"I... I think I'll stay behind for once. My dad can take the lead for one mission. And it's not like the whole team will crash and burn without a little Eevee leading them. Right?” you answered.



You give a nervous laughter.



"I appreciated your advice and experience throughout my journey. I regret not being able to come along but we both know I need more time and we don't have that." you said.



“Glad I can help, just be ready for the final fight.” said Bolt.



You nod.

"Who ever you choose for your team is going to do great, we have talented individuals in this fight, good Pokémon all of them."you said.



“We certainly got a good bunch. I have to take into consideration that the entire island is an iceberg though.” said Bolt.

"I am assured in your own talents, father. But I think they will be expecting you, be careful however saying that I also expect success." you said.



“I think they're more expectation you than me but I'll be careful.” said Bolt.

"Be assured I will rest up and train hard ready for whats to come." you said.



“Good.” said Bolt.

You smile.


"I look forward to your return, and your last pieces of advice when you get back to ready me for what will be possibly be our most glorious triumph to come, and with it peace." you said.



“Thanks Shine.” said Bolt.



With that, Bolt looks at your party for a bit.



“Well, Burst and Kaguya emit a lot of heat which would be bad on an ice burg. Chill is right at home there so I'll take her. Shedinja is invincible there so I'll take it as well. Lastly, Bun has a powerful Jump Kick so I'll take her as my last party member.” explained Bolt.



“It'll be so nice there.” said Chill.



Shedinja was silent as usual.



“Yay, finally some action.” cheered Bun.



You nod as Bolt takes off with his party. You're left with Burst, Fury, Razor, Cicada, Mew, Lunar, Kaguya, and Ivy.



You excuse yourself and walk around the guild. There are a few facilities you can use to improve yourself such as a sparing area, a move tutor, and item swap. You spend the morning at the move tutor trying to learn Sing, you fail and instead learn Hyper Voice, replacing Take Down. Not sure if good or bad.



You spend part of the afternoon hanging out with Burst and Lunar.



“I'm glad you took me along Shine, it's really nice to be apart of this, helping others and such.” said Burst.



“Same here, I thought of puling some pranks but with everything going on it's probably wasn't a good idea to mess with your progress by accident.” said Lunar.



You take a bite of a poke cake and it explodes in your face.



“Nice one Lunar...” you mumble.



Both Lunar and Burst laugh.



“Sorry Shine, it's what I do.” said Lunar.



You walk away to clean yourself off. After that you head to the sparring area where you have some practice matches against a few guild members.



In one match you surprised an over confident Gastly by Biting it after pretending to be helpless. In another match you take down a Pikachu but stand back and using your newfound Hyper Voice.



Match after match you won, sometimes tag teaming with Razor.



“Well look who it is.” said a familiar voice.



“We heard about some Eevee destroying various guild member and it turns out to me Miss-I'm-Too-Good-For-You.” said another familiar voice.



You look over.



“Zori, Petal, and Kitsune?” you asked.



Sure enough, the trio of shiny Pokémon you rejected in favor of Cicada show up.



“Hey guys, how you doing?” you greeted.



“Hey, don't go greeting us like an old friend, we hate you.” snapped Kitsune.



“Yeah, you turned us down in favor of a bug.” added Zori.



“Hold on a second, I had to choose one and we already had a fire type and dark type. Besides, Cicada evolved into two different Pokémon.” you pointed out.



“She has a point.” said Petal.



“Shut up Petal.” snapped Kitsune.



Petal cowered a bit at that.



“Anyway, we're here to settle the score. You've been fighting here, let's see how well you can handle us.” said Zori.



“We're gonna beat you good three vs. two.” added Kitsune.



“We'll see about that.” you said.



You knock Kitsune and Zori out with a single Hyper Voice. Petal runs away right as you launched the attack.



“Ow...” moaned Kitsune.



“That was embarrassing.” moaned Zori.



“Shesh, if Petal didn't ditch us like that we would have won.” moaned Kitsune.



“You both fell to a single Hyper Voice, Razor didn't need to move a muscle.” you noted.



You both walk away.



Ivy runs up behind you.



“Nice one there Shine.” said Ivy.



“Thanks Ivy, they didn't seem to have improved since we last seen them.” you said.



“So, what are you up to?” asked Ivy.



“Not much, just going around, visiting with my team, and relaxing.” you answered.



“Also, why were those guys so ticked?” asked Ivy.



“Well I got to pick one and only one to help me and I didn't pick them, I picked Cicada.” you answered.



“Wow that's pretty petty, them I mean.” said Ivy. Said Ivy.



“Yeah but I'm not going to worry about that, for now I need to prepare for the final fight.” you said.



“How do you know the next fight is the final one?” asked Ivy.



“I just have this feeling.” you said.



“Can't say I understand but ok. Anyway, I'm sure we'll be fine at the final fight.” said Ivy.



“Same here, we have a mythical Pokémon and an Ultra Beast on our side.” you said.



Mew flies by and waves, you wave back.



You then walk outside.



“Hey Kaguya.” you called.



“HELLO LITTLE BUDDY!” shouted Kaguya.



“What's happening?” you asked.



“NOT MUCH LITTLE BUDDY, KAGUYA IS ENJOYING THIS WORLDAND TAKING IN THE SIGHTS, ULTRA SPACE NOT HAVE HUGE OCEANS OR GRASS LIKE THIS.” shouted Kaguya.



You recall your brief visit there.



“Yeah it was different.” you said.



“LITTLE BUDDY HAS LOTS OF FRIENDS, KAGUYA MISSES FRIEND FROM ULTRA SPACE.” shouted Kaguya.



“I'm sure they're ok.” you said.



“KAGUYA AGREES BUT KAGUYA CAN'T HALP BUT WORRY.” shouted Kaguya.



You walk back inside to check on your friends after a nice day. You think about how much they have helped, how grateful you are, and your bond with them. You all gather in a room to discuss plans.



Suddenly stop moving and you feel funny, everything goes white and you're not sure what's going on. You feel a surge in power and you grow taller but still shorter than most of your friends.



“Whoa, Shine evolved.” said Fury.



You look in a mirror once it's all over and fin that you have indeed evolved into a Sylveon.



“Wow.” you said.



Katrina smiled.



“Let me show you something.” said Katrina.



After some quick instructions from Katrina you forget tackle and learn Psyshock.

An Eeveenture 22

You decide to keep that bow, simply putting it in your right ear, as a show of individuality.



You also decide to spend the morning coming up with a plan for your home coming party members.



You start by assembling a medical team discreetly with two stretcher bearers and one senior doctor, promising cake.

You visit the shop keepers, and ask to create a special order large cake that on the outside is brown with sand colored Cream, but internally is Pink and white,flavor wise I go for Chocolate, Strawberry, and Cream.

You inform everyone to treat you as no one particularity special, for your fathers surprise.

You wait at the dock, and you give a special guest with your new ribbon arms when you are walking up to the party.

You are relieved to see that the party is in good health. In fact, they seem unharmed outside of a few scratches. Bolts experience shows. You do notice and extra Pokémon behind them however, it remains silent.

You know that evolution naturally alters your voice, and you further mask it.

“Are you Spark?” you asked.


“Bolt, Spark is an electric attack.” replied Bolt.


“Hello, I'm Melody, I have been sent by Blade to escort you back to the guild. Your daughter will be joining you later.” you greeted.



Bolt starts writing something down on a piece of paper and folds it so you can't read it.



“It's nice to meet you Melody, you're quite lovely. Is that a fake ribbon?” asked Bolt.



“You noticed? It gives a sense of individuality.” you replied.



“It certainly does.” said Bolt.

“Is anyone hurt?” you asked.



“A few scratches and bruises, typical exploration stuff, especially in a dangerous place such as the Deep Freeze burg.” replied Bolt.

“Blade says you where a former member, how was work like in your day?” you asked.



“Strict but fair, it's hard work after all.” replied Bolt.



Bolts hands you the paper.



“Don't read it until I say to.” said Bolt.

You arrive back at the guild.

“Please take a seat.” you said.

You bow and motion with your ribbon.

After some time passes, the cake is cut showing is unique colorers.

“An interesting metaphor, of how something can appear as one thing, and yet be two.” you explained.



“Interesting, go on.” said Bolt.

“Its like when I was a Eevee, and yet inside was the possibility to become the Sylveon I am now, and vice versa while I am now the a Sylveon, inside is still a piece of the Eevee I was. Something that can apply to many things, like personality, appearance and personal history.” you said.


Bolt is listening carefully.


“That's right, I'm Shine. I evolved while you were away.” you revealed.



You wink.


“Evolution really brings a brand new perceptive, would you not agree Dad?” you said.

Bolt grins.



“You planned this well. Now then, why don't you read that paper I gave you?” said Bolt.



You open the paper. The note reads:



Dear lovely Sylveon,

I know it's you Shine, you can't fool me that easily.

“You knew the moment you seen me?” you asked.



“Of course, I'm your father. I knew you would pull something like this the moment I seen you evolved and I knew you would evolve any day now.” said Bolt.



“Are we just going to be ignored?” asked Bun.



“Yeah but it's a huge moment between father and daughter so of course Shine will pay more attention to him than us.” replied Chill.



“Sorry...” you apologized.



“It's cool.” said Bun.



Shedinja was silent as usual.



“You could say that we're chill.” said Chill.



Ba dum pish.



You spin around.

“So, what do you think?” you asked.


“Well you do look lovely.” said Bolt.



“Yeah, you remind me of Wash's mother.” said Chill.



You pause for a moment.



“Oh right, you never met her did you?” asked Chill.



You shake your head.



“She was a lovely lady, we should tell you more about her later on.” suggested Bolt.



You decide to change the topic.


“What happened out there?” you asked.


“Long story short, we arrived and it was freezing which was a good sign. We made sure to keep moving, most of it was the usual, using tactics to get by various Pokémon and such.” explained Bolt.



The strange Pokémon clear it's throat.



“Oh yes, this is Narcissa.” said Bolt.



“That's correct. I am what you call an Ultra Beast, a Pheromosa.” said Narcissa.



“DID KAGUYA HEAR THE NAME NARCISSA?” shouted Kaguya.



Kaguya peeked in the window.



“IT IS NARCISSA, KAGUYA WAS VERY WORRIED.” shouted Kaguya.



“I was worried too whenyou suddenly disappeared from the Ultra Space.” said Narcissa.



Narcissa joined the party.

Type: Bug/Fighting

Ability: Beast Boost

Moves: Ice Beam, Poison jab, Lunge, High Jump Kick



“Anyway, we encountered Darkrai at the end but he didn't sight us, just tossed this strange device and left. Told us to bring it with us later on.” explained Bolt.



Bolt shows you the device, you have a bad feeling about that device if it's ever used even though you don't know how to use it or what it does.



“Right, why don't you hold onto it?” you suggested.



“Ok... wait, is that a stretcher over there?” askeds Bolt.


You cover Bolts eyes with your ribbons.



“Oh, father dearest you're seeing things.” you said.



You wave your paw for the Pokémon behind you to take the stretcher away. Grace walks in the room as they do.



“Yo, any of you seen grandpa lately? I can't find the old coot anywhere and none of the guild members seen him today either.” said Grace.



“That's strange, Blade, despite his age, has always been very punctual.” said Cicada.



Kitsune pokes her head in.



“Hey losers, you got a visitor.” said Kitsune.



Kitsune backs out of the room as Wash walks inside looking worried.



“Mother?!” you exclaimed.



“Shine? You evolved, that's so great.” said Wash.



Wash picks you uip and hold you tightly.



“So, what brings you here? I swear Shine wasn't hurt.” asked Bolt.



“Oh right, did Solar sail here? We can't find her anywhere on Sunshine Shores.



“Solar's missing too?” asked Grace.



“Huh? Is somebody else missing too?” asked Wash.



“Yeah, the guild master.” you replied.



“HET LITTLE BUDDIES, STRANGE AURA AROUND LUNAR PEEKS IS GONE!” shouted Kaguya.



Everybody runs outside. Using a pair of binoculars, Grace looks at Lunar Peeks.



“Yep, those defenses are down.” said Grace.



“One thing is certain though, it wasn't by accident, been running smoothly for too long. It's a challenge.” said Bolt.



“Your father is right, Darkrai is challenging you. Tomorrow you should rise to the challenge. You should take everybody with you.” said Grace.



“Will you come too?” you asked.



“I wish I could but I need to manage the guild in my grandfathers absence.” replied Grace.



“I need to tell the others back home and help keep an eye there.” said Wash.



You have the rest of the afternoon to prepare for the final battle, how do you do so?

You start preparing for the final area, food, items, and you're fully healed. You start picking allies but Grace tells you that everybody is going, including herself.



“There's no way I'm standing by while my family is missing. I'll give whatever support I can.” said Grace.



“Who will run the guild while we're gone?” you asked.



“I have arrangements.” said Grace.



Grace winks and walks away.



“Alright, let's see if I have everything.” you mutter to yourself.



“HEY LITTLE SHINE!” shouted Kaguya.



You jump several feet in the air in shock.



“SHINE NO MEET NACISSA YET, LITTLE SHINE SHOULD ME NARCISSA!” shouted Kaguya.



You recover from the shock and walk outside to where Kaguya and Narcissa are.



“Hi Narcissa.” you greeted.



Narcissa sighed, she didn't seem excitable and, unlike Kaguya, didn't seem thrilled to be in this world.



“Hello... Shine was it? I hear you kept Kaguya company for a while.” said Narcissa.



“Yeah, Kaguya is a blast to be around.” you said.



“SHINE IS GOOD LITTLE FRIEND, SHE IS HAPPY AND STRONG!” shouted Kaguya.



“So I heard.” said Narcissa.



Narcissa look down at you.



“You may be Kaguyas friend but don't go touching me with your filth.” said Narcissa.



“NARCISSA IS CLEAN FREAK, SHE AVOIDS TOUCHING ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD!” shouted Kaguya.



Narcissa groans.



“Well I'll make sure to not touch you then.” you said.



“Good.” said Narcissa.



You walk away, that wasn't very pleasant.



You begin to think about the upcoming fight, you know it won't be easy.



Four hours later at the guild...



“Alright, is everybody ready?” asked Grace.



Everybody nods.



“Let's go then.” said Grace.



One by one all your teammates enter the airship. Bolt and Burst, family that's been by your side from the get go. Bun and Fury, new friends that are very loyal. Chill and Razor, an unlikely romantic duo. Cicada, two allies in one. Mew, an unexpected ally. Lunar, another family member. Ivy, small but determined. Katrina, it seemed like yesterday she was trying to kill you. Narcissa, unpleasant but a friend of Kaguya is a friend of yours, maybe.



Kaguya didn't board though due to not fitting, it flies by the ships side instead.



“Alright everybody, I don't think I need to stress how important this upcoming battle is. Darkrai is the cause of all this and I have full confidence we will emerge victorious.” you said.



“Shine, you're as great leader, so let's do this.” said Bun.



“I hate to be that on but do we have a plan?” asked Bolt.



You don't have a plan...



“Not my fault, the writer didn't put it as a vote.” you complained.



“Well we're on route so it's a bit late to plan, best to wing it. Wing it, cause we're flying.” said Grace.



Cricket noises are heard.



“You guys suck.” said Grace.



“It wasn't that funny.” you said.



Suddenly the entire airship is struck by something hard. You look over and see a large flock of flying Pokémon.



“It's a trap. Shine, take a couple allies and go down now. Kaguya, give the cover fire. Everybody else, get ready to fight.” ordered Grace.



You grab Katrina and Narcissa and head down in the mini-ships.



“That was nuts.” you said.



“Yeah, glad you grabbed me there, now to go and kick Darkrais rear end.” said Katrina.



“I really wish you didn't touch me, especially after you agreed you wouldn't, but no helping it now. I'll need a bath after this, ew.” complained Narcissa.



You come across various Pokémon but they don't fight you. Apparently Darkrai wanted to fight you himself. What you notice is a Mimikyu pacing back and forth.



“Aren't you the one that embarrassed me before?” asked Katrina.



“Yeah but this whole ordeal, I didn't know this would happen.” said Mimikyu.



“What do you mean?” you asked.



“Go and see.” said Mimikyu.



“Alright but after that I'm kicking your rear end.” said Katrina.



Your party heads up a path leading to the top of a steep hill. The top is large and flat, perfect for a showdown. In the center is Darkrai.



“You're finally here.” said Darkrai.



“Isn't that the guild master and your grandmother?” asked Katrina.



Sure enough, both are sealed in a cage.



“What is going on?” you asked.



“Tell me something, did you use the device I sent?” asked Darkrai.



You can't figure out what he's playing at.



“No.” you answered.



You had the device though, Bolt slipped it to you earlier, before you left for the mini ships.



“Do you think that we became one of the strongest exploration teams by skill alone?” asked Darkrai.



You pause.



“What is going on?” you asked.



“That device is what gave us our power. It's what made us unstoppable but it had a price.” said Darkrai.



“What is it exactly?” you asked.



“It's called a Game Shark, it alters reality and can make one strong and their foes weak but we didn't know the scope of it's side effects.” said Darkrai.



“What side effects?” you asked.



“The glitches.” answered Darkrai.



“Wait, that think made the glitches?” you asked.



“Yes, they are contained on the islands and is left unchecked their mere presence will end the Pokémon world as we know it.” answered Darkrai.



“So that's why you are doing this. You think by destroying everything here you will save the world.” you said.



“Correct, it's a sacrifice I don't want to make but I must.” said Darkrai.



You pause.



“No, there must be another way.” you said.



“Such fools, I'll destroy you here and now.” said Darkrai.



“It's about time. Now Darkrai, I'll show you what happened when you cross an assassin like myself.” said Katrina.



“I suppose I have no choice in this. I'll need a good cleaning after this.” sighed Narcissa.



Moonlight shines from above. It seems your adventure is coming to an end.



You are filled with DETERMIATION.



“Hey, you already did that reference.” you complained.



Well yeah but that was in my MLP fic so peopl at Lake Valor wouldn't have seen it.



“Fair enough.” you said.



This is it, the final battle and ending is all that's left. No vote but stay tuned anmd pray it doesn't take me a month to make.

An Eeveenture 24 (Final chapter)



The final fight stats NOW!



"Wait." said a voice.



Razor runs up behind you.



"Sorry but I'm not sitting this fight out." said Razor.



You nod and face Darkrai.



(For the record, who ran up to you here depended on who you brought. If you didn't bring Katrina, she would to take revenge. Since you did Razor did. If you took both, Chill would be running after her crush.)



Gritting your teeth you prepare for Darkrais attack but your allies have other plans. Katrina wastes no time hurling a moonblast which Darkrai easily avoids.



Narcissa takes the opening to nail Darkrai with a High Jump Kick, sending it back several feet before leaping after it.



However, Darkrais counter attack sends Narcissa flying back and almost off the edge.



Razor leaps after it but is knocked back too.



“Enough of this!” yelled Darkrai.



It launched it's Dark Void move but you're prepared this time. You take a deep breath and launch a powerful Hyper Voice which destroys the Dark Void and heavily damages Darkrai.



“Oh yeah, we got it's number.” you bragged.



Darkrai launches a powerful Dark Pulse, despite resisting the dark type you take quite a bit of damage.



Katrina counters with a flurry of moonblasts, she is clearly determined to take Darkrai down.



Suddenly a shadow races but and slams into Darkrai, knocking him several feet away which knocks him out. You look over and see it's another Darkrai.



“Did I just rob you of your epic showdown? My apologies.” said the second Darkrai.



“What, how, and why?” you exclaimed.



The second Darkrai points to the one you were fighting which turns into a ditto.



“What's going on?” you asked.



“That Ditto was impersonating me. It took me by surprise and sealed me away with my own power. I only just broke the seal on this island and me.” explained Darkrai.



“So it wasn't you but that Ditto causing trouble?” you asked.



Darkrai nods.



He seems to be very sincere, unlike your previous encounter where he was malicious.



“Why would it do that?” you asked.



“Because...” said the Ditto.



The Ditto look weird as it turns into pixels.



“I am M Block.” said M Block.



“This is a rather interesting turn of events.” said Katrina.



“Meh.” said Narcissa.



M Block glows and the remaining glitches gather and merge into a single large mess.



“You forced me to exist and I will cease yours.” said M Block.



“Shine, destroy the Game Shark, it's the only way.” called Solar.



Wasting no time, you drop the Game Shark and smash it. As you do so, M Block looks like it' in pain.



“Is that it?” you asked.



M Block glows.



“Looks like it.” you said.



M Block proves you wrong as it unleashes a powerful Sky Attack. It lands a direct hit on you.



You look up after being hit by that surprise attack to find it looks it's dissolving. You get up and run to where Solar and Blade are trapped to find they are disappearing as well.



“What is going on?” you asked.



“Shine, you know we used that Game Shark right?” asked Blade.



“Yeah but what's going on?” you asked.



“Well, we used it so much that it became ingrained in our bodies.” explained Solar.



“What does that even mean?” you asked.



“It means we were altered so much for it's power that be essentially became glitches ourselves.” explained Solar.



You stand back.



“But why isn't Darkrai affected?” you asked.



“Because he was smart and realized that the power wasn't worth it and got rid of it before it was too late unlike us.” explained Solar.



“But there has to be a way to save you both.” you said.



“No Shine, there isn't.” said Blade.



You try not to cry.



“Shine, I'm proud of you. I know you can do great things because you believe in yourself and your friends.” said Solar.



Both Solar and Blade vanished completely before your eyes.



“Looks like the party is here.” said Razor.



Sure enough, everybody showed up.



“What's going on? Why aren't you fighting Darkrai and why is Shine crying?” asked Bolt.



One explanation later...



“Damn, you were impersonated all this time.” said Bolt.



A loud roar is heard as M Block, which is about to disappear along with the glitches, gets up.



“Whoa, what's it doing?” asked Bolt.



With a quick charge, similar to that attack that caused yo to miss Deep Freeze Burg, M Block smashes the crystal before vanishing.



“That's not good...” said Bolt.



Meanwhile on the other islands, the crystals shatter one by one, each smashed crystal sends light into the air and you can see it all.



“Oh no! Doesn't that mean the life on the islands will end?” you asked.



The islands begins to shake.



“Let's think about that once we're in the air.” said Grace.



Everybody runs to the airship and it takes off. You looks over the edge and see forests burning, water being tainted, volcanoes erupting, and more. You look back and see Lunar Peeks erupting with dark energy and large chunks come down like mad.



“Hang on tight.” said Grace.



A few chunks miss completely thinks to Grace manoeuvring the airship.



“This is going to be rough.” said Grace.



A large chunk of dark energy hits the airship directly, you manage to grab Bun as she was nearly tossed off.



“Thanks Shine.” said Bun.



Another direct hit breaks your drip as Bun, and a few others are tossed overboard.

The next day...



A large rescue effort off the coast of Draketopia was started. Various exploration teams scour the ocean between the islands. Some of the party is taken to Draketopia while others washed ashore on various islands. After a count everybody made it except you.



The islands are in ruin but there is hope as a large rebuilding effort. Your swift success in saving everybody gave the residents hope for a bright future as you are remembered as a hero.
