Are you a Retro Gamer?

    While I do find the newer game consoles like the Nintendo Wii U and the new games for it like Super Mario 3D World or Mario Kart 8 to be fun and all, most of the time I find myself going back to my old consoles such as my old Super Nintendo Entertainment System and play games like Super Mario World, or Donkey Kong Country 2, or heck, sometimes even going back to my NES to play Fire Emblem 1, or my old playstation to play Auto Destruct.

    My question to you is, are you the same way? Do you consider yourself to be more taken by the 'retro classic games'? Which games would those be? Feel free to discuss and share anything!

    My phone emulator gets lots of use lol yes I love some of the retros. Old Pokémon games, the original fire emblems are really fun, and even remakes on new systems are great too like ocarina of time or soon to be majoras mask. I'm not one to care about graphics so if the old game's are good I'll love to play them

    I don't think I'm a retro gamer... the only old game I like is Pokémon Yellow. :) I love DS and modern PC games the most. ^_^

    Oh lord no. I started with a Game Boy but that technology has been surpassed extremely and I just can't find myself enjoying it anymore.

    I'm more a modern gamer now, generally preferring everything about the latest games, but I find myself playing some of the old classics (like the Tetris released aon Gameboy)

    The only retro games I currently have in my possession are Final Fantasy VII and Crash Banndicoot 3.... okay, maybe I still have a handful of PS2 games. But Final Fantasy VII is still, in my opinion, the greatest RPG ever. But it sucks that I still haven't been able to defeat Emerald WEAPON. That monster is a beast.
