Some artists only seem to specialize in animals, others in humans...and some both! Do you hate drawing one over the other? Is there something about drawing one over the other that makes it unique to you? Animals or humans?

I like drawing both, though I draw more animals/creatures than humans overall. But that's mostly because I'm in practice with humans so they don't come as easily, whereas animals I've drawn since the beginning so I can doodle and produce them quick lol.

My work doesn't limit to animals. I also draw Pokémon and mythical creatures that do not resemble animals. However, I do not like drawing humans or human-like creatures like elves and vampires. Part of it is because I'm borderline misanthropic, but also because I don't really enjoy drawing them. ...But at the same time, one of my best drawings is that of a humanoid character. (A siren to be exact)

I love drawing people. Especially women with lots of curves since they're more fun to draw. I don't mind drawing animals, but they will look very fluffy.

Well.. I can draw both animals and humans. Yet, the way I drew animals is more fur than what it was supposed to be. xD

Aaaanimals! I'm purely an animal artist, especially animal-like Pokémon. Just so much more comfortable for me to draw animals and it's what I have many years of experience drawing. Learning to draw people would be nice but I'm not as into that. </3

I prefer and I'm a lot better at drawing animals/creatures than humans. It is properly because I draw animals most of the time, find them more interesting and easier to draw. But I'm trying to improve my skills at drawing people.

I like drawing humans. I used to draw animals, but then I realized I have way more talent than humans than animals. I only draw animals if necessary anymore.

Animals (that aren't quadrupeds) are a lot easier for me to handle than humans, for some reason. I love drawing their fur in particular, a lot of the time! I don't think I've ever drawn a single human or humanoid that I've been satisfied with.

If Pokémon and other monsterly things are considered animals, I guess I can do both.

BUT NEVER AT THE SAME TIME. Anthros are the bane of my existence. xD

I draw nothing but people with the occasional attempt at a cat or Pokémon, so I'm pretty positive that I'm better at people than animals. I've been getting better at drawing them though, still not quite at the level I'd like to be

anthros, humans, and animals are all equally as fun to draw for me XD
i guess you could say im pretty versatile...

    ...except im not...

personally i think it gets alot more easier to draw things once you understand how their body structure works, etc etc
then you can bend it to fit your style while still making it look... not wonky?

I like drawing both, honestly! I've always enjoyed drawing both humanlike characters and animal-like characters, so I have a nice balance going, I think. Both have their interesting points about them, and they're both extremely fun to draw!

I draw both, but lately mostly humans, and I think I'm better at them as well.

I swear every time I see "animal and human" used contrastively I just wanna scream "HUMANS ARE ANIMALS" lol.

Really humans aren't too different from any other mammal, just aligned on a vertical instead of a horizontal axis (I find nonhuman apes more troublesome with that semi-quadruped physiology tbh). I draw humanoids a lot, but I create a lot of non-humanoid things as well so I'm pretty varied. But I do favor humanoids in general.
