Welcome back to Kalos! I'm back doing a Nuzlocke for Y version. It's been a long time I've done a Nuzlocke challenge on Y, so here we go again!

    Rules:

    - Only catch the first Pokémon you encounter in each route.
    - Defeated Pokémon are considered dead and must be perma-boxed
    - Can catch Legendaries, cannot use them
    - Trade evolutions are allowed
    - No healing items
    - Nickname all Pokémon
    - Battle is switched to Set (Meaning I don't get the option to switch out before a new Poke comes in, like competitive)

    Optional Rules:
    - No duplicate Pokémon
    - If you find a shiny Pokémon, you can use it no matter what it is despite the rules, until it dies. Or just perma-box it
    - Do NOT use the EXP Share, leave it off at all times
    - Scripted Pidgey event on Route 2 will not be counted. Nuzlockes are beautiful for the randomness, so having a scripted Pokémon forced upon you is unfair, same with Snorlax. I can still catch either but if I do catch them, then I can't use anything else on that route.
-Gift Pokémon can be accepted and do not count against your new catch.

I will be following all of the rules here. How is it harder? I implemented the no healing items rule. I didn't this before so it's become a lot harder now. I'll be updating more and more with my team and information about the journey.

So. I finally beat Gym one after a lot of hardships. I found quite a few Pokémon, which you will see in a moment, but I really dislike most of them. Out of anything though, the gym battle CRUSHED me and my soul. So early on too...

I began my adventure and everything was off to a great start. I decided to go with Froakie for my starter, and I named him Poseidon. As I went to Route 2 I caught myself a Pidgey, named Haweyes. I wasn't too happy with the nature of it but that was alright. Poseidon didn't have the best nature either, but again, oh well!

Now I was in Santalune forest. This is where it began to suck, my find there was Pansage, a Poke I really dislike. Luckily I managed to make it through the forest, thanks to Shauna. On my way to Satalune, I caught a Bidoof, and named it Useless. Again...I did not want this Pokémon! But whatever.

After arriving in Santalune and healing at the Pokémon center (Finally!) I dressed myself up and made myself look pretty cool! I can't wait to reach Lumiose so I can unlock more options for my trainer. I quickly went to Route 22 to find me a new Poke, and I got a Farfetch'd. I wasn't happy about this one either, but I thought I'd give it a try. Zephyr is what I named it.

We headed to the gym, confident to win. We beat all three trainers with no sweat, and after heading back to the center to heal, we took her on. Everything seemed great...but she decided to use infestation...so I couldn't switch. This claimed the life of Froakie. Now, one by one, all of my Pokes fell to her. The only hope left was an already weakened Zephyr. After surviving with literally 1 HP, I beat her with Aerial Ace. I've gotta hand it to Zephyr...it saved my butt. A perma member of the team, as long as it doesn't die.

ouch, that's a rough start there. if I were going to make a story about this, I'd probably have to consider it a sort of restart of the team. after some emotional drama
