This is my first time writing fanfiction. Hopefully, ya'll will enjoy. Sorry if it doesn't make sense, but I think it's cute. AND YES I SPELLED THE TITLE WRONG. DARN.

    Another Cliche Story

The cold night sky was upon the girl with long, jet black hair. Her name, she did not know, nor did she want remember anything about her life before the day she lost her beloved Leafeon, Evergreen. Aimlessly roaming from city to town, then city once again, she had arrived to the blizzard wonderland known as Snowpoint City. She had never felt what it was like to be cold as she had only felt the warmth of the Moss Rock she woke up against that day, but she felt a distinct chill at the back of her spine as she came across the Snowpoint Temple. The snow gradually became deeper as she walked towards the Temple. Could she pray? Would Evergreen come back? All she could do was keep moving forward or so she thought until resident gym Leader Candice came.
"What do you think you're doing? It's dangerous in there!"
    "...I need answers...."
"Answers? Answers to what? Are you doing a research project or something?"
    "......"
"Well, I can sense the focus you have to enter, but do you have any Pokémon to protect you at least?"
    "Pokémon need not be involved."
"Pokémon are here to help us as much as we are here to help them, I won't let you in until you get warmed up to a Pokémon that will protect you! A Pokémon is always in fashion!"
"I don't want to lose anymore. Please. Let me in."
    "LOSE WHAT? FOCUS?"
"Lose whatever is holding me together."
"You want to know what's holding you together?"
    "If you know, tell me."
"Well, you might want to check a library for that. Focus and find out what it is and when you come back, tell me! I'm sure I'll have lots of admiration for you! What's your name?"
The girl stared at the happy-go-lucky Candice with dead eyes before she turned around and walked away dragging her feet against the snow, leaving Candice puzzled by the girl. The girl left Snowpoint City that very day and climbed up to Lake Acuity. She took a deep breath and seemed to be in awe of the beauty of the lake. She went closer to the lake and gently dipped her hands into the freezing cold water. She liked the feeling of numbness. It made her feel like pain was just a trouble she had to endure. Waving her hands in the water from side to side, she clumsily fell in. She stayed in the freezing lake and kept swimming until night fell watching the Pokémon in the wild grass frolic with one another. The sun no longer visible, she swam to to the small island in the center of lake. The girl dragged herself into a cavern shivering. After a few minutes, she began crying. The icy temperature began to remind her of loneliness. No one to comfort her. No one to help her remember what it was like to be happy with someone. The feeling of being frozen shook her to the point she fell unconscious. Little by little, pieces of dreams floated into her mind. All she could see was a Leafeon with the happiest smile in the world with a black silhouette petting it's head.
"I don't want that smile to go away. Please. Don't let that smile go away."
The sun rose and the girl was awaken to the very faint sound of a mew-like cry. The cavern was warm despite the snowy weather. The girl peered outside the cavern opening only to see a fainted eevee in the middle of a group of Sneasels across the lake. The Sneasels themselves had a dark aura around them with their cackling laughs and the eevee was horribly beaten and bruised. The girl instinctively dived into the water and swam to the eevee while giving off a deathly stare to the Sneasels who immediately ran away. She stared at the poor Pokémon with horror in her eyes. Now holding the seemingly lifeless Pokémon in her arms, she dashed off to Snowpoint City, praying to whatever God to help. As she ran, the eevee's breathing became weak and slow. When she had arrived in the Pokémon center, the eevee was barely grasping for air.
"NURSE JOY! PLEASE HELP!" the girl cried as she placed the eevee on the emergency stretcher Chansey brought.
"What happened? Chansey get Eevee to room #3!" Nurse Joy yelled worryingly.
"I don't know! I just know a group Sneasels was attacking it. Please. Save it! Please." the girl sobbed with tears running down her cold, flushed-red cheeks.
Two days had passed before the Eevee was breathing fine, and the girl had stayed to help nurse it back to health. During this time period, the girl had fallen completely depressed. Something had clicked in her mind. She remembered how this situation had somehow happened before.
Candice, the gym leader, had heard of the news of the brutally beaten Eevee and been visiting was surprised to see the girl.
"Hey, it's too cruel how the world is isn't it?" Candice softly whispered stroking the Eevee while it was sleeping.
"Yes. Why is this like this? Why would those Sneasels do that? Why hurt something so innocent? I don't understand why someone would..." Click. A wild memory appeared before the girl. "Candice, did you hear about the Eterna Forest massacre?"
    "Massacre?"
"Pokémon Hunters ravaged the forest killing Pokémon like Buneary for its fleece."
"That's terrible when did this happen?"
"7 months ago. I was part of those who rebelled against the hunters. I lost my dearest friend that day. My Leafeon. My leafeon who had just given birth that day."
"Wait. SO is this Eevee yours?"
"Technically yes. I was so heartbroken I lost my Evergreen that I abandoned it. I never thought it would follow me."
"It's obvious it wants to be with you. So why not give it a name? Maybe it will heal your heart."
    "Maybe... How about Queen?"
"That sounds a little flashy, but I admire it! It melts my heart!"
"Queen... hmm... will you protect me? Please don't die when I've become attached. I want you to be happy. I want to protect your smile as much as you want to protect my heart. Right now, you are the most important. You are my Queen. " the girl said with a small smile to the weak eevee.

    Two years passed since then...
"QUEEN! Come here!" the girl yelled from a distance.
    "Glaceon!" Queen cried with delight.
"It's time to show Candice our progress!" The girl gently petted Queen's head before opening the door.
"Gla!" Queen smiled. Queen had fixed the girl's heart.

and the girl couldn't be happier with her little Queen.

Cute story. Moves a bit fast, but for your first fanfic, definitely not bad! You should write more short stories about these two.

Okay. This is going to be a sort of prequel so hopefully it will be okay?
    Part 0.5
The chilly breeze of the Eterna Forest swept the sweet smell of berries to what seemed like every trainer within the vicinity. Among these trainers was a girl with jet black hair and her Leafeon. The girl was sleeping among the trees while her Leafeon was frolicking within the flowers that created the light perfume that surrounded the forest.
" Evergreen? Isn't the forest particularly beautiful this time of year. The trees in the wind, the Beautiflys going from flower to flower, even the air tastes good. Don't you agree?"
    "Lea!"
" I wonder how Grandma and Grandpa are doing in Solaceon Town. They sure helped out with your egg. We should pay them a visit soon right? I'm sure the little egg will be happy to meet you there."
    "Lea!" Evergreen shouted in delight.
"Okay! Let's go. But first let's stop by Eterna City, I need to get some supplies for the road."
The girl and Evergreen slowly walked towards the exit, taking in as much of the scent of the forest as they could.

Reaching the PokeMart in the city, the girl bought all her necessities as well as some snacks for Pokémon. However, as she was leaving, she heard something that shocked her to her very core. A gun shot.

"WHAT WAS THAT?" she screamed as people from all over the city were flooding out to see what was happening outside.
"I-I-It came from that Forest didn't it?" A man gasped in horror.
"THE FORREST?!" The girl's legs moved instinctively towards the forest. She couldn't think. That gunshot gave her chills down her spine.

In the span of two minutes, she had reached the forest and came face to face with a group of PokeHunters. Anyone could tell who they were because of the proud emblem that were tattooed on their wrists. Each member had a malicious smile because surrounded around them were several dead Pokémon. The bloody corpses scattered across the floor drove the girl mad.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!? STOP. WIPE AWAY YOUR SMILES! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"
"Relax girlie. The little Pokémon were wild. Ain't no ones property. It's free hunt." said one of the members nonchalantly.
"The 'hunt' are still living creatures!"
    "were"
"WHO'S FAULT IS THAT? YOU WILL PAY FOR THEIR LIVES! EVERGREEN, LEAF BLADE!" the girl screamed at the top of her lungs.
    Evergreen jumped at the Pokehunters.
"What a stupid girl and Pokémon."
    *BANG*
"EVERGREEN!" the girl shrieked. Leafeon's lifeless body was on the forest ground. The Pokehunters smiles grew larger and larger.
"What a stupid girl you are." One of the Pokehunters said as he violently kicked Evergreen's corpse. He proceeded to walk towards the girl and in an instant, knocked the girl into the moss rock that was nearby.

When she awoke, the first thing she saw was her Evergreen. You can guess what happened. She cried her eyes out. Little did she realize that the egg in her bag had hatched and saw the face that deeply cherished her time with her best friend and partner. The Eevee slowly made its way towards the girl.

    "Eevee?"
"GO AWAY. Go away..." The Eevee stepped back. The girl was crying weakly now. She held her Evergreen and placed the Leafeon within the flowers before abandoning everything the girl held dear. The girl had lost everything that day. Then, she decided. A place where she couldn't imagine Evergreen being. She was going to run away from her memories. Running away from the forest to the snow, leaving anything that would remind her of the day she lost a part of her heart. She kept running.
