Animals which haven't been made in to Pokemon yet

Sea urchin. I'm still waiting on that. Still no dolphin Pokémon as far as I can remember. Could use a platypus Pokémon as well.

Cockroach. I think it would be interesting to see what a cockroach Pokémon would look like.

I'd like to see a Porcupine based critter. They could literally use pin missile.

 

There isn't a Pokémon based solely on a wolf. I would like to see one based off of a Tasmanian Devil as well.

 

They should make a Pokémon out of the okapi and the platypus. Maybe also a centaur Pokémon.
Also, maybe they should make a nautilus Pokémon. Nautiluses are pretty cool creatures in my opinion and if shelmet is meant to be a nautilus, then they need to do better.

 

Actually, there's Arcanine.

There haven't been any dolphin Pokémon, to my knowledge. I can't really think of any, to be honest. Anteater? Ant? Humans? We're technically animals too, guys.

 

Arcanine is a dog, hence the word "canine" in its name. Anteater and ant were both done in Gen V. But yeah, we could use a dolphin. Also a neat orca whale Pokémon would be great too.

Those are some animals that come to mind.

 

If we're going to split hairs, Raikou is a tiger.

I'd like to see a dolphin Pokémon that might be cute if done right. And yeah, anteater = Heatmor, Ant = Durant.

There are many human-like Pokémon but I'm not really a fan of those and any Pokémon that bear an even closer resemblance to humans would kind of creep me out.

 

Not a tiger, but I'd like to see a Saber-toothed Tiger!

 

That's basically Raikou as far as I'm concerned. Has the saber-teeth going on. A regular old tiger hasn't really been done though.

 

hummingbird, i saw one today made me wish there was one and i think it would be a grass-flying type
and the moose, i don't know why but i like moose...i could see either a grass-ice or grass-ground for its type

 

We already have a platypus Pokémon: Golduck.

I'd love a hummingbird! It could also be Fairy/Flying.

 

Arcanine is based off the mythological Ryukyuan Shisa, which is supposed to be part lion/part dog.

 

People say platypus but I feel that Psyduck and Golduck fill that quota.
And I know that they have the word 'duck' in their names but I've yet to see a duck with four webbed hands and feet. Apart from their bills and feet, both of which platypuses also have, Psyduck and Golduck don't resemble ducks.

I've been holding out for a louse Pokémon.

Hm, yes, according to Bulbapedia: "Psyduck's apparent lack of feathers and ability to fly, along with its claws, suggest that its design draws inspiration from a platypus with some influence from ducks." Indeed, I'd say Psyduck fits the bill as a platypus... ahaha... bill. Although it'd be cool to have a more apparent platypus; maybe water/poision? (since platipus are poisonous)

I looked up a list of animals that haven't been used yet (because it's morning and I don't want to think), and I want to see a PEACOCK Pokémon

 

There should be a millipede Pokémon. They're missing a black bear too.

Knowing me, I'm sure more will come into my head soon.
