Unfortunately, not all video games do a great job of entertaining and being... Well... Good. There're as many terrible video games lurking on the shelves as there are amazing ones, and sometimes you pick one up expecting good things only to be disappointed.
Are there any games you've played that you really didn't enjoy? Any you've outright hated? If so, whay didn't you enjoy them? Are they games that receive bad ratings, or games that other people seem to love?

Bravely Default disappointed me--not only was the story boring, some of the battles were downright HARD...on EASY mode!

Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land. I didn't get very far because 1. I found the game too hard for my taste and 2. The over all gameplay was not to my liking either. It sounded like a interesting game when I borrowed from the local library but sadly it proved a little too frustrating for me to play. But like I said I didn't get very far so I dunno much of the game other than what I played, if I'd kept playing I might have actually gotten the hang of it but back then I didn't care to pick it up again.

To me, it's pretty much any games that are based off kids movies. I've had way too many of those in my early years of handheld gaming.

I mean, once you finish the story/complete the levels, you do nothing but restart the game and play it all over again. But I guess that's because these games are meant to entertain children though.

Thankfully I either sold or lost these types of games. xD

Horrible video games based on Movies/TV shows. 99% of the time they sport crappy controls, abysmal camera functions and more. That's not to say that all movie/tv tie in games are bad, there are a few gems there, but yeah.after all the industry crashed and burned thanks to E.T. phoning home

Other games I don't like? Hmm. Realistic first person shooters and sports games. I would also say that I'm not too fond of playing racing games at home, but they're soooo mmuccchhhh fun in arcades, and I spent many summers doling out coins to drive around like a maniac, haha. I guess I haven't liked a racing game on home console since Jak X. </3

Sometimes I'm still not fond of Pokémon Shuffle after getting my hands cramped after attending one of the events there, which is quite sad because I used to enjoy it a lot until I got through some levels (and events, the last time I played it) that might be too hard if I'm not spending some in-game money. However, several weeks ago, my opinions of Pokémon Shuffle started to change a bit once I find out that my hands are cramping again after playing a different game, thinking that maybe Shuffle was not the main cause of it all, even though I'm not sure of playing it once again as of yet.
