For those that have both an anime and a manga, do you have a preference of one over the other? Or do you like them both the same? Each have their pros and cons.

I personally like both, but I tend to prefer anime just because of the different styles of animation. It's nice seeing fight scenes and such in action rather than reading them on a page. However, anime usually deviates from the plot of the manga if it's an adaptation of a series.
Though to be completely honest I watch more anime than I read manga, so.

I prefer anime over manga, but I still love reading manga.
My reasoning is mainly because of the voices, the actions, and the art. Also being able to see things in actual color instead of black & white is nice. :P
Another huge reason is the OSTs, which play a very important role in anime, as an OST is usually used to set a certain mood.
A fighting scene is much more intense when you can see the quick movements, the noises, the destruction, and hear the music in the background that ties it all together.
In a manga, a fight usually ends within a couple pages, which isn't as fun as it would be in an anime.

I've seen a couple different anime that were adaptations of their respective manga's, but honestly, I pretty much always prefer the anime versions of them over manga for some reason.

I prefer manga, mostly because I don't have the patience to sit down and watch it.
I don't watch a lot of TV at all.

I prefer manga. It's a lot faster to go through as well as makes you interpret how the characters sound and their reactions. I think it's so much more fun to see it unfold bit by bit. Plus, I can easily catch up so it's awesome for that.
