That moment when you're walking with a computer cord and it falls on the ground and gets tangled in your feet somehow. Does that happen to anyone else? If so, do you have any recommendations other than pick up the cord? We need to push back against this menace! Also. Are there any cords that do not have the sinister intent of strangling my legs and making me trip? Where do you get them? #MissingNo
I swear there's fairies that exist just to tangle computer and headphone cords. It can be sitting fine one second and tangled the next.
Computer cords usually aren't that bad for me. However..... headphones and portable chargers ALWAYS seem to get tangled no matter what. It's like an inevitable fate for them to become tangelas made of wire... minus the shoes.
I have the same problem whenever I try to pack up my laptop to go out for the weekend. My charger cords always get tangled, no matter how much I try to wrap them up properly.
Sometimes I wonder if these cords are out to get me. My phone charger cord is starting to mess up from it being bent weirdly, and my headphone cords just seem to get tangled almost every time I turn around. It's not fun at all XD Makes me wonder, maybe there's a trick to getting your cords not all tangled up... :wooper:
I don't have this problem myself often, as the cords are either long enough so they don't get tangled, or they're all underneath my desk so I wouldn't be able to encounter them anyway. Having a computer tower, a modem, a scanner, and a printer in my room will tend to do that. (I'm not sure why I still have the printer. It doesn't work anymore due to a programming error.) However, I must impart this knowledge: Whatever you do, don't put any kind of cord in your pocket. Trust me on this one. My headphone cord is twisted beyond repair because of it - it still works just fine, but it will never be a straight line ever again.
Happens all the time, especially with my headset. It's wired, so I can sometimes trip or roll over the cord with my chair. It makes for a very uncomfortable time, but I still prefer it to wireless.
