I like both! I like reading manga because I don't know, it's always satisfying just reading something haha. And I like anime because of the voices and the animation!

I love both anime and manga. I love anime for the animation and voices, and maybe the music. I love the manga for the originality? If that is a good term to use lol. They always seem to change some stuff around when they are making an anime of a manga. I love them both though..

I do like both, but I prefer anime because there's just something more satisfying abut having noises and music with the story. But the manga is interesting because it's pretty cool to read the story from the (usually) original source.

    "Why not both?"

I am disappointed with this choice.

Sometimes, the manga quality is better (IE Tokyo Ghoul :P) but the anime is definitely easier to watch. I tend to read quicker, so it really depends on the mood i'm in xD

I like both but I often watch more anime than I read manga, I guess is just easier considering I got a lot of books to read that are not manga.

Both are quite nice, Manga you can take it at your own pace and Anime is a set time period.

They go hand in hand. If you like a certain Anime/Mang that updates the Manga faster, you may wanna go there. If you want more detail, go to Anime.

Then again, sometimes there is differences in them.

Well, manga tends to make me laugh a lot more... because they are still pictures, you can just stare at funny facial expressions for as long as you want. :P

But I still adore anime, because I really like the emotion that the music and effects portray. :)

So, I prefer funny manga but I prefer emotional anime. :P But I chose anime anyway, because there are only two mangas I read.

I enjoy both anime and manga, but not equally.

I prefer anime a bit more than magna because I'm a visual person and after awhile of reading a book I do get bored of it. I should probably get better at that.

I prefer anime over the manga. My reason for it is because I tend to forget to catch up with the manga series. Not only that but I tend to get very lazy when it comes to reading manga. I think that's because the mangas that I read have a huge amount of dialogue. I also likes the scenes in action/animation then in the manga. It's sometimes hard to see what's going on when manga artists goes into a huge amount of details when it comes to action scenes.

Anime, because sometimes I'm too lazy to read manga. There are some exceptions though, Naruto for example.

This is another one of those questions that's near impossible to decide for me... but I'm bad at decisions, so...

I like both. I can't pick one or the other. Anime is great, because it's played out in front of you, and you can get some epic scenes, such as sword fights etc. On the other hand, Manga allows your imagination to come up with all the voices, and everything plays out in your mind. Plus, it makes for excellent night-time reading!

I always like reading/watching both. They usually are slightly different, which can be good or bad for the series, but still nice to have in certain situations. If a manga is short but made to be a longer, more in depth anime, like for example Wolf's Rain, then yes it is good.

On the other hand, sometimes the manga is just superior in every way, which is the case for Saiyuki. The only good thing that came from the anime is the amazing japanese voice cast, the movie, and OVAs. The actual series is just bad plot and art wise unfortunately.

I find myself reading more manga than watching anime; however, I selected both :>

For me, manga is quicker to get through than anime because I can go at my own pace whereas anime requires me to watch 21-minute episodes. I could read the chapters the episode consists of in at least half the time it takes me to watch said episode. Another downside to anime is, depending on the budget, it may not come out as good as you would hope, whereas manga art often gets better over time. (Fairy Tail and Rave Master are prime examples of this; the artwork starts off subpar but gets amazingly better later.) Additionally, there are numerous manga series that don't even get anime adaptations; there are anime adaptations without manga series, but they usually get one at some point. Thus, there are plenty more options.

However, anime brings the characters to life, giving them voices, movable actions, and so forth. You've also got an OST to help set the mood. If you don't terribly mind having to go at a fixed pace (I guess you could skip fillers, but I'm the type who likes watching everything except recap episodes), anime is just as enjoyable.

I like anime more because I feel like I can understand what's going on in more detail with sounds, action, and really more awareness of what is going on. I would also like to say that I'm not the biggest fan of cartoons, as I only watch two anime series right now and I haven't watched a whole lot in the past.

I prefer Anime because I can get into the story way deeper than with Manga, I've only read the manga of Attack on Titan though, I can live with manga but anime takes the cake for me! :)

I prefer anime above manga, though maybe you can't really call it a fair judgement. I personally have never read a manga, because (besides of the fact that I don't have easy access to it at all) it never really appealed that much to me. I mean of course it's cool, but I just think that anime will always be my favorite. It would help a whole lot if I had easier access to manga though :/ Stupid Netherlands...

When I lived in the city, I took public transit. This made manga ideal- I would carry a few in my backpack to read while I rode the subway to work. Even now, I can still read manga on breaks. Plus, the art is usually more crisp, detailed, and consistent.

But, anime has its charms, too. Definitely faster for me to get through an entire series if I power watch episodes rather than trying to power read the manga. I also like that anime and manga aren't always exactly the same, so I can watch an anime to get an idea of the show, and read the manga to get a slightly different spin on the same story.
