Hello everyone, welcome to my portfolio. I'll be posting and keeping up with my artwork and pictures here.
I hope you enjoy, and by all means, let me know what you think!


Watercolors
These are images I draw on my spare time, usually in the spring and summer. I enjoy sitting outside and soaking up the sunshine, like the many wild Grass Types that roam around the Ranch's perimeters.

Sakura Meadow's Pokémon (A-L)
These images are the pictures I've taken of the Pokémon that currently inhabit my the ranch where I work.

Abrus, the Ranch's Bulbasaur. She's a bit of a queen, she likes to order the other Pokémon around and throws tantrums when they don't do what she wants. Her hobbies include taking baths, relaxing in the sun, and being the boss.


Callis is the Ranch's spot of sunshine. She loves everyone, and wants nothing more than to be your friend. Her hobbies include "singing" (she produces a grass-whistle like sound when she's happy), gathering shiny objects and giving them to the other Pokémon, and cheering those up who appear to be sad.


Canducorn is probably one of the most energetic Dark Type Pokémon I have ever come across. She loves to run, fetch, and bark at anything, and she tries to find the best in everyone. She loves energetic activities (she takes up most of my day with all her play!), going for hikes, and training new skills.


Catbug is a really, really chubby Hoppip. He's one of many Grass Types on the Fire Type farm, and due to the influx of Grass Types I've had to build a new barn to accommodate. He's generally a pretty relaxed fellow, he just floats around and lets whatever happens happen. I've caught Candy using him as a beachball multiple times, though he doesn't seem to mind. I have no idea what his hobbies are, to be honest.


The best phrase I can find to describe Cupcake is "Royal". He walks mostly on his hind legs, and seems to solemnly... nod, every time he sees me. He plays well with the other Pokémon, and unlike some of the others on the Ranch he doesn't avoid Pokémon that are of a different Type than him. He does appear to be more careful around Grass Types, though. His hobbies include snacking, chatting (it's the best word I can find for it), and exploring the Ranch grounds.


Ah, Goret... While I was transporting him back to the Ranch, my carriage was assaulted by a pack of wild Mightyenna, causing the carriage to flip and Goret to become so scared he engulfed the thing in flames. He has an enormous problem with trusting anyone, and it's taken me weeks to introduce him to someone who doesn't scare him. After a few months, he has stopped attacking me on sight, though he still hides away whenever I'm near. I hope I can get on his good side soon... Prince seems to be a good influence on him.


Khan is my favorite Contest Pokémon. His fiery attitude and drive to win make him a great option for both Beauty and Cool type contests! His hobbies include training, strutting his stuff, and impressing my two Zebstrika twins, J. and G. Johnson.

Maestro. Now here is a Pokémon with a beautiful song. He's the one that wakes me up early in the morning. He loves to accompany me on my every day tasks, and helps me as much as he can, from fetching the paper for the land lords from the edge of the driveway, to helping me pour feed for the Ranch's inhabitants. His hobbies include singing very grandiose songs, being helpful, and getting scratched right under his chin.


Mandelyn is a pretty shy Misdreavus. I found her at the local Adoption Shelter when my Litwick started setting the place on fire trying to bust her out! I ended up cutting a deal with the Shelter's owner, where I'd take the Pokémon off her hands and fixed the pens for free and she wouldn't sue me. I'm not sure what Mandelyn and Flitwick (my Litwick) get up to when I'm not around, so I'm not sure what her hobbies are.


Prince is... a little like Catbug in the sense that he doesn't do much. I called him Prince because of the horns on his head reminding me of a crown. To be honest, all I want to do is hug him-but since I have to wear a lava-proof suit just to be in his vacinity, I'm sure that's not a reality I can live out any time soon. He does, however, enjoy when I interact with him. Sometimes when I pet his head, he practically falls apart in my hands! It's adorable. He's always on the move, however slowly, and his hobbies include... well, eating, being pet, and moving about, I suppose.


Princess is my very first Dragon Type Pokémon. She's also the first Ground Type Pokémon I've ever taken care of, too. She's extremely hyperactive and I can find her digging holes all the time. Lots of other Ranch Pokémon tend to avoid her, which I think makes her sad. She loves being around Cupcake though, and can often be seen "chatting" with him, though she mainly utters these squeaks and roars that, even to Cupcake, seem incomprehensible. She loves being treated like a Princess, though!


Other than Abrus, Rex is the Ranch's other grouchy grouch. He tends to only sit by the gate out at the entrance to the Ranch, barking at passers by. He fancies himself a Guard Pokémon, I think! He gets along great with my Arcanine Scharlotte, and the older can be seen training the younger in the way of Fire. His hobbies include being grumpy, barking at strangers, training, and being rubbed on his belly. Even the fiercest of Guard Dogs need affection, you know!


Scarlett is a Diva. She doesn't pay much attention to anyone, and spends most of her time lounging luxuriously in the windowsill inside my home. Her hobbies include laying around, picking on smaller Pokémon, and attempting to catch Flying Type Pokémon.

Every Day
Daily events that happen on the Ranch. I like to sit down and draw them when I have a moment.
They'll all be separate "spoilers" so that they're easier to read. They're fairly long, you see!

I was training Rex in the training grounds out back, and his reaction to figuring out Flame Wheel was absolutely hilarious! I simply had to draw it.

I took Rex on a hike through the park close to the Ranch. There, he met a beautiful Houndour named Lucia! I know Pokémon can't talk, but I imagine their conversation went something like this. When her trainer came to take her away, Rex still had this adorable puppy-love expression on his face.

Oh my, most of these seem to feature Rex. Well, I was observing how he interacted with some of the other Pokémon when Cally approached him, chirping happily. He simply rounded on her! I guessed their conversation went something like what is depicted above.

I also mentioned before how Princess loves being called and treated like a Princess. This is her usual reaction. She is just the most adorable, lovable land shark around!

Oh, my! When I was on a walk through town with Princess, a stranger approached us and said "No Princess is complete without her crown," and handed Princess a tiny tiara! Princess was simply over the moon. Thank you, stranger!

When I was visiting the Ranch where I picked up Goret, I sat down to observe their little Noibat. I was astounded when it taught itself Whirlwind by accident!! What an eventful day.

This special little Stunky was patrolling the Ranch where I picked up Candycorn. It's an Albino! What a rare find, I was really happy to be able to sketch this one in preparation for a more detailed painting when I got home. It's not often you see an Albino Pokémon!

Star was a beautiful Skarmory on a Ranch where I went to pick up Maestro. It was quite a lengthy process, so I busted out my sketchbook and set to sketching. I colored these when I got home.

Competitions
A section dedicated to pictures I took while I entered my Pokémon in Contests.

Khan practiced long and hard to nail Fire Blast! And he demonstrated it beautifully at the Beauty Contest being held in honor of the Carbunkle that appeared in the town.


Round 2 of the same contest as before! This was a Cool Contest. Khan performed Flame Charge, and with a lot of work and practice he managed to make the flames form around him in the form of Japanese Samurai armor! We didn't advance to the final round, but we left happy with a rare Silk Veil and a Soothe Bell.
