Another introduction

I always hated introductions, as there is always one thing I forgot to mention in it. I hope this time I'll not forget anything.

So, today Achromatic invited me in deviantArt to join to this community. I usually ignore these kind of requests, as most sites nowadays are just created in passion and they will appear in a month or two. But I realized that this site is different as soon as I saw the concept of it: it had a lot of thing related to not just Pokémon, but any kind of stuff. It is friendly to the members and they can create their own topics, there are games for them, and there is everything you need to create a good community. So I decided to join.

What should you know about me? Well, I'm interested in a lot of things. First of all, it's obvious that I'm a fan of Pokémon: as a 20 years old guy, it was a part of my childhood since Pokémon Red and it's still a really enjoyable and creative game and hobby for me. I'm also playing the Trading Card Game, but not the modified format, since here we don't have any leagues, so unlimited metagame is more than perfect for us. I also like to create custom card sets, I can post them here if you're interested in.

I also like learning about ancient Japanese and Chinese cultures, as they have a totally different mentality from western people and this mentality is more related to my philosophy (here's another thing I enjoy ) and I can totally identify with it. Of course, not with everything, as I like to choose the things I think I can benefit from, reject the useless things, and add my own unique ideas. Learning from the things is a key in my life, as I think that everything happens for a reason. The world is not only good, it has bad things too, since it creates the perfect balance, and the people only need to become the part of this whole world to experience the harmony. The journey, the life itself, which only matters - and the tool for it is to appreciate the importance of present, the life itself.

This is what I follow in life and try to use it everywhere in my life, especially in composing: I've been learning play the piano for 10 years, and I'm working as a composer now for 3 years, which is a really creative job and I can create my ideas with classical/soundtrack inspired music. I also like to do other creative things, like creating stories, and if everything goes well, I'll be able to create my first video game based on the world I created. Of course it's just a plan currently, but I hope it will become reality one day.

I also like role-playing games, video games, literature, movies, comics (mostly DC's works), mangas, and other arts. I always prefer innovative experiments over well-tried methods.

I hope this short introduction gave you some information about me, feel free to ask if you have any questions, or if you confused/didn't understand something. My English is not the best, as I'm not a native speaker, but I hope you still could understand me.

Thank you for the greeting! It's good to here that it's a close community. I'm here for several minutes but it's still really enjoyable! Well, I usually say it's never too late to learn music, as I learnt the most important lessons recently, and as an elder, it's easier to learn the basics.

That's nice to see other people who are also interested in philosophy, it's a really nice conversation topic in my opinion, especially since it's interesting even if you don't agree in a topic, but also exciting if you have the same opinion.

Yeah, usually my English is fine if I have the time to think what I want to write, correct any mistakes if I did, and so on. But if they hurry me than I can make a lot of mistakes, maybe I'm slowpoke a bit.

 

Thank you so much! Yeah, it's not that easy, I'm not even a virtuoso, but I can play what I want. And one thing: it's different for most people how they prefer to learn. For example, I prefer playing by ear instead of reading sheets, while there are other people who cannot play by ear but can read sheet perfectly.
