person to them. To Ashlee, her friends and family are more valuable to her than her own life. She'd do anything to save them. She's also a Pokémon Trainer; in other words, she attends to travel around a lot with her Pokémon. Thanks to all the schooling she's done, she's also somewhat educated.

    Special Equipment: A special stone Smug gave her while at the castle. It is said to help one fly for a limited time.

    Background: Due to her powers that others sensed, everyone started to pick on her and treat her terribly. When she was 5 years old, she met a chao that had hatched and saw Ashlee when it was first born. Ashlee decided to name her Luna as she noticed the cresent moon on her cheek and stomach. However, one company wasn't enough. For the time when she started schooling and 15 years, other people around her at her age and even adults treated her terribly and refuse for her to participate in any activities due to their fear of her power. One day, a friend she use to trust had backstabbed her and made her try to commit suicide; but was rescued by the current an "angel" who had noticed her sadness. The "angel" had told Ashlee another dimension that she could live in with her chao friend Luna, Mobius or Sonic's World. When Ashlee and Luna arrived to Mobius, they were first introduced to a Pokémon called Absol, who had been transported too from the Pokémon World. At first, he didn't trust her. But as time went on, the disaster he sensed kept getting stronger and felt that fate had dragged him to Ashlee for a reason; so, he joined her and Luna. Ashlee, Luna, and Absol were soon encountered by the hell hounds at times; however on the 5th time, it had brought great tragedy. The hell hounds had killed Luna the Chao; thus awakened the darkness in Ashlee's heart. Other people, immediately, sensed the sudden change and took action. At first, they were going to kill Ashlee, but Absol, Becky a new friend Ashlee met, and someone else had managed to calm to demon aura energy down and free Ashlee from the darkness for some time. Sensing that the darkness can rise again, the "angel" had given Ashlee a stone with a turquoise gem that could counter back this new power stored in her, the light Stone. Ashlee then decided to travel around the world with Absol to learn new things. They soon ran into a Plusle, a shiny Fennekin, Flygon, and Azumarill. During her travels with the 5 Pokémon, she discovered the Absolite which is said to give an Absol incredible power. Though, Ashlee never understood or believed it's tale. She only got Absol the Absolite as a lucky charm and to help celebrate their long 1 year of friendship. Absol then handed her a rainbow colored stone with a strange symbol on the inside, the Keystone. During one of the battles, Ashlee and Absol had then discovered what this new power they kept hearing about, Mega Evolution! With this new power, they had made friends with a bunch of other Pokémon and discovered a new dimension, Acopalysis: a place for Pokémon, animals, humans, and many other mythical creatures live all together. In this newly discovered dimension, they made themselves a home. And now, Ashlee, her new family and friends, as well as the other creatures that joined them have kept living on.

    Personality: Absol has always been known as the "Lonewolf" when it comes to solving problems. When he's around humans, he'll attack them thanks to what happened in his previous family. But for others it depends on how he sees them.

    Specialties: Super Luck, has high chance of hitting critical hits. Can mega evolve thanks to his Absolite given to him as a gift from Ashlee. In mega form, Magic Bounce, can reflect status and stage effects.

    Powers: Psycho Cut, Megahorn, Night Slash, and Foul Play

    Background: Before he met up with Ashlee, Absol had another family he use to live with, his mate a female shiny Absol named Angel along with their two offspring, a female Absol named Kana and a shiny male Absol named Hiro. One day, a bunch of poachers came around and killed Angel and took away his two children. For several months he's been searching to find his children. When he found the poachers' hideout, the children were already sold off to a someone else. Once he found the children, the trainers they were with had left them there after a tough battle leaving them to die and bleed to death. He didn't have time to save them since their wounds were too deep to heal; so they passed away just like Angel did. Angered by the humans, he vowed to kill any human that comes his way. As a year passed, he somehow got transported to a different world after getting involved with an accident. There, he met Ashlee along with her chao Luna. He was surprised to see such a strange human, but realizes she's not human at all. Still, he ignored them and tried to find a way back. But after several encounters with Ashlee later, he decided to stay around. Something about her really took his attention by surprised. And it turned out for a good reason. He discovers about Ashlee's past and now pities her. So, he decided to take her in, as her first Pokémon for a trainer and as a father for a child. He taught her most of the ways live in the wild; but in return, she taught him how to trust others.

    Personality: Plusle is the kind of Pokémon that lightens up one's spirit when their down thanks to her being the Cheering Pokémon. She loves to play games with her friends. Although, she can be a bit shy to others; but, she can warm up to them once she sees they have a good heart.

    Specialties: Lightning Rod, draws electric attacks to her and increases her special attack.

    Powers: Thunderbolt, Signal Beam, Copycat, Thunder

    Background: Plusle was from the world she normally lives in now with Ashlee and the rest of her friends. She left her old family when she felt like she's old enough to go on an adventure of her own. She met Ashlee and Absol when they had just started their journey as well. Since then, the three of them had been on adventures together.

    Personality: Reshiram gives information to others very seriously. It usually remains in its Poké Ball to not attract attention from others.

    Specialties: Turbo Blaze, moves will hit regardless of other Pokémon's abilities.

    Powers: Blue Flare, Fusion Flare, Dragon Pulse, Psychic

    Background: Reshiram, like all legends say, helps others who seek a hero to find truth. One day, it got into battle with its brother Zekrom to see which one is correct, truth or ideals. Thanks to their battle, they both exhausted themselves into two stones, the light stone and dark stone and had fallen to a long sleep. Years later, someone discovered the light stone and released Reshiram. The one who awoken Reshiram tried to use the dragon of truth for his own purpose which angered Reshiram into a rampage thanks to the force the owner tried to do to it. Destroying the owner is not enough to settle its anger. So, it starts to attack every area it sees. But then, it met Ashlee along with Absol, Plusle, Fennekin, Azumarill, and Flygon. It decided to battle them to get them out of its way. So far, it was winning since it took out 4 out 5 of Ashlee's Pokémon. When it was about to finish Absol, Absol had began to mega evolve for the first time. Seeing his strength and what his and Ashlee's reasons for stopping it, it stops attacking, but left itself a perfect target to be captured. Once it was let out, it hears Ashlee asking how it was feeling and what it should do. Sensing Ashlee's feelings about seeking truth, it decided to join her on her journey and stayed with her group ever since.

    Lucario

    Name: Lucario

    Role: Antihero

    Species: Pokémon (Lucario)

    Alignment: Neutral Good

    Likes: Protecting others from harm, Adventure, warriors, and light type creatures/Pokémon.

    Dislikes: Dark aura, others with an evil heart, and being called weak.

    Personality: Lucario is usually like a knight without a master. He'll defend others from harm who have a nice heart that he can sense especially children. He mostly uses his special aura when he senses one with a dark aura.

    Specialties: Inner Focus, does not flinch. His aura is a different color than other Lucarios' aura. His is more of a light turquoise color.

    Powers: Aura Sphere, Force Palm, Iron Tail, Extreme Speed.

    Weapons: None

    Additional Allies: Ashlee, Absol, Plusle, Reshiram, Sylveon, and Milotic

    Special Equipment: A device that allows him to hide his aura from others. He usually wears it on his left ear which also has a screen attached to it that hides his turquoise eye from others.

    Background: When Lucario was a Riolu, his parents and siblings were killed by a group of shadow Pokémon for no particular reason. An elderly Lucario took him in and trained him on how to use his aura. But just like his family, the Lucario he called, master, had also been murdered by Shadow Pokémon. One thing came into Riolu's mind, revenge. He went around killing every Shadow Pokémon he can sense and wouldn't stop. But he evolved to a Lucario, he then discovers that not all shadow Pokémon are happy with who they are. Feeling guilty for his actions, he decided to find a way to cure Shadow Pokémon from their dark aura. He then discovers about some sort of "light" aura that can cure shadow Pokémon if used properly. He decided to take on this new power to try and master it. When the final exam came to make him a full fledge "light" aura user, he had to find a way to defeat and cure the shadow Pokémon or he would die. During his exam, he kept getting beaten up and close to death. However, Ashlee stepped in with her Pokémon and defeated the Pokémon. Despite failing the test, he got to keep his aura and live, but will need to be extra cautious with it. When he met Ashlee again, he decided to thank her for saving his life by traveling with her and her Pokémon. And now, he travels with the group he now calls his friends.

    Sylveon
    Name: Sylveon

    Likes: Comforting others, soft objects, flowers, and clear night skies.

    Dislikes: pointy objects, cloudy and rainy days, and seeing angry faces.

    Personality: Sylveon is one of the three eevee sisters Ashlee owns. Sylveon is kind of like Plusle's personality, but she uses her ribbon like feelers to help her cheer others up. She when it comes to situations, she often runs away from them unless it's a Pokémon battle.

    Specialties: Pixilite, changes normal-type moves to fairy-type

    Powers: Moonblast, hyper voice, Reflect, and Draining Kiss

    Weapons: None

    Background: In the past, Sylveon and her two sisters, (shiny) Umbreon and (shiny) Glaceon, use to live in an Espeon pack when they were Eevees. When they told the leader what they really don't want to be an espeon, they were banished from their group to fend for themselves. Luckily for them, Ashlee found them and decided to help raise them to who they want to be. Her oldest sister was the first to evolve. She became an Umbreon. Her second sister became a Glaceon. And finally, Eevee became Sylveon. As her sisters remain with some of Ashlee's other Pokémon, her, Ashlee, Absol, Plusle, Reshiram, Lucario, and Milotic start off on their new journey.

    Personality: Milotic likes make peaceful looking place environments more peaceful by singing gentle like lullabies to Pokémon around her. She mostly stays calm when it comes to situations.

    Specialties: Competitive, if a stat has lowered, then her special attack is increased by two stages.

    Powers: Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Dragon Pulse, and Disarming Voice

    Background: Milotic was actually a Feebas when Ashlee found her. All of the Pokémon use to make fun of her where she use to live. But when she finally evolved thanks to Ashlee, she realizes how other Pokémon changed their expressions on her. She at first wanted to ignore other Pokémon, but was taught by Ashlee not to do so. After discovering her singing and sees how other Pokémon enjoy it, she found peace. She still travels around with Ashlee, but also likes to teach other Pokémon about giving others a chance.

    Name: Shiny

    Role: Other. Acts disruptive and on occasion hostile.

    Age: She's existed as an entity since Arceus created the universe, but she's only had physical form for a bit over 1,000 of those years.

    Gender: Female


    Species: Pokémon Gijinka. Ish. I don't know if this counts as a species, but eh.


    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral, occasionally see-sawing to Chaotic Evil.

    Likes: TrainerRythin's Leppa Berry juice (pretty much alcohol), annoying others, natural storms, and talking to others.

    Dislikes: Humans, being interrupted or ignored, long speeches about heroism, anything having to do with Arceus, anything entering the Distortion without her permission, not knowing something, and fire.


    Personality: Shiny is a very insecure being, which is the root of most of her behaviors. She finds humor in manipulating or hurting others, mostly because she doesn't want to admit to herself that she's has been hurt. She despises most beings, but specifically human beings, because she believes that Arceus forsook her for them. She experiences rapid mood swings between anger/depression and manic joyful energy when under stress.


    Specialties: Creating portals, mostly between the Distortion and reality; dark energy/antimatter.


    Powers: She can open portals between the Distortion and Reality using any reflective surface, she can shapeshift into the Pokémon giratina, she can utilize some Pokémon attacks (shadow force, dragon claw, etc) and dark energy (mainly non-offensive, as in illusions).


    Weapons: No physical weapons


    Appearance: Shiny appears to be a human female of indeterminable age. She has nearly white blonde hair in a short and mangy cut, yellowish pale skin, carnivorous shaped teeth, and eyes that are almost entirely black with sky blue irises. She has a pocket of dark energy in her upper back, out of which sprout six dark tendrils of energy that she can also form into wings. She wears black slacks and a blue tee-shirt under a silver and black hoodie, with a hole in the back for her wings/tendrils. Her arms, legs, and face bear what appear to be tatoos of her Pokémon form's markings.

    Background: Shiny was created at the beginning of time and space as a buffer between the two forces. She embodied balance, preventing time or space from clashing too violently and balancing their power. After the universe had existed for a while (cough three generations of games cough) Arceus decided to give physical form to Shiny, Palkia, and Dialga. Upon gaining physical form, Palkia and Dialga realized the extent of the damage their warring could cause, and swore not to do battle. Her purpose of balance no longer needed, Shiny formed her powers of balance into the Griseous Orb and hid it away inside the Distortion realm. She instead became an embodiment of antimatter, existing apart from time and space.

    As time continued to go on, Shiny enjoyed entering reality and conversing with the Pokémon of the realm. Humans, however, despised her out of fear, so she avoided them. After a many years of living among other Pokémon, a nearby settlement of humans believing her to be a demon burned down the forested spring she lived in. This killed nearly every Pokémon inside, and severely damaged her. Arceus spared her by giving her a new undamaged form, one that appeared almost human.

    When Shiny awoke again and saw humanity unpunished for their violent actions, her friends perished in fire, and her new form being nearly human, it broke something inside her mind. She believed that Arceus cared only for humanity and was blind to other beings, and so she unleashed her power in an attempt to eradicate humans. Arceus sealed her away for her violent actions, locking her in the Distortion world.

    Shiny's seal wore away as centuries passed, until she was able to once again slip into reality. She doesn't act in large scale out of fear of being struck down by Arceus, but she does take pride and humor in making humanity and its heroes stumble as a long-lasting act of revenge.

    Name: Palkia, or Paul


    Role: Hero. He wishes mainly to help protect others.


    Age: Physically he is as old as Shiny, but mentally he is approximately 12 years old

    Species: Also Pokémon gijinka and I need a better species name gah


    Alignment: Lawful Good, sometimes to a fault


    Likes: Anything with lots of bright colors, being around other people, protecting others, Shiny, and banana flavored candy.


    Dislikes: Being lied to, dark magic, violence, long silences, and being questioned about the past or his attitude


    Personality: Palkia is a rather childish being. His outlook of the world is often perceived as ignorant due to his undying optimism and cheerful attitude, but he simply chooses to see the world in a positive light. He has made it his mission to not only engage in combat as infrequently as possible, but to keep others out of danger and conflicts. He loves to speak and act, and sometimes does so without much forethought. He continues to keep moving without a moment to dwell on the weight of the past.


    Specialties: Teleporting and transportation magic, supportive light energy such as shields


    Powers: He can teleport through most spacial barriers, he can transform into the Pokémon Palkia and use some Pokémon moves, he can conjure constructs made of spacial energy (a shield, a wall, etc)

    Appearance: Palkia appears to be a young teenage human male. He has light pink hair in a longer, shaggy cut over his eyes, grey-blue eyes, and pinkish pale skin. On his back at his shoulder blades are two triangular wing-like appendages, and on the back of his hands are two pinkish pearls. He wears a white flannel shirt with pink khaki pants.

    Background: At the beginning of time and space, Palkia and Dialga warred violently. Only the intervention of balance kept them from bringing ruin to the world in their battles. Eventually, Arceus decided to give physical form to the warring beings and their mediator.

    Upon gaining physical forms themselves, Palkia and Dialga felt the weight of the physical damage they had been causing in their battles. Stricken with guilt, they swore never to do battle again, and their mediator entrusted them with the balance of the world.

    Dialga grew cold from the realization of the damage he caused. His guilt overcame him, and he believed that he was not worthy of physical form when he had done so much physical damage. He withdrew from the world, protecting it from an outside perspective once more.

    Palkia stayed among the physical world, but his guilt haunted him as well. He altered his own mind, regressing into a childlike ignorance so that he could avoid the memory of what his power had done. He wanders the physical world, driven by a to him incomprehensible will to protect the world and its people as atonement for the damage he caused.

    Special Equipment: Wears a faceless full-visor helm constructed of enhanced and lightened titanium with a navy blue visor constructed of an extremely rare metal that acted as one-way glass stronger than steel, capable of receding in and out of the helm to reveal Rythin's face. It is the current residence of Argo and is believed to amplify his combat abilities, though nobody knows but Rythin himself.<br />
    <br />
    Background: Orphaned at an early age, Rythin turned to crime for many years of his life. Living as a pickpocket for four years, he is distrustful of people, particularly those that claim to be adults. At 12, he was making a quick run for cash to get something from the market when he was captured by his intended target, who proceeded to take him far away from the city. Upon reaching their destination, a hidden village known as the Sanctuary, the man explained to Rythin that he was part of a guild, a very secretive and introverted group that few knew anything about.<br />
    <br />
    Though he was distrustful at first, Rythin surrendered himself and was integrated into their society. Six months later had him complete the Brotherhood Ceremony, a ritual performed once the subject was considered to truly be one of them. He enjoyed life there for many years, though it was not without its challenges.<br />
    <br />
    At thirteen and five months, he was captured by an unknown assailant, and was held captive for five months before escaping, barely clinging to his sanity. He'd shut down from the world, refusing to tell anyone what had happened to him and not interacting unless absolutely necessary. It was Argo that healed him from his depression, talking to him every day and refusing to be ignored. To this day, she is the only one that knows what went on in his prison.<br />
    <br />
    After his escape and slow return to sanity, Rythin and Argo were inseparable. She was older than him by nine months, and he often followed her on missions. Two years went by, and the two were closer than siblings. It was during this time that he fell in love with her. They could oft be seen hanging around the Sanctuary, idling the time away, merely content to be in each other's company.<br />
    <br />
    It couldn't last. He returned to his prison at fifteen and ten months in an espionage operation. It was supposed to be simple: get in, listen for a few days, and get out. Sadly, it was not to be. On the third day, he and Argo were found at their camp in the forest east of the compound by a group of mercenary dark mages. Surprised by the sudden assault, Rythin and Argo barely managed to escape, Rythin severely wounded. They' nearly made it to a town that could help them when their pursuers caught up to them. Argo was slain, and Rythin was left barely alive. Enraged at her death and his own failure, he let out a powerful blast of energy, enveloping the mages that had attacked them.<br />
    <br />
    Distraught, he returned to Argo's side where he kept her company, confessing his love on her deathbed and taking her pain upon himself. He remembers it sometimes in order to never forget the past. They talked about random, pointless things, trying to keep their minds off of what was to come. He worked to make her last minutes of life as enjoyable as possible.<br />
    <br />
    Twenty-three minutes and sixteen seconds after he returned to her, Argo, &quot;The Tempest&quot; had died.<br />
    <br />
    Consumed by grief, Rythin returned to the Sanctuary and trained himself to be as powerful as possible. Though he was unable to utilize his ability as he had against the mages, he learned to utilize his power. Sadly, he sunk further into depression, and turned to dark magic. He became highly skilled in the dark arts, learning necromancy, soul magic, and advanced curses capable of doing unspeakable things.<br />
    <br />
    It was at this time, four months after Argo's passing, that did that which was considered impossible. Reading furiously for days on end, he finally came to a spell that would enable him to bring Argo's soul back to the material realm. Constructing a large ritual circle in a secluded grove outside of the Sanctuary, he began preparing to return his partner.<br />
    <br />
    It was not to be. He'd done everything correctly as it should have been, but it seemed that fate had other ideas. The magical backlash of the failed ritual startled everyone in a three kilometer radius, including the residents of the Sanctuary. Fearing the worst, they ran as quickly as possible to where he'd been doing the magic, concealing themselves in the shadows. What was there surprised every one of them.<br />
    <br />
    The grove was destroyed, rock strewn throughout and the walls scarred permanently by the dark energy that was used within. Trees were felled and massive black gashes and long scorch marks scattered throughout. A foul, almost oppressing aura could be felt in the air. In the middle sat the form of sixteen-year-old Rythin, crying softly, reverently holding something in his trembling hands.<br />
    <br />
    His helmet, a masterpiece said to be crafted by Heatran himself, was glowing a soft blue, and crackling with energy. He cradled it in his arms, whispering softly. They stood, amazed, as he slipped it on and walked away without a word. However, those more in tune with the universe's magics (once they got more used to the sickening aura of the ritual in the area) said they had detected two souls where there was only one before. Closer investigation had them dropping to their knees. There was no mistaking it.<br />
    <br />
    That was the soul of Argo &quot;The Tempest&quot;.<br />
    <br />
    Rythin returned to the Sanctuary five days later, smiling without a care in the world, and threw himself back into old routine before Argo's death. People wondered what had made the teenager so happy, but they never got the chance. Rythin was rarely seen without his helmet on, and it was often hermetically sealed around him. Fortunately, his visor was often down, and he seemed to be quite content for several months.<br />
    <br />
    However, Rythin was assisting one of his friends at the sanctuary when the unthinkable happened. She'd been working on a preservation spell designed to be used on wounds to stop bleeding and prevent infection. Unfortunately, she lost control when one of the runes used to initally power the magic went haywire. The spell backfired, blasting her against the wall and destroying the house. Once the rubble was cleared, Rythin was found in a magical stasis, eyes still wide open in concern. He was sealed away in the temple of Arceus after failing to wake for several years.<br />
    <br />
    Two centuries later, he was returned to the world when the spell collapsed after a magically-charged storm struck the area where he'd been sealed. Dazed and incredibly confused, he wandered around, finding himself in an unknown city. Shocked by the sudden turn of events, he consulted with Argo, who'd been bound to his helmet. She'd told him to try and adapt to the world, and make a name for himself. Agreeing, he set out, eventually finding Lake Valor and making a home there.<br />
    <br />
    Unfortunately, his hardships in life had left him jaded and distrustful towards others, and he mostly stayed to himself, devoting his time to learning about the new world. Now he lives at a small home a few kilometers out of Lake Valor, living with his Pok&eacute;mon and Argo.</p>

While they both made it out okay, she got hit by a glancing blow from an axe that was heavily enchanted, shearing through her armor. Probably should have noticed that Rythin loved her when he quite literally went axe-crazy, stealing the weapon of the one that hit her and brutally destroying the rest of the ambush. Her scar from Rythin was recieved during an assault on an enemy fortress six months later, deep behind their lines. He was trying to set up magical explosives when she came behind him and poked his shoulder, startling him. He reacted on reflex, shooting out with Lux Caelis, and apologized furiously. It did not help when he detonated the explosives ten minutes later while working on them.</div>

    <div>She was in the medical tent at the time, and was being bandaged for her wound after it had been cleaned out and closed. She and her nurse had been quite surprised to hear an earth-shattering explosion coming from another part of their camp. It was later said she had paled noticeably, before running out, regardless of her wounds. She ran to the blast site and screamed loudly. Rythin had blown himself up, and only serious medical attention and generous use of thaumaturgical power kept him from scarring. He considers it his greatest mistake to this day. It was also this day when she realized she loved him.</div>

    <div>After her death, she wandered Elysium for a while, lamenting that she could never love Rythin, before she felt a tug on her soul. Surprised, she nevertheless accepted the pull, and was removed from Death's hold. She was surprised to feel that she had been bound to a sapphire that was embedded into the back of Rythin's helmet, the same shade as her eyes, when she was alive. She listened as Rythin explained what he had done, and paled mentally when he spoke of the pain and the massive drain on his magic that was the price he paid to save her. She could feel that it had damaged his magical core, and he'd never be able to use much magic again. After berating him for days, she finally let up in the months before their stasis, and they enjoyed being together again as much as they could.</div>

He'd been going down the road in search of a Pokémon Center before stopping at the sight of a red patch in the snow. When he investigated, he found Alice as a young Eevee, unconscious and bleeding into the cold. Horrified, he quickly went over and used his abilities to slightly warm the air around them so she wouldn't freeze, before dressing her wounds as best he could.</p>

    <p>After bandaging her as best he could, Rythin gently picked her up and ran to the Center as quickly as he could, his energies accelerating his movements slightly. We were a self sustaining village, where people lived happily amongst each other, that is, until Citamorhca attacked. He burnt the entire village to the ground, and he killed everyone, including my parents."

    "While trying to get out of the rubble, Citamorcha found me, and he shot me. The last thing I saw clearly was Citamorcha laughing in triumph before vanishing. After that, things started to get out of focus. My vision became blurry. I knew I was going to die."

    "But, right when I was about to welcome to cold hand of death, he came. Arceus came down, and saved my life. I was the only one who survived. Once I had gotten back to health, Arceus said to me, "You show potential. No average human would be able to stay alive in the presence of Citamorcha for that long. I shall make you my disciple, my champion. You will get your revenge for what Citamorcha has done to you, and you will help me bring peace to this world." He gave me my power, and he treated me like a long lost son."

    Notable Physical Traits: Wake's shell as well as one out of three of his arm and leg segments seem to have a metallic sheen, and have small, evenly spaced bumps. His greens are slightly darker than ordinary.

    Bio: Wake was given to Derahex by a friend of his a long time ago. She was answering a calling, and couldn't continue training Pokémon. However, she wanted a capable trainer to take care of her Pokémon, and though most went to another friend, Wake went to Derahex.

    Wake has an overprotective complex, and hates to see anyone in pain. In battle, he frequently went to take blows for his teammates, consequently he was very often at the Pokémon Center, healing his numerous injuries.

    Worried that Wake could get mortally wounded in one of his excursions in other worlds, and to save him from spending eternities constantly recovering in centers, Derahex conceived a magic-infused alloy of Tungsten, artificially made to bond to DNA structures like adaptable biomass.

    The result: Wake now has a highly durable second skin that regenerates when damaged. It can be bonded or removed through a special process. Now Wake can be a masochistic martyr to his heart's content, without fear of permanent injury short of taking a shot from a battleship.

    Notable Physical Traits: Ingwaz's mane is much wilder than a typical Luxray. Her mutagen collar is metallic red in appearance, and has three small gemstone-like protrusions on the front. Obviously she sports black feathered wings.

    Bio: Ingwaz has been with Derahex for as long as she can remember. Derahex raised her from egg, and has always taken good care of her. Ingwaz has always acted regal, and maintains self-generated authority over Derahex's other Pokémon. In her younger days (And even now, sometimes) she would of often make petty disputes and take things Wake did as challenge, and play-fought him for alpha-female authority. Wake would let her win of course, as her authority was just a matter of personal pride, and isn't vicious.

    One of Ingwaz's secret dreams was to be able to fly. Derahex, with his great knowledge fueled by observation, developed a magic-aided collar that temporarily altered the genetic structure of the wearer, and made it so it adds wings to Ingwaz. Since Derahex would no doubt be using her as ride to get around, he took an extra precaution, in case they would meet up with trouble: Within the collar is a small magic flux, from which Ingwaz can draw upon to cast a skill commonly found on powerful Demons.

    Notable Physical Traits: Iktem's sheathe is noticeably pale. Her scarf and eye are deep teal tones rather than blue ones. The Vorpal Crystal is encrusted almost parallel to her eye, on the other side of the pommel.

Iktem rarely does anything unless it is worthwhile, and she is content with casually observing events transpire, waiting until the perfect moment comes.[/SIZE]

    [SIZE=10.5pt]She is perfectly fine in letting Derahex wield her as if she was a normal blade, as it lets her fully focus on powering her abilities through the Vorpal Crystal Derahex encrusted in her pommel. Derahex does the fighting, and Itkem has his back.[/SIZE]

    [SIZE=10.5pt]Iktem's anger is quick to rise, and pressing the wrong buttons may end you up with a sore face. Though what really grinds her gears is seeing a friend knocked down. Though, unlike Wake, rather than protect the fallen friend, Itkem will try to eliminate her comrade's pain at its source... Viciously.[/SIZE]

He has quite a few other projects in mind, and he always wonders whether he'll ever have time to undertake them all. His life has been mostly uneventful and peaceful, and he never suffered any great loss as of yet. Derahex considers himself to be very lucky in life, considering that others are much less fortunate.

    Personality: Shy and cautious, Aura is quiet and unassuming, usually choosing to remain silent rather than get involved in conversations, and is highly intelligent. However, to those who she knows better, she is more outspoken and social. She is a highly empathetic person, and cares greatly about others. Unfortunately, her shy demeanor sometimes makes it difficult for her to express her thoughts. She tries to focus on the better parts of the world, but is crippled by her own fears. Deathly afraid of combat and weapons, she has a difficult time dealing with hostile situations. However, she has a strong will and is willing to do many things for those she cares about.

    Powers: Aura possesses very potent psionic abilities, which mainly manifest in the form of contact-empathic abilities, which makes her extremely sensitive to the emotions of those she touches. She has a deathly fear of crowds, due to this. Her potential is not limited solely to this, however.

    Appearance: Aura has blonde hair with striking green eyes. Her most defining feature is the burn across the left side of her face, something she tries to hide whenever possible. She walks with a slight limp after her left leg was injured severely in an accident. Thin and petite, she stands around 5'4", and is very agile, despite her injuries.

    Additional Allies: Close to Rythin in the future, but is otherwise alone.

    Special Equipment: She has bands on her arms which protect her from her own abilities, limiting her psionic ability to contact-only empathy and mind-reading. These are almost never taken off, for fear of what may happen to her.

    Background: Aura was born into a normal family living in Lake Valor, but she was abandoned by them after she began to display powerful mental abilities and intelligence rarely seen among those her age. Her parents feared something monstrous was inside their daughter, and left her in the slums on her third birthday. There, she was found by a mage going by the name of Raven, who took her in for several years, teaching her about the world around her, and how to better control her power, as well as crafting the bands to help restrain her power. Sadly, Raven was killed in a magical accident when Aura was nine, an accident which destroyed their home and left Aura scarred and injured.

    Left alone once again, she was found by a member of one of the many gangs in the slums, who took her in and used her as a smuggler. However, she was treated poorly by the other members of the group, and the treatment only grew worse after her "sponsor" died mysteriously. She was forcibly kept in the gang, forbidden to leave for five years until the gang leader eventually grew tired of her, ordering her disposal. Rythin intervened, and the rest is history.
