I've been watching a lot of fan made Pokémon games played by Munching Orange on youtube and I've been wondering just how many people actually play the fan games? I've mostly been thinking about this because I have been making some fakemon sprites and I am considering making a Pokémon Game using a game maker engine which is currently broke because it takes up to much space on my disk drive which was outdated when I built my computer so I have to install a more up to date one. Anyways would anyone be interested in playing a Fan Made Pokémon game with slightly different Mechanics such as:

    - Trainers that are not only stationary but some that will seek you out when you enter the room/map.
    - Majority of game be made up of Fakemon and the rest of Pokémon Fusions.
    - Additional types?
    - Changeable Clothes
    - Different&Smooth Graphics
    - New attacks and abilites
    - Possibly more than 3 Starters? More then 3 Evolutions4Starters?
    - And the option to choose answers/responses that are not as bland as (Yes or No)

What a coincidence. I just started watching Pokémon Sweet edition yesterday by Munching Orange and so far, it looks really cool. While I am not a hardcore Pokémon gamer (more of the anime), I'd be willing to help you and play it.

I've played a few like Destiny loved that one and put so many hours into it. I've played a few other but the names have slipped my mind. I haven't played fan games in years tho.

@[member="XyzioN"] I'm usually useful as idea bouncer, but (at the end) being a test player and telling where issues are and so on would be cool, too.

That could work, I'm right now working in the region layout before a friend and I start to draw it out. After that we have to create the storyline with an introduction back story which we plan to later animate. Overall we plan to make it with a $70 Game Maker engine some friends and I had purchased in multiple copy's so the game will most likely be a .exe file

Do roms count? I only play a couple of Fanmade Pokémon games. I've played games such as Pokémon Floral Sky, and Pokémon Adventure (Red's adventure.)

I've never played any fanmade games, but I'd really like to. But I'm weird: I simply hate playing games on my PC. I dunno why, I just dislike it. If there was a way to put these fanmade games on my 3DS, I'd probably give them a try.

I've tried a couple here and there but none of them have really help my interest. The one I played the most of was Light Platinum but even then I didn't finish it. I guess there's something about fan games that turns me off.

I've actually played a lot of these fanmade games. While most of them seem interesting at the beginning, I usually start getting bored halfway through them. Not sure why, though. Still, some of the fanmade ones I like are Pokémon Sweet Version, Flora Sky, and Volt White.

I used to play fan games a ton like, idk, 2 years ago or so? That's the date I downloaded most of them lmao.
I've played Flora Sky, Liquid Crystal, Yet Another FireRed Hack, Sea Green, Sienna, FireRed Omega, Sweet, Vega, and others I'm probably forgetting.
My favorite would probably be Vega. The challenge is nice since as far as I know, there still isn't a complete English patch for it yet, and the Fakemon are really cool with good sprites.

My favorite fangames are the ones such as Blaze Black and Volt White. They didn't really change the plot of the story at all, and they added some difficulty and the availability of new Pokémon and just overall a better gameplay experience. I particularly liked doing Egglockes in these hacks. I seriously recommend them to any hardcore Pokémon players.

Has anyone played rom hacks Pokémon Altair and Sirius (Pokémon Emerald Hacks)? Honestly, I gave them a try, but I lost interest at Lillycove. The more I went through the game, the more disappointed I was. I got to Slateport to check out the Battle Tent with the new Pokémon, and it wasn't there. It was replaced by... I don't even know what, but it sure as heck wasn't fun. Then the other tents were missing too. To make matters worse, the Contest Hall in Lilycove was gone too, also replaced by something completely BOGUS! At that point, I had no interest in pressing on to see if they at LEAST kept the Battle Frontier, because if they got rid of all the other diversions, what were the odds that they didn't remove the Battle Frontier and replaced THAT with something super dumb too? Sorry, but for me, Battling and catching Pokémon are all well and good, but it's really the diversions that keep me interested in playing a Pokémon game, which is one reason I didn't like Black/White, and from what I've heard of Blaze Black and Volt White, it doesn't add enough for me to have an interest in. Some people want to believe "I grew out of Pokémon," but honestly, I still consider myself a big fan.

Anyway, does anyone know of a Pokémon Emerald fakemon hack that keeps all the stuff that was removed in Altair and Sirius?
