Agent Shade's Ruby Nuzlocke Challenge

So I got Ruby on my computer on CoolROM.com, and since I can't transfer Pokémon from a computer, I'm using it for my first Nuzlocke.

Rules (for this playthrough)

- All Pokémon must have a nickname that originates from Asia.

- Only the first Pokémon I encounter can be caught; however, if I find I shiny, I can catch it regardless, but I cannot use it until I finish the route.

- If a Pokémon faints, I can release it OR keep it in a PC box and never use it.

- If I have no Pokémon that can use an HM required to complete the game, I can catch a 'slave' Pokémon that can use the HM, but I can only use it for the HM, I cannot battle with it.

-If I encounter a Pokémon I already have, I have the excuse to run from it and catch the second Pokémon I encounter instead.

- The Nuzlocke ends when I have no more Pokémon I can use OR if I beat the E4 & Champion.

I actually started this a few days ago, so I'm currently on Route 104, and my Pokémon are:

Hiroshi the Mudkip, Male Level 9

Takeshi the Wurmple, Male, Level 6

Hamako the Zigzagzoon, Female, Level 4

 

Oh yeah. I've heard about that rule, but I guess it slipped my mind. Yeah, I'm using that rule. Thanks for reminding me.

 

I'll do that with the next Pokémon I catch.

My update for today is that I literally just beat the first gym and I'm off to Route 116.

My current Pokémon:

Hamako the Zigzagzoon, Female, Level 11

Lu-Pan the Beautifly, Male, Level 11

Aiko the Whismer, Female, Level 10
