I'm sure there are some who prefer the anime to the games, but you have to understand that a lot of us played Pokémon first and then saw the anime (especially those of us who were kids in the 90s and played the original games), so there are going to be more who like the games. That said, there's nothing wrong with you not liking the games, and anyone who judges you on account of that should be ashamed of themselves.
Out of all Pokémon-related things I like, it's probably the games I like the least, mainly because there is no specialty towards Italy compared to the other main regions (Japan, USA). I like the TCG because they always hit stores a month before USA.
I prefer the games over all other media they promote Pokémon on. Aside from maybe the movies and the plushies.
That's an interesting take. Specifically I never liked the actual console games since I never owned one from the start and the odd minutes I racked up on friends' devices weren't that appealing. That said, I like the game aspect more than the other parts of Pokémon and played a ton of MMORPGS an other downloadable fan games. Would like to mention though, I probably would like the games if I ended up buying them and playing them for a while.
