Hello Everyone, this is a tutorial for Adobe Digital Editions
. This program allows you to read EPUB, PDF and ACSM files, the purpose of this tutorial is to help you add files to your Nook through the program. The Current version is 2.0 and download and installation shouldn't take more then seven minutes
. Do not have your nook connected during the installation, this is important because the program will need to recognize your Nook. When you open the program you should see a empty library, a box will pop up asking you to authorize your computer; you will need to either enter your Adobe Id and Password or create one
. If the box doesn't pop up please click help in the tool bar, some options should come up; the first one is the one you want (it's Authorize your Computer). Next, you can now plug in your nook and another box should pop up asking you to authorize your device. After authorizing your device you can now add your files to the library.
. To add files go to File in the tool bar then select add to Library, you can select one item or many. It's very important that you select the right file type, if you don't your file will not open; the options for files are PDF/ EPUB or ACSM. Now that your files are in the Library you will see them listed Alphabetical, last read or date added; you can change the order to anything you want.

To add a file to your nook select the file and drag it onto the nook's icon, when you select the nook Icon you will see a list of items that are on your nook (there should be nothing in the library except for the file you just put there). Finally, go to your nook on your desktop (or where ever it shows up) and select it; there should be a list of folders (list.dir, my files, screen savers and Digital editions); digital editions is the file manager for all adobe digital files {any file you put on your nook through Adobe Digital Editions will show up here.

*If you have a memory card in your nook drag the file from the digital editions folder to your memory card; make sure to delete the file so no doubles of the file shows up on your device. From the memory card drag the file to the designated Folder.
