Yeeeeep, I don't like heights either, which is ironic, considering I'm over six feet tall >_> i get super nervous when climbing stuff like obstacle courses, and even stepladders scare me sometimes. It sucks
I have no fear when it comes to heights. I actually sort of like that feeling I get when I'm high up and look down to be honest!
Once I rode a roller coater with my mom seated beside me. It started moving and I grabbed my mother's arm so tight! It slowly moved backward and then at full speed it ran forward! Aaaaaaaaaaaa!! I was the first one to scream! Hehe~ I got shivers and my heart started pounding hard! It was scary! But, the experience was fun! ^-^
I dont like roller coasters, but I'm overall fine with heights. Its just the quick speeds, and if it goes sideways and upside down and all around I aint even trying. I have never gone on a particularly big or scary or potentiality dangerous roller coaster.
There's only one circumstance in which I'm bothered with heights, and it's when I'm standing on the ground, near the base of a building, and then look straight up. Witnessing the sheer height of a pillar going straight up is staggering, and a little bit dizzying as well. I suppose that's my own fault, since who in his or her right mind would look straight up at a building? Other than that, I don't really have problems with heights. That's just as well, since nothing where I live is particularly high up.
Sometimes I dislike heights, but most times I have no care in the world. I've stood 103 stories above Chicago in a glass box and it was literally the best thing ever, if I were afraid of heights I would've never been able to do that.
When I'm standing on the roof of a huge building and if I see a fire cracker launch up in the sky and burst, I feel like I'm going to collapse!
Heights don't bother me too much, but I do admit that I feel a bit uneasy sitting or standing near a ledge or cliff that is reaaaaaally high.
I am not sure if acrophobia is the same as vertigo, but I tend to feel dizzy if I look down from a cliff. Other than I can climb to sort of tall places so I don't think I am scared of heights.
Acrophobia is not the same as vertigo, no. Acrophobia can cause vertigo, but acrophobia is just the fear itself. Vertigo is the sensation involving moving objects and dizziness.
I can climb tall hills too. That is a thing I like. But other than that, like tall buildings, I feel really scared!
I love flying, roller coasters/drop towers, and the Space Needle. But I hate stepladders. And I have NOOOOOOOO idea why...
I don't like roller coasters, but it's because of nausea, not heights. Otherwise I think I'm as afraid of heights as any logical person would be; standing on a roof and looking straight down, for example, will scare me. But being on the top floor of a building and looking through a window won't.
Riding roller coasters is fun. But my acrophobia haunts me every time I look at the coaster and doesn't allow me to ride it most times...
Flying - Awesome...as a pilot in training, ya can't be scared of heights in the cockpit. I'm okay with roller coasters...can't really do much of the upside down stuff. Overall, heights never really bother me unless they're in the extreme or I'm on something that doesn't have good structural integrity.
