April Fool's Day

cant wait to lay out some of 'em sweet memes pranks

 

April 1st is actually my roommate's 21st birthday, so I'm going to get him a nice gag gift (or three) to celebrate both events.

 

I usually don't do much. I wanted to prank my math teacher last year but I failed miserably, so that kinda made me give up hope, lol. I just hope my friends won't try to prank me with stupid pranks like untied shoe lace-comments and stuff XD

 

I played like one prank my whole life, and it upset the people I pranked so much that I never pranked anyone ever again.

April Fool's day is a simple materialistic, unimportant, meaningless day to me. But having a friendly joke or two is fun, right? Once, one of my favourite Grade Coordinators suggested we switch classes for this day, and nobody will know! It was actually a good idea. On April Fools, I usually say I'm my twin sister and she's me, and everybody (except for my best friend) falls for it. I never tell them afterwards.

 

One year I did the whole toothpaste Oreo thing for my lunch table at school, but nobody fell for it. No, I didn't use the silly blue toothpaste with sparkles in it, I'm more clever than that. It's just that toothpaste doesn't have the right consistency to look like Oreo creme. Maybe some kind of a home-made snack then? Maybe.

I just tend not to do much, and anybody who's close enough to me for it to be socially acceptable to prank me would already know that I would find it unamusing (insert Batman or Grumpy Cat picture here). Aside from that, I'm just make sure to be careful when reading the news for the the day as well as 24 hours before and after.

Luckily I don't have school or work this April 1st, so I can stay home and not be happily not-pranked. I won't even answer a phonecall except from one person, that's how serious I am about this.
