So as some of you may know, Hoopa's event has been released over here in Europe for download via code, obtained at participating GAME and Gamestop stores. The Pokémon Hoopa itself is a rather cute little critter, with that ever mischievous face of his, but can become the incredibly powerful (and rather awesome looking) Unbound Hoopa through use of a Prison Bottle.

I myself have fallen for the little (or, big depending on forme) critter, but what do you guys think of the new addition to our parties? Do you like the guy, or are you so-so? Or maybe you despise it? Would you say you'll use it competitively, or is it just there as a collectable? Or maybe there's other plans involved? Let us know!

I don't yet know if I'm going to have much of a battling use for him, but I do love the fact that there's finally a Psychic-Ghost to have around. Two of my favorite types that, despite their similarity as a supernatural type (as opposed to rock and water, for instance), haven't appeared combined yet. As much as I love that combination, I'm still waiting for Poison-Psychic and Poison-Steel combinations.

Something I don't get is the split learning of moves. At certain levels, he learns move A or move B depending on his forme. When I get my hands on a Hoopa, I'll need to figure out ahead of time what forme I want him to be in at those times.

I actually already had two Hoopa; one I hacked in so I could see it's Pokédex entry (because I'm a huge nerd) and then released because cheating is wrong, and one I got over Wonder Trade and traded the other day for a 6IV shiny Charizard. Needless to say, I'm a huge Hoopa-ite. I love both of it's forms, and am psyched to train up one I get from my local event soon!

Gamestop stores? Damn, I finally have a chance to get a legal hoopa (my other ones are simply duplicates of a Japanese event Hoopa I had won), and there aren't any Gamestop stores around... :(
Mehh, I think Hoopa's decent. I'm not really into Ghost/Psychic/Dark types, and I personally like Volcanion's design better. I do like Hoopa's story better though!

I have used Hoopa competitively before but I only used it's Confined form, and I thought it was awesome. I already have a Hoopa, but I might as well get two more. I love Hoopa a lot more than I did when I first saw it.

Well compared to the other mini-legendaries it could be cuter, but it still has a nice design and a good typing. I probably won't be able to get it though; not yet, anyway.

Hoopa is pretty cool. It's not my favorite but I do like the little guy. Well, I guess he isn't a little guy once he changes form. Anyway, I definitely want to add him to my collection!
