There is nothing like spending a few years on a fan game. The team behind Pokémon Uranium spent 9 years working on the project, which was released a few months ago.

Unfortunately, I am here to say that at 1:46 PM on the 21st of September, 2016, Pokémon Uranium became a "dead" game. This means that there will no longer be official patches or updates for the game, and the Dev team will no longer provide support for technical issues.

A statement released on the Dev Team's Twitter account announced the news, much to the disappointment of fans. Unfortunately, contrary to the belief of several fans, Nintendo had every right to lawyer up about the game. That is the legal system, and there isn't much we can do about it.

While there is still unofficial patches out there, not many of these can capture the passion of a team that has worked on the project for nine years. Maybe one day, we'll see a game equal to Uranium. One that isn't going to be shot down by Nintendo.

    As always, this is Lunen,
    Stay Stumpy!
