For a mono-type, I don't think it's bad. However, I think you rely on Rain/Swift Swim too much. I'd have to battle you ingame before I make assumptions like that though.

One flaw I can see is that you lack coverage- You don't have much move types at all.
Also, Bounce is an awful move. It tell your opponent next move is going to be flying type, so they can just change to something that resists it. I'd consider changing it to something like Earthquake, which is always a good move to have in a team.

I can definitely agree with you both on the fact that the coverage isn't all that high. I'll definitely try running EQ on Gyarados. As far as relying on Rain/Swift Swim too much, that's the focus of the team in general. However, I actually do a pretty decent job without the rain, unless I'm trying too hard to set it up. To comment on coverage again, I'd really have to weigh my options and see what moves would support the team best.

    Any suggestions my friends?

I'll have to disagree with Slugkid with Bounce being an awful move. Sure it lacks accuracy and it is very predictable but Bounce does have a 30% chance to paralyze and plus it's the only reliable STAB that Gyarados is able to use; just throwing that out there. Maybe Stone Edge over Bounce but that's just preference because Stone Edge does give Gyarados neutral coverage along with Waterfall (EDIT: maybe except for Pokémon like Breloom).

The problem I see with this team is that you lack a Stealth Rock user. Stealth Rock is a crucial part of team building because it breaks many Focus Sashes and inflicts damage to many switches to name a few.

I think Feraligatr has no place for this team so replacing it with a Swampert adds an Electric immunity, sets up Stealth Rock and gives you a wall as well (I know you want to run a Hyper Offensive team but maybe try this out):
    Swampert @ Leftovers
    Trait: Torrent
    Evs: 252hp/252def/4spd
    Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spe)
    -Stealth Rock
    -Roar
    -Scald
    -Earthquake

As for Lanturn, replacing it with Rotom-W shouldn't hurt either as it is faster and just as bulky:
    Rotom-W @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Levitate
    Evs: 4hp/252spa/252spe
    Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
    -Trick
    -Volt Switch
    -Hydro Pump
    -Hidden Power [Ice]

    Anyways, I hope I helped!

I'll definitely give this a try even though I'm a bit iffy on the Swampert, thanks.
