    Does anyone else play these delightful games? If you haven't, let me try to explain them to you. Basically, you are the only human living in a town of cute, talking animals you can befriend. There are various things you can do in the game, including fishing, collecting fruit, decorating your house or character, bug catching, digging up fossils, making money, etc. It's a very relaxed game series. There's 3 games out currently. Animal Crossing for Gamecube, Animal Crossing: Wild World for DS, and Animal Crossing: City Folk for Wii. Animal Crossing: New Leaf for 3DS should be coming out this year. I've also heard that it might be coming out for WiiU as well. Anyways, this thread is just for discussion about these games :)

    If anyone still plays Wild World, perhaps we could visit each other's towns c:

    It's an interesting little game, but I only played the Gamecube version. Mr. Resetti is a real bastard. I always found it amusing to change the clock on the Gamecube then start up again, and hear people talking about how they haven't seen me in 8000 years.

    I LOVE animal crossings I played the ds and wii versions for hours, also I can't wait for the 3ds one coming out soon!

    I used to play it everyday in the Wii and DS.
    But...my Wii broke and i can't find the DS card........ :(
    I ABSOLUTELY NEED THE 3DS VERSION

    To keep up with your DS cards, I suggest you like, buy a case that holds them. Thats how I kept up with all of my games. (At least my Pokémon ones;I see others laying around and since I dont play them, I leave them there, and pick them up the day later. LOL.)

    I think these games work a lot better on a handheld so the 3ds version will be great!

    Ahhh! I love animal crossing! Probably one of my favourite game series of all time. It was just so cute and something that would last you at least a year because of all the holidays. I have all three that are out currently and plan on getting the one for the 3DS.

    Although Wild World and City Folk WERE AWESOME I still have to say that the original is probably my favourite just because it takes me back to my childhood. Wild World is a close second. City Folk is in third just because I don't think there were enough improvements from WW that made it much different. It was actually kind of disappointing. Still good though!

    Ooh, Animal Crossing!! Probably one of my favorite games, honestly! :D
    Everything's just so cute and original and even though it doesn't have /re/playability, I just want to keep checking on my towns all the time, haha.

    I have all of the first three, but I don't think any of them will even compare to New Leaf. It's got so many new mechanics and just, Nintendo, you need to stop 'cause you're killing me with how awesome it is.

    Also I'm way too excited about the bamboo, probably.

    Oh my god!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for Animal Crossing to come out! I even started a new town in WW so that there were no weeds!
    I wish I hadn't got my 3DS so that I could get the Animal Crossing 3DSxl

    This is my favorite game to mellow out with when life gets to stressy. Didnt like the Wii version as much because its something I should be able to shift attention to and from without switching my tv from wii to cable. Tis why WW is my fav so far and New Leaf is on my list of games to buy.
