Alto's adventure is a game for IOS products, and mobile phones. The game follows Alto, a child who loves to snowboard, as he snowboards down snowy slopes and mountains, trying to catch the loose alpaca who have escaped. The game has you do tricks, run away from Elders, and complete different tasks and challenges.

Alto's adventure is a really fun game, and can be really addicting. The game has many upgrades to enhance your experience, and you may think "Oh well these upgrades cost ingame coins, i might as well buy some ingame coins with real money." Well no you cannot do this, there actually is no option to buy more ingame coins, you actually have to collect ingame coins, ingame. Shocking i know! Now Alto's adventure isn't free, but for a game that only asks for 1-2$, it's a fair deal. The game also has unlockable characters which also change the way you play, one of my favorites is Maya, as she can do backflips with ease. The game is still supported with each update bringing something fun and awesome. Literally you should have seen how excited i was when they updated last month.

A few gripes i have with the game are the challenges. As much as fun they are, there is an issue most players will have. You can only complete a set of 3 challenges. This means you cannot achieve other challenges until those 3 are complete. What happens is, lets say in the 3rd set of 3 challenges, it asks me to do a grind and a double backflip. Well wait a minute I already did this 2 sets back, why can't i automatically get this already. Again the games replay ability relies on you to repeat things you may or may have not done. This was so tedious and annoying for me, but no problem I managed to beat every challenge. Every 3 challenges = a level. In total there are 61 levels, so this game will last. The game is endless meaning there is no real end or end goal, but the slopes get tougher as you get farther and farther.

If you played Alto's adventure, what do you think of it? Do you think something as simple as this game could have more story to it? If you don't have the game, would you buy it just from reading what i wrote? If you do have the game, what level are you, and what is your favorite character so far?
